No soy un gran fan de la saga de Star Wars, de hecho me anime a verlas en su totalidad ya pasada la adolescencia pero si que soy un gran admirador de su religión llamada The Force la cual al menos la entiendo así porque balancea todo lo que conocemos entre la luz y la oscuridad, de todo el Lore desarrollado en torno a este concepto surgen personajes Jedi y Sith que la implementan maravillando con su estética, estilo, presencia, vestuario y fuerza.
Darth Maul es uno de los mejores ejemplos del Poder de Las Tinieblas ejecutada por un Sith, solo vean la miniatura, transmite maldad pura con solo verle, cuando le vi en los 2000 fue lo que mas quedo en mi memoria, por eso me da cierto pesar que su film no haya sido aclamado como debería por culpa de otros detalles y se opaca en cierta manera a este personaje.

Dicen que el poder de los Sith esta dado por la venganza o al menos eso capto de los escritores del guion, pues este ser solo con verlo emana que quiere vengarse de mucha gente, nunca entendí porque tanta maldad u oscuridad señor Maul y lo mejor es que no importa, son pocos los personajes que logran esto a nivel masivo en una audiencia tan toxica como lo es la de esta saga y Ray Park logro quedarse por siempre en la memoria de fans con su performance y por tanto un casting perfecto en todos los aspectos.

Esto es un punto que brilla por si solo en el personaje al conocerle, la forma de los movimientos, el como amenaza a sus rivales para que le ataquen, ese tipo de cosas nacieron de Ray y se puede decir que en el alma de Maul esta Ray Park con esos movimientos sutiles de arte marcial como el que pueden ver en el gif y claro esta el maquillaje, me agrada mucho una de las imágenes que seleccione donde le vemos con sus dientes sucios, no recordaba eso y vaya que le queda genial porque le hace lucir rustico dándole aun mayor fuerza a su maldad.

Sabes que este es un excelente tema y tal vez se ha hablado poco, me refiero a la importancia de los Sith en las precuelas y en mi opinión, creo que cada uno que apareció en la historia antes de la saga original cumplió con su cometido y es que es raro leer o escuchar a alguien quejándose que seguramente si lo habrá porque el fandom de Star Wars esta muy mal.
Por ejemplo el Conde Dooku con su nombre Sith,"Darth Tyranus", creo que fue un buen villano y eso por la elección del actor que lo interpretó, al igual que su personaje es muy diferente a Darth Maul.
Creo que al final, cada imagen de villano que usa la fuerza o está muy ligado al imperio, siempre estará bajo la sombra de El Emperador y de Darth Vader y posiblemente ese sea la prueba que deberá superar la próxima serie basada en esta franquicia.
