Terry McMillan presents: Forever (2024)

"Wow!, I must scream this time, forgive me if I make a lot of noise, why I did that is, I have just found a movie so interesting to watch, I bet you that anybody is going to like it.

The movie is Forever, a compassionate movie about a man in a small town, who is a baseball coach, and what happened in the movie was that, his wife dumb him, because he was not in town for another baseball coach, it sounds somehow hillarious right?, just hang on right there, because that is not the best part of the movie, read and i will get you what's the best thing.

His name is Johnnie (Taye Diggs) I want to tell you something, do you know why I so much love movies by Taye, to me, the way he reacts to things are so perfect, personally, I called him, Mr. romantic, and he also make that name an exciting one in this movie, as he was so alike in most of his performances.

So as Johnnie came back and realized that his wife has make another decision of her life, he was left alone, confused and almost messed up, there on the road, as he was driving to some eatery in town, he met this two police officers that stop him to check his papers, unfortunately, his papers were out of date, he was favor since one of the officers was his baseball teammates back then in high school days, but Johnnie can't get his eyes off the female officer, (Meagan good) carlie.

Later on that day, he came across Carlie in another place, and that was when he save her daughter from an annoying boyfriend, that was like ordering the girl around.

Carlie thanks him, and right there, they talked and had some drinks, but when she left she forgets her phone, Johnnie took it to her in the station and then asked her out officially, she says she can't go on a date with him, but Johnnie was such a romantic and stubborn person altogether, because he was ready to broke the law as many times as possible just for her to accept going on a date with him.

I like the movie so much, it focused on family matters, and how bad it can seems for a father to leave his family and not care about them, because that was what happened with Carlie's husband, he left them, stop communicating and also had nothing to do with them, I wonder how he slept all day and night, knowing that he had cut ties with his family as a father.

Carlie really go through a lot raising the girls on her own, then with the god sent Johnnie the duty was easier for her, yet, I wish the movie would have an happily ending which was what I wanted, but it did not, Carlie got ill, she passed through operation which she make it, but she still loose her life.

The children's got pissed off when their real father surface and insist on taking them with him, none of them wanted to go with him, because they resent him for abandoning them all those years.
