Reseña: Kung Fu Panda 4 // Review: Kung Fu Panda 4
Una de las sagas animadas a la que más he prestado atención ha sido la de Kung Fu Panda, que para mi se consolidó con un su excelente segunda entrega. Después de una tercera parte que parecía que cerraba la saga, y tras varios años, ha llegado una nueva parte, ya pude verla. Estrenada este año, siendo sus directores Mike Mitchell y Stephanie Ma Stine.
One of the animated sagas to which I have paid more attention has been Kung Fu Panda, which for me was consolidated with its excellent second installment. Sinopsis: Tras muchos años siendo Po el Guerrero Dragón, este debe comenzar a buscar a su sucesor. Entre los candidatos, una astuta zorra ladrona llamada Zhen, puede ser la elegida. A este hecho, se le mezcla el caso de un nuevo enemigo, La Camaleona, quien parece tiene la capacidad de convertirse en anteriores enemigos de Po, y deberá enfrentar con ayuda de Zhen.
Synopsis: After many years being Po the Dragon Warrior, he must start looking for his successor. Among the candidates, a cunning thieving fox named Zhen, may be the one. To this fact, there is the case of a new enemy, The Chameleon, who seems to have the ability to become Po's previous enemies, and must face with Zhen's help.
Vista la sinopsis, ya puedes tener una idea clara de lo que va a suceder este título, y es que lo malo es sin duda lo lineal y simple, con giros que te ves venir o no sorprenden mucho. Se nota la falta de más personajes, y peor aún que no aparecen los Cinco Furiosos en este título. Sin embargo, lo que intenta hacer, y sabiendo ya el tono de estas películas, no lo hace mal, muchas escenas de acción y combate, con el humor que nos tiene acostumbrado esta franquicia. Un punto bueno, es volver a ver a Tai Lung, aunque más usado como fan service a mi parecer.
Having seen the synopsis, you can already have a clear idea of what is going to happen in this title, and the bad thing is undoubtedly the linear and simple, with twists that you see coming or do not surprise much. You notice the lack of more characters, and even worse that the Furious Five don't appear in this title. However, what it tries to do, and knowing the tone of these movies, it does not do it badly, many action and combat scenes, with the humor that we are accustomed to this franchise. A good point is to see Tai Lung again, although more used as a fan service in my opinion.
Toman más relevancia los padres de Po, participando en varias parte de la aventura. La enemiga si bien es interesante, no ahondan mucho en ella, como en otros enemigos de la saga. El ritmo es bueno, y el dinamismo se mantiene; aunque como mencione antes, pocas sorpresas.
Po's parents take more relevance, participating in several parts of the adventure. Although the enemy is interesting, they don't delve much into her, as in other enemies of the saga. The rhythm is good, and the dynamism is maintained; although as I mentioned before, there are few surprises.
La animación es buena y fluida, marca Dreamworks. Tal vez lo que faltó, es una mayor diversidad en los escenarios, no cambia mucho de lo visto en anteriores entregas. En las canciones destaca el cover de Baby One More Time interpretada por Tenacious D.
The animation is good and fluid, Dreamworks trademark. Perhaps what was missing is a greater diversity in the scenarios, it does not change much from what was seen in previous installments. In the songs, the cover of Baby One More Time performed by Tenacious D stands out.
En general, es una buena película familiar que te divertirá si te gusta la saga, pero no esperes una trama muy elaborada o grandes detalles.
Overall, it is a good family movie that will entertain you if you like the saga, but do not expect a very elaborate plot or great details.
