I hope you are doing well, I am doing well, well more or less, it has been a very, very difficult two weeks and that is why I have been more absent than usual around here, to tell you that I only had a moment of happiness on my birthday which was 3 days ago, but well, that's really a catharsis and it is not what I come to deal with today. In this opportunity I want to continue with my review of the series of The Crown, which finally, since February I did my first review of season 1 and 2, let's hit it with the missing seasons, 3,4, 5 and 6.

It should be noted that I already did a previous review, only talking about the periods of history that are treated in the series until season 1 and 2, so what I will talk about here will be from season 3 onwards until the end, which for me, I found a golden brooch for everything that encompasses the history of Queen Elizabeth II and the British monarchy.

Our story begins with a more mature Queen Elizabeth II, complexed by her adult years where she feels that she no longer possesses the same youth and beauty as before, although most of her secretaries, workers and relatives try to encourage her, telling her that she still has that beauty that when she assumed the reign, she assumes the reality that she is not the same when she was younger and now she must live with that reality, besides being the monarch of an entire country. In this period, Queen Elizabeth's decisions will be crucial for the changes that the country and the monarchy will have in the future, decisions that will be questioned by the oldest in power, where she must maintain a firm stance, not to be carried away by her subjectivity but by the duty she has with a whole country.

Then in a leap in time, we meet a Queen Elizabeth II who is older, more cautious and with more patience to think things through. Others around her begin to question the amount of years the monarch has on the throne, as society moves forward, they worry that the queen will not move forward and that the monarchy will stagnate along with her. At this point Queen Elizabeth questions her leadership as a monarch, as a leader of a church and as a public figure of a nation, she worries about what society thinks of herself and the things she has done in all her years since assuming the crown, she begins to have flashbacks of the things she did and the things she could not do because of duty. Finally, she must deal with a nation's grief and guilt at the immense loss left by the physical loss of Princess Diana.

I'm not going to lie, at the beginning and better said, in most of the chapters from 3 to 4 I found them very tedious and heavy, which is the reason or one, why I lasted so long watching them, while the first two seasons, each chapter connected with the previous one and opened a new situation for the queen or the royal family, in these next seasons I felt that it lacked that, which made this series interesting. I felt that each chapter was isolated from the previous one and that it was just filling a space, few were the ones that I found very interesting, of course, until the arrival of Princess Diana to the royal family.

When Princess Diana enters the royal family, it was at that moment that I watched the chapters with a lot of interest, I am someone who does not know about the theories that revolve around the terrible accident of the princess, and to see her story in the series, how they captured what is known of what she lived, how she felt, and how she had to grow part of her years where she did not feel loved. On the other hand, they show us the perspective of others, that what Diana suffered was something that everyone in the royal family suffers, including the queen, and that what is seen is a mere habit to accept her reality.

Now, if I could get quite interesting to the remaining 4 seasons, and is the evolution of the character of the queen, while in the first two seasons showed us a young Elizabeth, confused and naive, in 3 and 4 show us a fairly entrenched strength, determined of what she does and orders, without wobbles but unsure of herself for the years. Finally, in 5 and 6, we already see a queen who already knows what to do in every aspect that presents itself, but, she is tired, accepting the reality of her years and with many people around her waiting for her to leave the towel by herself or with the same nature to do so. And that is where the end of this series becomes spectacular, because the end is practically a recomposition of the security she had of the Young Elizabeth, of the strength she has of the adult Elizabeth and of the maturity and experience of the older Elizabeth, that security in her reign until life allows it.

And well my dear readers, this was my review of this good series, educational, full of good stories of the royal family and that for me, is one of my top best made real life series. I hope you liked reading me, I would like to know what you think in the comments 🤔I will be attentive to read you.

Espero se encuentren muy bien, yo bien, bueno más o menos, ha sido una dos semanas muy pero muy difíciles y por ello he estado más ausente de lo normal por aquí, con decirles que solo tuve un momento de felicidad en mi cumpleaños que fue hace 3 días ya, pero bueno, realmente eso es una catarsis y no es lo que vengo a tratar hoy. En esta oportunidad quiero continuar con mi reseña de la serie de The Crown, la cual por fin, desde febrero que hice mi primera reseña de la temporada 1 y 2, vamos a darle con las temporadas faltantes, 3,4, 5 y 6.

Cabe destacar que ya hice una reseña anterior, solo hablando de los periodos de la historia que se trata en la serie hasta la temporada 1 y 2, o sea que lo que aquí hablaré será de la temporada 3 en adelante hasta el final, que para mí, me pareció un broche oro para todo lo que engloba la historia de la reina Isabel II y la monarquía británica.

Nuestra historia comienza con una reina Isabel II más madura, acomplejada por sus años de adultez donde siente que ya no posees la misma juventud y belleza como antes, aunque la mayoría de sus secretarios, trabajadores y familiares la tratan de animar, diciéndole que aún posee esa belleza que cuando asumió el reinado, ella asume la realidad de que no es la misma cuando era más joven y ahora debe convivir con esa realidad, además de ser la monarca de todo un país. En este periodo, las decisiones de la reina Isabel serán cruciales para los cambios que tendrá el país y la monarquía a futuro, decisiones que serán cuestionadas por los más viejos en el poder, donde deberá mantener una postura firme, en no dejarse llevar por sus subjetividad sino por el deber que tiene con todo un país.

Luego en un salto en el tiempo, nos encontramos con una reina Isabel II más avanzada de edad, más precavida y con más paciencia para pensar las cosas. Los demás a su alrededor empiezan a cuestionar la cantidad de años que tiene la monarca en el trono, mientras que la sociedad avanza, se preocupan de que la reina no avance y que la monarquía se estanque junto con ella. En este punto la reina Isabel se cuestiona su liderazgo como monarca, como líder de una iglesia y como figura pública de una nación, se preocupa de lo que la sociedad opina de sí misma y de las cosas que ha hecho en todos sus años desde que asumió la corona, comienza a tener recuerdos de las cosas que hizo y de las cosas que no pudo hacer por el deber. Por último, debe lidiar con el duelo y la culpa de una nación, ante la falta inmensa que dejó la pérdida física de la princesa Diana.

No les voy a mentir, al principio y mejor dicho, en la mayoría de los capítulos del 3 al 4 me parecieron muy tediosos y pesados, por lo cual es el motivo o uno, de porqué dure tanto viéndolos, mientras que las primeras dos temporadas, cada capítulo conectaba con el anterior y se abría una nueva situación para la reina o la familia real, en estás temporadas siguiente sentí que le faltaba eso, lo que volvía interesante está serie. Sentí que cada capítulo estaba aislado del anterior y que además solo estaba rellenando un espacio, pocos fueron los que me parecieron muy interesante, claro, hasta la llegada de la princesa Diana a la familia real.

Cuando la princesa Diana entra a la familia real, fue en el momento que los capítulos los volví a ver con mucho interés, de por sí, yo soy alguien que desconoce de las teorías que giran entorno al terrible accidente de la princesa, y ver su historia en la serie, de cómo plasmaron de lo que se sabe de lo que vivió, de cómo se sentía, y como a su vez tuvo como crecer parte de sus años en donde no se sentía querida. Por otro lado, nos muestran la perspectiva de otros, de que lo que sufría diana era algo que sufren todos en la familia real, incluyendo a la reina, y que lo que se ve, es una mera costumbre a aceptar su realidad.

Ahora bien, si pude sacar bastante interesante a las 4 temporadas restantes, y es la evolución del personaje de la reina, mientras que en la dos primeras temporadas nos mostraban una Isabel joven, confusa e ingenua, en la 3 y 4 nos muestran a una con una fuerza bastante arraigada, decidida de lo que hace y ordena, sin tambaleos pero insegura de sí misma por los años. Por último, en las 5 y 6, ya vemos una reina que ya sabe qué hacer en cada aspecto que se presenta, pero, se encuentra cansada, aceptando la realidad sus años y con mucha gente a su alrededor esperando que deje la toalla por si misma o con la misma naturaleza lo haga. Y es ahí es donde el final de esta serie se vuelve espectacular, porque el final es prácticamente es una recomposición de la seguridad que tenía de la Isabel Joven, de la fuerza que tiene de la Isabel adulta y de la madurez y experiencia de la Isabel de avanzada edad, que seguridad en su reinado hasta que se lo permita la vida.

Y bueno mis queridos lectores, está fue mi reseña de esta buena serie, educativa, llena de buenas historias de la familia real y que para mí, es una de mis top de series de la vida real mejor realizadas.
