Mortal Kombat 2 Casting Announcement
Yes, we are getting a Mortal Kombat 2. Sure, the first movie made a disappointing 84 million dollars, but the power of the brand is strong. When it hit HBO MAX a lot of people watched. Not a lot of people liked it, but if WB actually decide to do a good movie, like with actual fighting in it, then I am sure that people will be interested. I mean the brand name's power is incredible.
One big thing that was missing in the first movie was Johnny Cage. I mean how can you have Sonya without him? Well, Karl Urban has been cast in the role and it is exciting news. I mean he has so much charisma, like the character needs to have and we all know that he is great with action scenes of all kinds. I hope he will have a really central role in this movie because he will be a lot better than the current boring lead. Plus there is some potential for campiness now that he is on board.
I hope this movie finds a way to improve on the first one, I mean, it's not that hard to do. The computer game base is there with a lot of great stories. I also hope that Mileena will be in the movie.
