Saltburn: A movie to see
A weird, disturbing, intense, complex and nerve wrecking movie with a stunning, creepy and fascinating cinematography. Saltburn is a dark thriller that contains nudity, strong language, drugs and sex.
Starring Barry Keoghan as Oliver Quick, a scholarship student at the University of Oxford who later manages to establish some sort of friendship with a popular student, Felix Catton(Jacob Elordi) and therefore lies about his family's status in order to get close to the Catton family, kill them and take all they had.
"Saltburn" has some disturbing scenes like the bathroom scene, where Oliver drinks the bathwater in which Felix had beforehand masturbated in.
The grave scene, where Oliver sexes the soil of Felix's grave.
The movie ends with Oliver talking to a comatose Lady Elspeth(Rosamund Pike), here he reveals his plans about how he orchestrated everything from meeting Felix at Oxford to framing Farleigh for stealing the Catton family heirlooms and being responsible for Felix and Venetia's deaths.
It also leaves some character endings vague such as Farleigh's, James' and Duncan's; we are left to ponder on what really happened to them.
If u like movies with a twist and little complications then watch Saltburn.
