The Åre Murders (2025) Series Review – Should You Watch It or Not?
Finally I watched "The Åre Murders". Today I will review this series. And let me tell you whether this series should be watched or not. You don't have to go through a lot of trouble to watch this series, you can only watch 5 episodes. A good thing is that you can watch 5 different cases within 5 episodes.
Theme
In this series you will see kind of investigation drama. I mean, what do 2 detectives do in a small town to solve various murder cases in that town? How to investigate? How to catch killers? You have to watch this series to know this.
Did I Like It?
There are some moments in the series that look like we're going to see something good. But if we talk about the overall series, then the series did not impress me that much. Definitely I think they can like this series, mainly those who have not seen much Crime, Investigation-Drama type movies & series. Like "Luther", "Mouse" has never seen such a series. If you like to watch Investigation-drama type series, then you can try once.
The series has some intense thrilling moments, which will impress you but are few and far between.
Production Value & Acting
The production value of the series is very good. The locations you will see are very good. It is very interesting to see the chemistry, drama, supporting characters, investigation process among the actors. The only substance the series has is that it feels a bit weak and predictable.
Final Verdict
Overall it is an average crime thriller. I will recommend this series to those who have never seen much content on this theme.
I give this series 6.5 out of 10.
In case, if you have already watched the series, then please comment how you like it.
Mmmh I honestly admit I expect so much better...I find it quite boring.
Lol I first thought the title was wrongly spelt but it's clearer now after reading.
I'm not a big fan of crime thriller especially when it's not Korean lol. Nice review anyways.
