Siempre me interesa ver de vez en cuando documentales, y si es de uno de mis deportes favoritos, mucho más. En este título veremos el caso que ocurrió en la última final de la Eurocopa hecha en toda Europa, pero con final en Londres, en el estadio de Wembley. Estrenada en Netflix este año, siendo sus directores Robert Miller y Kwabena Oppong.

I'm always interested in watching documentaries from time to time, and if it's about one of my favorite sports, even more so. In this title we will see the case that happened in the last final of the Euro Cup made throughout Europe, but with final in London, at Wembley Stadium. Released on Netflix this year, being its directors Robert Miller and Kwabena Oppong.

Sinopsis: Este documental muestra los acontecimientos que giraron alrededor de la final de la Euro 2020, en donde la selección inglesa e italiana determinarán al ganador. A su vez, en los alrededores del estadio, miles de hinchas ingleses crean caos, mientras tratan de entrar a una final única en su vida.

Synopsis: This documentary shows the events that revolved around the Euro 2020 final, where the English and Italian teams will determine the winner. At the same time, around the stadium, thousands of English fans create chaos as they try to enter a once-in-a-lifetime final.

Si bien hay un poco del tema deportivo, el documental se enfoca en el caos y actos ilegales que cometieron diversos hinchas por tratar de entrar al estadio. Comienza contando la antelación, y las cosas que ocurren en las horas anteriores, durante y después del partido.

While there is a little of the sporting theme, the documentary focuses on the chaos and illegal acts committed by various fans trying to enter the stadium. It begins with the anticipation, and the things that happen in the hours before, during and after the game.

La forma que lo cuenta logra generar una gran expectativa, mientras muchos de los protagonistas de ese día, como hinchas, periodistas, guardias de seguridad y otros, nos van contando sus experiencias del día. Aunque hubiera sido interesante que también le dieran mayor parte al tema futbolístico en sí.

The way he tells it manages to generate great expectation, while many of the protagonists of that day, such as fans, journalists, security guards and others, tell us about their experiences of the day. Although it would have been interesting if they had also given more time to the soccer theme itself.

Es interesante ver cómo este evento, logra cambiar fuertemente el humor de la gente ese día, y tras el resultado, la reacción negativa en los hinchas. Al final, trata de generar un poco de reflexión sobre ello.

It is interesting to see how this event manages to strongly change the mood of the people that day, and after the result, the negative reaction of the fans. In the end, it tries to generate some reflection about it.

La edición es excelente, logra generar expectativas según avanzan las horas. Saben mezclar imágenes, videos, entrevistas e incluso tweets; de forma que se vuelve muy dinámico. Los 80 minutos pasan rápido.

The editing is excellent, it manages to generate expectations as the hours go by. They know how to mix images, videos, interviews and even tweets; so it becomes very dynamic. The 80 minutes pass quickly.

Es un buen documental para conocer los eventos ocurridos en esa final, especialmente si te gusta el fútbol.

It is a good documentary to learn about the events that took place in that final, especially if you like soccer.
