Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget – Movie Review
I will review with you a new animation movie called "Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget". It is a comedy, adventure movie.
Plot Summary
The movie shows the story of a female chicken. That female chicken tries to escape from the farm with her friends. Because many chickens are killed in that chicken farm. Meanwhile they are being killed and somehow they escape from that chicken farm. And they go and start their new life on a small island. Later that female chicken gave birth to a girl chicken and by some mistake reached the previous farm. Many try to stop him but he reaches the farm due to his stupidity. Now you can see in the movie how they went to that farm and risked their lives to save their daughter.
Predictability and Lack of Depth
While watching this movie, one thought was coming to mind, who is it made for, adults or kids? The story of the movie is very predictable, one thing you can guess at first is what will happen next. This movie does not present anything new to us. Even, you cannot get emotionally attached to the characters of the movie. Even, you don't get to see much action in the movie. Overall, I didn't find anything new in the movie. That's why while watching the movie I was thinking who is it made for?
Target Audience – Who Is It For?
This movie is definitely not made for adults. Again you cannot show this movie to children. Because if you show this movie to kids, they will learn to fight. Because when the chicken girl tries to convince her mother she fights with her mother and says she can't control her, I want freedom. Although the baby chicken's daughter is very young. If you show these movies to kids, they will learn these things.
Final Verdict
For this reason I would not recommend this movie for children at all. Or I would recommend this movie to adults, because there is nothing much to watch in this movie. This is a very simple animation movie. Where you can watch if you don't have any movies on your watchlist.

Thank you! Yes, you're right, it's a lighthearted watch, but those expecting something like the first movie might be disappointed. If you're in the mood for something fun, you can give it a try, but story-wise, there's nothing much new.
I watched the original chicken run as a kid at least a couple times and really liked that one. I'll most likely skip on this one. Thanks for the review!
