The Collective ~ Tediously Bad

I doubt this will take long but since I did watch it then it would be good to save even one other soul from also doing so.

The Collective is a kind of Die Hard wannabe movie. A group of cutting-edge online sleuths and a new recruit are set to topple the world's most powerful people who happen to do business in dodgy warehouse environments.

In this case, the rich of the rich buy people from one of the world's most sadistic auctioneers because you know that is how it works. Not like the rich of the rich can't just pick up any 'ol slob and splash them with attention for the same result.

I think people underestimate how little people willingly sell themselves for, but anyway.

Fortunately, this movie was on as background noise while I worked. If it was not I might have had to pull out a book on philosophy or possibly quantum entanglement just to get the blood pumping and keep my brain from rotting.

Essentially the plot is every twist you will find in the "Plot Twists for beginners" handbook rolled into one.

1. New guy outperforms everyone before him on the training course.
2. Previous record holder does not like the sun shining out of his ass
3. New guy just happens to be the only one for the job
4. New guy proves himself to haters
5. It is always a trap but lucky they know it
6. They can track anything
7. Wow, I thought you were dead
8. Let's do hand-to-hand instead of you just shoot me in the head
9. Look ma' I am undercover
10. Can you do the twist?

But really can you do the twist? I think it is one hand in and one hand out.
How about the macarena?

All in all it was kinda shit.
