A Lovely Movie "Infested"

The movie with the original title "Vermines" was released on December 27, 2023 in France but appeared on Shudders on April 26th, 2024.
It is a fun spider flick, a one-time viewing type of movie, with a few things that hold this back from being rewatchable.
"Infested" is a classic horror movie with a simple but effective premise, relying on tension, suspense, and good old-fashioned scares to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

A young man's collection of exotic animals sparks chaos in his apartment complex when a poisonous spider escapes and begins to lay eggs throughout the building which causes an infestation of deadly, fast-replicating spiders in a French apartment building.
As the spider's offspring multiply and spread, the residents of the building start to get bitten, leading to gruesome and terrifying consequences. The spiders seem to be mutating and growing at an alarming rate, making them almost impossible to kill.

The young man along with his neighbor and a few other survivors, must band together to find a way to stop the spider infestation before it's too late. They soon discover that the spiders are not only deadly but also seem to be intelligent and working together to hunt down their prey.

As the situation spirals out of control, the group faces a desperate race against time to find a solution before the entire building is overrun by the deadly spiders. Will they all be able to make it out alive or will they lose some people along the line?

The movie builds up to a tense and terrifying climax, with plenty of jump scares and creepy moments along the way.

It is a movie that should be seen without a pop corn LOL
