Trap is a film directed by director Shyamalan which you can enjoy in theaters and it is a pleasant anecdote because I saw this film with the good guys Alfredo Mendez and his girlfriend Ile, they told me to see the trailer but as soon as they named that the director is Shyamalan, my immediate response was yes to see it because he is a master for plot twist and I am a fan of his films Unbreakable, Split and Glass in which I marvel with his way of linking those stories.
In this case it promises a story full of suspense, evil, connected with the genre of police cases and a serial killer, unfortunately it does not meet my expectations because it is too familiar, the concept concert, murderer and a trap that you can see in the trailer totally lacks cruelty, it seems that they are afraid to show evil in the film until it reaches a point where I think the director makes the film for his daughter Saleka to shine and only that.
I have seen films like The Acussed with Jodie Foster, The Shinning is another power film where you can perceive how they take their leading actresses to the limit so that the viewer enjoys all the anxiety and nervousness of them in the play, all the above I do not perceive in the film and I only see a girl who fulfills a sweet role and with a lot of makeup.
Perhaps these conditions of political correctness limit the directors and do not let them be so free in their creativity, this film requires evil, requires cruelty, death, abuse, show the viewer that the murderer really is because if not The Trap loses effectiveness by becoming a light story.
I give it 4 out of 10 because of course it has positive attributes like the concert and trap concept, now if the trailer encourages you and you like the trap concept plus that kind of genre traps the serial killer, go see the film because the right thing is to encourage people to see the products and have their own criteria on whether they want to see it or not.

Trap es una película dirigida por el director Shyamalan la cual pueden disfrutar en cines y es grata la anécdota porque vi este film junto a los buenos muchachones Alfredo Mendez y su novia Ile, me dijeron para ver el trailer pero apenas nombraron que el director es Shyamalan, mi respuesta inmediata fue un sí a verla porque es un maestro para los plot twist y soy fan de sus películas Unbreakable, Split y Glass en las cuales me maravillo con su forma de enlazar esas historias.
En este caso promete una historia llena de suspenso, de maldad, conectado con el género de casos policiales y un asesino serial, lamentablemente no cumple mis expectativas porque es demasiado familiar, el concepto concierto, asesino y una trampa que pueden ver en el trailer carece totalmente de crueldad, pareciera que tienen miedo de mostrar maldad en la película hasta que llega un punto en que pienso el director hace la película para que su hija Saleka brille y solo eso.
He visto films como The Acussed con Jodie Foster, The Shinning es otro film de poder donde se percibe el cómo llevan al límite a sus actrices protagonistas para que el espectador disfrute toda la ansiedad y nerviosismo de ellas en la obra, todo lo anterior no lo percibo en la película y solo veo una muchacha que cumple con un papel dulce y con mucho maquillaje.
Tal vez estas condiciones de lo políticamente correcto limitan a los directores y no les deja ser tan libres en su creatividad, este film requiere maldad, requiere crueldad, muerte, abuso, demostrarle al espectador que el asesino en verdad lo es porque si no La Trampa pierde eficacia al volverse una historia ligera.
Le doy 4 chiquitos de 10 porque claro que tiene atributos positivos como el concepto concierto y trampa, ahora si te anima el trailer y el concepto trampa te gusta plus ese tipo de genero atrapa al asesino serial, anímate a ver la película porque lo correcto es animar a las personas a ver los productos y tengan su propio criterio en si quieren o no verlo.
