(ENG/SPA) Documentary Review: The Lost Pyramid
As a species we want to know our past, nowadays the stress of everyday life as couples, families, work and society itself encloses us in a bubble that atrophies our minds by not allowing us to appreciate the true ancestral knowledge of knowing our origin, enjoy the mystery about why we are the only ones with a capacity of reasoning that has allowed us to forge civilizations and proudly show as the Egyptians did in their times the architectural power and faith of human beings.
Unknown The Lost Pyramid is a documentary that shows us the Millenary Pride of the Egyptians and I am not talking about mummies or tombs, I am talking about a person who lives nowadays and wants to recover the millenary pride of one of the most powerful civilizations that has existed on Earth, The Egyptian Culture which is one that always reminds us with one of the visible forces of the planet that are its Three Pyramids how glorious they were and that is why I highly recommend watching the following Trailer to encourage you to watch this documentary.
Netflix I think it hits the mark with this kind of documentaries because wow they are of power, many are fans of Indiana Jones movies but those productions will always be slaves of imagination and movie magic, instead here you meet real Archaeologists doing their job, people with a Passion capable of devouring anything and anyone to prove that their hypotheses and their convictions about the past are true.
The Unknown fits perfectly with the premise of the program because it is the struggle of science in academia that wants to crush with its boastfulness the alternative thoughts that do not allow themselves to be bent and raise how wrong we can be about the world knowledge of these cultures.
I will raise the various solid aspects that make this product attractive to those who enjoy being fed with knowledge:
- You will meet the Manda Mas of Current Egyptian Archaeology, Dr. Zahi Hawass:
Believe it or not this person is disowned by many in the world of Egyptian mystery, for no one is a secret the thoughts of many people in the world who believe the pyramids were influenced by beings that came from the stars, extraterrestrials, against this Dr Zahi Hawass is a retaining wall that does not let that ideal advance and we just see his radical thinking and conviction in this documentary.
I am not with any of the two factions, those who believe everything is extraterrestrial underestimate the human power to achieve things when we unite but I do not agree with Hawass and his thinking presented in the program that possibly does not let advance research that could give answers to questions about how the pyramids arose, were designed, were built including the famous lost pyramid that gives the title to the documentary.
- Passion for Archaeology is the Legacy of Dr. Zahi Hawass
You will see in the documentary how they really work in Egypt to make the discoveries that leave the rest of the world amazed about all the structural and religious Lore that this culture possesses. As you see the work structure, then you will meet the professionals and the heritage of a teacher to his students.
It is deeply remarkable in the documentary to know the way of being of Dr. Hawass that what he says is born from his soul, his Passion is that millenary culture and that love is what he has tried to leave as a legacy in his students who are now archaeologists who make their own expeditions.
- The Wounded Pride of Egypt:
You can get the juice out of this documentary in many aspects that I already name where this is the most weighty, The Egyptians were a civilization empire that fell, no longer exists but that does not mean that the pride of their descendants has died.
In the program they show how the discoveries have been made by foreigners and you can see that it hurts the pride of the Egyptians, that is why they have prepared decades and I think they have chosen well the person to prepare no longer the return of what they once were but the fact to say that what is buried in those desert sands belongs to Egypt.
- The Discovery:
I have always heard since I was a child in different documentaries the names of papyrus, statues, structures but I had never witnessed a discovery so be it one in lesser or greater degree, for me it is pure gold to see the rebirth of knowledge with this type of findings, to observe how it happens, to detail all the effort of dozens of men to get the needle they were looking for in a desert.
- Netflix is doing the right thing by investing in this kind of products:
I have had Netflix for about 3 months now and never in my life did I expect to get this type of documentaries, I thought I would only get films and series with the usual conflicts but never products of such value for us including our children because if we have lost something by being in front of a cell phone all day is the curiosity for knowledge, then to see that this and other knowledge oriented documentaries are available, I applaud it greatly and may they come more because boy do I want to see a lot more of this.

Excelente Oscar!😃
Muchachona to you specifically I recommend this documentary because it is not just any documentary, I remember I asked you about Dr. Zahi Hawass and you did not know who he was.
You defend the theory of the Aliens, Dr Zahis is a strong destroyer of that theory.
Hopefully one day you will visit the pyramids 😀
Great to see a documentary here! I used to watch so many history ones, so many conspiracy ones. I loved it so much, and definitely miss it. I feel documentaries have changed these days. There are less and less of them, and most tend to try to match the quality of films. I prefer that cheaper aesthetic!
They are very entertaining contents, since I was a child I have watched them thanks to my dad who used to put channels like History Channel, I have a little friend who loves conspiracy films and we don't necessarily have to discard all those theories because if there is something scientists are experts in is to make mistakes, it is trial and error what leads us to perfection. Yes, those documentaries of yesteryear are jewels, very characteristic for their cheap aesthetics, I hope soon to bring some that I saw when I was a child, especially of the God Carl Sagan.
Notice in this case talk about pyramids and is general culture the mystery surrounding their construction, then the crumbs that are inexplicable, that's where the fun is and that is what traps many to believe in beings from the stars.
There is less, knowledge does not sell and that is why this type of product is left behind, as long as we enjoy the little there is 😀
