TITANIC

Ever since i was a kid in my little age i have always heard about this historical event of the titanic ship but i had no clear idea on what really happened and why the ship became so popular.
The actual titanic disaster happened around April in the year 1912 nearly a hundred years before i was born but the very first box office hit movie of the titanic tragedy got on air in the year 1997.

Ever since the movie got released, i happened to finally see the movie around february 2023 after so many years.
Titanic(1997) was directed and produced by james cameron staring kate winslet as (rose) and Leonardo DiCaprio as (Jack), these were the main focus in the play as they embarked on a remarkable adventurous love journey.

I personally rated this movie 98% on a scale of hundred for a love, thrilling and romantic movie scene.

STORY LINE

The movie basically highlights the tragedy and disaster experienced by rose and jack the two love birds who met on the titanic ship while still maintaining the original story of the titanic disaster in 1912.
It was more like expressing the real life titanic story on a thrilling movie.

Rose left her fiance after finding true love in the hands of a young brilliant and smart young man jack, they promised never to leave each other and always be there for one another even till the end of the clock. But what happens to them when the mighty titanic ship began to sink? This is where the faith lies, who should save who and how will you survive in the middle of the freezing atlantic ocean.
My eyes unbelievably got wet in most scenes of this movie and i rated it the best love movie ever despite being more than a decade old already.

MY FAVORITE SCENES FROM THE TITANIC MOVIE

  • Firstly, the reluctance of rose towards jack was a thrill on this movie despite rose having some deep feelings for jack but she was reluctant like nothing was ever going to happen between them.

  • My second favourite take was how jack and rose kept up with each other on the titanic ship even when her fiance tried to eradicate jack after finding out she was no longer in love with him. Titanic began to sink but jack was handcuffed by rose's ex fiance under the sinking ship. How she managed to save jack from under a sinking ship was a big thriller.

  • My third favorite scene is the heart broken moments when the ship was finally sinking and all hope was lost for sailors on board, some people choose to jump inside the freezing atlantic ocean while some others locked themselves inside the sinking ship, at this point it was a matter of how you wish to embrace your own death.

Couples cuddled themselves on bed as the ship sank and a mother sang lullaby for her three young kids while she encourages them to sleep knowing fully well there was nothing they could do.

If you ever watch this movie and you don't feel something out of it then you're heartless. It became a survival of the fittest for rose and jack in this situation as they couldn't save themselves but a man is always a man and that is how jack gave up himself for rose and rose happened to be the only person who survived and was alive to tell the story of the sinking titanic.

Just curious.

How much did you pay Getty Images for this image. For the kind of prices they charge, it doesn't make sense for you use Getty Images for a blog post in Hive.

Thanks voice.direct for that observation, it wasn't from getty, that was a oversight from me. I don't pay for images got it from cosmopolitan and other free services

It appears to me to be a deliberate action to mislead others into thinking that you are using a paid service like Getty Images. I say that because when you linked to Getty Images, your linked to a set of images, instead of direct to the image you used, which is the proper linking method.

Even your reply that,"you got it from cosmopolitan and other free services" is a lie. You are implying that cosmopolitan images are free to use images, which is a lie again.

Cosmopolitan is a magazine and the particular image that they used was taken from tumblr, a microblogging site like Twitter. Neither Cosmopolitan nor Tumblr provide free images service. They don't own the images and so how can they distribute the images free to others. It is like me taking your car and giving it away free to others.

Cosmopolitan itself seems to be in breach of copyright by using the image from Tumblr.

If you use images from magazines and social media sites, without more, be ready to be admonished.
