Actually New York city is among the cities I love so much so I was wondering about the best movie that I can come up with and here comes SERENDIPITY (2001).

The movie is about two people Jonathan and Sara who meet by chance while Christmas shopping. They spend their evening together exploring the city. New York City's magical atmosphere makes their time together special.

The city is just more than a background for the story, it helps shape the character's lives and relationship. As they work through central park, ice -skate at wollman pink looks at the Christmas light on fifth avenue. Jonathan and Sara's start to fall in love. But they are both afraid of getting hurt so they decided to dance and dance.

Years go by and Johnathan is about to get married. But he can't stop thinking about Sara. He starts searching for her all over the city. Meanwhile Sara is trying to figure out what she wants in life.

The city helps bring Jonathan and Sara back together from the busy street of Manhattan to the peaceful central park. New York City provides a special backdrop for their union.
