KNIGHT AND DAY
Here again with another interesting collabo action comedy with a touch of romance although valentine has passed everyday should be a romantic day and fighting together with the person you love is just as sweet as anything in the world when I saw this movie in my friends phone at first I thought it was a Knight of Camelot kind of movie until I watched the trailer OMG I went straight to my movie box searched the movie clicked download immediately and here we go it's just the kind of action movies I love when I see a lady in an action movie been so strong and skilled in handling guns and shooting like a no man business mennn it's all sweet
THE PLOT
The movie began with June Havens who was a car mechanic from Massachusetts she was on her way to her sister's wedding in Boston she met Roy Miller a handsome charming yet mysterious guy at the airport unknown to June Roy wasn't just an ordinary traveler he was a highly trained secret agent working on a very covert mission for the government they both got to know each other and coincidentally the boarded the same plane going to Boston unfortunately the flight took a dramatic turn as a group of heavily armed men attempted to hijack the plane but didn't succeed as Roy skillfully killed all of them unfortunately Roy shot the first pilot that accidentally shot the second pilot and now their plan was about to crash in the middle of nowhere
After the plane crash June wakes up to find herself in her room with lots of warming notes from her mysterious guy Roy had to explain to her that the attack wasn't accidental it turned out that Roy was in possession of a very powerful highly converted piece of technology the call ZEPHYR a small energy that has the ability to provide infinite power and a group of criminal organization known as the BAD GUYS were after the Zephyr and they were determine to get it from Roy
In the other hand the CIA were also looking for Roy according them Roy was a rogue agent who always goes off the grid and the believed that he actually might have stolen the Zephyr to sell it off so he was tagged a target
Because of the incidence that happened at the airport Roy had to convince June that they have to stick together in other for her life to be safe at first this idea didn't go well with June she was reluctant and confused but later had to trust him apparently because of his calm demeanor way of speaking and also for the fact that her survival actually depends on him Their situation becomes even more complicated as all the location they went for safety was been sighted by hitmen enemies and dangerous spies trying to kill them which made them had to travel from one location to the other and that didn't go without a fight
June had to learn quickly in other to defend her own life she had to adapt to the task she never thought she was capable of doing
It was in their time of traveling together that they both shared moments of camaraderie their relationship began to deepen and what started as an ordinary involuntary partnership transformed into a more serious personal connection Roy gradually opened up to June allowing her to see the part of him nobody ever knew about he also let her know the reason he left the CIA which was after be realized their secret dealings and betrayals he started operating individual using his skill to be one step ahead of both the CIA and the criminals
June found herself deeper into Roy's world as the movie climax she got involved in car chases shootout even hand to hand combat at the same time discovering the hidden talent and strength she never knew she had at most time she wasn't really sure of Roy's motives even at a point she had to betray him but yet she can't deny the feelings growing in her for him she had an undeniable attraction towards Roy had to become extremely loyal to him as they both fight together to defeat their enemies
The action intensify as Roy fights off the Bad boys agents using his exception spy skill and June who had grown more confident fights by his side with lots of daring escape and a confrontation that resolves the problem surrounding the Zephyr They two narrowly escaped death and also brings an end to the dangerous cat and rat game they have been playing with the CIA and the criminal organization
By the end of the movie the CIA realized that Roy was actually innocent of the false allegation of him stealing the Zephyr he actually was protecting innocent lives by preventing the technology from entering the wrong hands so they cleared his name from suspect list Allowing Roy and June to have a chance of living a normal life
MY REVIEW
KNIGHT AND DAY is a movie with very high energy action packed and comedy collabo with blends of thrilling stunts suspenseful scene and a sweet touch of unexpected romance it's what you can call a dangerous sweet adventure for June in fact even when the CIA offered her the opportunity to go home she wasn't ready to quit what she has been afraid of and the playful and romantic conclusion of the movie is topnotch both Roy and June are two funny crazy guys they were both the action part and our comic relieve from the beginning of the movie till the end is very interesting no dull moment it's rated 99%
