Romance Anime Review: 5 Centimeters per second

Hello everyone, Happy new year it has been quite some time since I have posted anything about anime. For some reason I couldn't be more active than. But with the new year I think I will be more active in this community. Today I am going to share with you my first Quest review a relationship based anime movie name 5 Centimeters per Second. So let's start.

Story

The story of the movie begins in 1991 in Tokyo, and two children named Takaki Tohno and Akari Shinohara are enrolled in a school in Tokyo in the fourth grade. They both liked each other and everything was the same, but they were not very sociable and usually lived alone. That's why they became friends. Seeing their friendship, many people thought that they were in a relationship. In this way, a lot of time passed, then their friendship continued and now they are in the sixth grade.

There was a cherry blossom tree in front of their school. And they both used to go there. So one day, after leaving school, they both went there and then Akari told Tohno that cherry blossom petals fall to the ground at a speed of one centimeter every 5 seconds. And these flower petals are soft like snow. Then they ran and ran to the railway line. And we see Akari go to the other side of the railway line and tell Tohno that we will see cherry blossom petals fall together again one day. Just then, a train passes in front of them and Tohno no longer sees Akari there. After a few days, Akari called Tohno and said that my father has been transferred to another place so they have to leave the city. I tried to give them a lot of good things but it didn't work. Hearing this, Tohno broke down in tears and went into depression due to loneliness.

And after a long time, since the phone was not so popular, Tohno wrote a letter to Akari in which he talked about the time they spent together and how much he missed reading cherry blossom petals. A year passed like this, now Tohno's family will leave their village and move to another city in Japan. And as a result, the distance between Tohno and Akari increased even more. Tohno wanted to see Akari one last time. Because if they leave, they will never see each other again. For the first time, Tohno leaves his city by train to meet Akari. When Tohno reaches the station, he sees Akari sitting there, although the train was very late, but Akari was waiting for him.

Here Akari spends some time with Tohno, wanting to see a cherry blossom petals fall where they become a little romantic, then they both walk through the snow to find a place to stay. Then Tohno says goodbye to Akari and heads home. Akari stands there as long as the train can be seen.

Then Tohno enrolls in another school and there a girl likes him at first sight, but he is a bit shy, so he cannot tell her. In this way, time passes and their friendship grows. Even though an acquaintance proposes to him, he refuses.

Many years have passed since then, Tohno is now working in a company, but he is not happy with his life because he always remembers Akari. Then we see Akari, who has an engagement ring on her hand and is coming to the city to do her wedding shopping. When he wants to see the old railway line, Tohno and he happen to be passing by it. Both of them pass by the side. Then when the two pass on both sides of the railway line, they turn around to see each other, but at that moment a train comes through the middle. Tohno stands there and waits for the train to pass, but when the train passes, there is no one there. Then Tohno quits his job and feels alone. He thinks that one day they will see the cherry blossom petals fall together. This is how the movie ends.

My Opinion

A very beautiful perspective is shown here. Many times when our relationship breaks down, we start thinking about the past and ruining our future life, although we cannot forget the person we love the most. So, you cannot ruin your future by thinking about them. Because you may be standing there but the other person will leave. You can remember one thing, but you have to move forward.
