I Learnt The Power of Love From The Originals.

I have been stucked with watching lots of movies lately, I get stressed a lot since beginning of this year. I am currently in my fourth year in the University and it's all about being on the farm, tending to animals and crops, learning about them and taking care of them. So, each time I get home and I can't sleep I'll just play a movie and ease every stress away till I am ready to sleep. I make sure I have movies to watch everyday, I don't do well with boredom and don't enjoy sleeping just because I am bored.

Recently, I just finished seeing all the seasons of The Originals. It is super interesting to me. It's an old movie and I have heard a lot about it but I never thought I should watch until last month: I got tired of watching K-dramas because I could not get any with more action and romance, I got tired of the 100% romance in K-drama. So, I gave The Originals a try and I do not regret it.

The Originals

This is a movie about family, love, siblings, power, vampires, witches and werewolves. This movie is about a family that has been living for thousands of years, they have witnessed and been part of many evolutions and generations of man. Their immortality started when Esther who was a witch came about a plan to save her children and husband with some dark magic which turned them into vampires, which makes them the first vampires ever. The dark magic did it work but she did not like the outcome as her sons and husband had to depend on human blood for survival.

The children Elijah, Niklaus, Rebekah and Kol ran away from home to start a new life. They found New Orleans as their home, reigned and ruled over it for long. They stood up for each other, they loved and fought for each other. They are bound by one rule "Always and Forever" initiated by Elijah, the calm, loving and most righteous amongst them. Niklaus brings nothing but problems, he only has made enemies for his whole family: there is always an enemy after another.

One profoud think I learnt from this movie is the power of love. These guys would hurt each other, do themselves dirty, at times deny the other person of their happiness. Yet, they would fight anyone who dares to hurt any member of thier family. I learnt that no one can support you like your blood. Another thing I learnt is forbearance, which is also a child element of love. The ability to allow and live with the flaw in a person because they can't stay long before they repeat their flaws no matter how many times they say they are sorry or promise not to ever do it again.

Niklaus could only survive for so many years because his siblings could forbear his evil ways. Though some of his siblings got tired of it but they couldn't push him away. Those flaws are big ones but that is not the exactly who Niklaus is, Niklaus loves his family so much but he doesn't know exactly how to express how much he love and cherish is family.

From The Originals, I learnt the power of love from another perspective. Love could be conditional yet unconditional at same time. One person that sacrificed so much all in the name of love was Elijah, he denied himself many happy things because of love.

Thank You For Reading Till The End

Yeehaw! This blog post sure captures the Wild West spirit of family, love, and sacrifice found in The Originals! It's mighty refreshing to see how love and forbearance can stand strong even in the face of dark times. Keep on watching and learning, partner!

Family will always be family. No matter how wicked someone is in the family like Niklaus, family still shows him or her love because they believe they should be bound by love and unity forever. I love vampire movies but when it's becoming too long with much episodes, I give up.

The Original family is an example of how strong family love is.

I couldn't stop watching. It wasn't too long for me because I enjoyed everything part of it.

Who would have thought that this movie I used to see the packs lie about at home then held lessons. I did not like it neither did I join my siblings to see it. Thought it was all gore and stuff. Interesting!

Family is love and love is family. I think what you explained is similar to what happens in homes. Siblings fight themselves but even in their heated arguments would not let anyone mess with their family.

Family love is one of the most natural and pure emotions ever. The movie is fun and has lessons to teach only if could sit and expect to learn something. Not just enjoy.

Family is love and love is family.

100% percent.

I envy your devotion to seeing movies to the end. I'd have slept off countless times and forgotten I have a movie to watch.

Sure, family love is the purest. That's where one can wander away, make mistakes and still be accepted like nothing happened.

I rarely sleep off while watching movie. I'd pause it once I notice that i'm sleepy. That's it they accept you again as if you never did a bad thing.
