Why Arcane’s Deaths Didn’t Feel Real

Another cliffhanger I'm starting to believe Riots' people are just actual demons. Well anyway, I thought for the entire season that Vander had actually become Warwick, but in the end they never called him that and even removed Warwick-specific gear and gave him permanent metallic glorious evolution parts. And then they offed Jinx (definitely alive, the body was not shown). They cooked, man. They really did. But dear god, they really like torturing the show enjoyers. I bet every show they make now is gonna end on a cliffhanger. Oh, and also I guess they just thought they can show Heimendinger in the future like what is this teasing so many plot points left open... To be fair, how they made Jinx like ruin all of the relevant areas in the show did do well to signify the continuation won't be doing a lot in Zaun or Piltover.

Continuing the rant, I doubt any of the legends actually died in the end, even Ambessa. They were all set up rather curiously—Jinx having regrets as she falls, Warwick having the healing capabilities, Mel coming to save Ambessa from Black Rose as to imply play along and then ditching anyone, Heimendinger just doping out of there, same with Ekko, Viktor, and Jayce... In short, they all probably remain alive, hence why one feels so dissatisfied with the ending. The deaths were written by the writers to be manufactured by the characters in the show to pull our pants down for the season 1 comments on plot armor just to bring them back later. Their deaths just seem too convenient for the ones dying and around them, and then there's like no funerals or dead bodies brought up again after Riktus died, and that dude was just some random hobo and he got a funeral.

But seriously though, do they really have to do the loose leads? It's torture since it's probably gonna take like at least 1 to 2 more years to get the ones they are probably already working on.
