I hope you are all well ❤️ me well, I'm back to resume many things thanks to I have internet ✨ and in Hive, among them are the reviews😌 and it can't be that it's still the month of Star Wars and I only have one publication 🤣 but that will change today 😌, this time I bring you a brief but entertaining review about "Historias del Imperio" 💪🏻

These are a series of 20min short films that tell in a summarized way facts that happened within what is the world of Star Wars and its stories focusing on two people, this happening before the clone wars, during the clone wars and after with the rise and fall of the empire, within two perspective, from stories of the good guys or Jedi and history of the empire.

Last year Disney released what was the Jedi stories, where they told us about the story of Count Dooke in his time as a Jedi, retired master and his fall to the dark side and at the same time the life of the young padawan Ahsoka Tano, her childhood, her training with Anakin for the clone wars and her life after the fall of the Jedi and the 66th order. How do you see these shorts show those stories or moments that are not seen in the chronology series or movies, and reveal those holes of theories of what happened.

History of the Empire focuses us in the first moment with the witch of Dathomir Morgan Elsbeth, at the exact moment where her planet is attacked by the forces of the separatist droid army of General Grievous, by orders of Count Dooke. With the loss of her mother at the hands of the cyborg, Morgan seeks refuge with the clans of the mountains, where before the passivity of the other clans, Morgan decides to return to the battle being almost defeated if it had not been for the reinforcements, disappointed, Morgan leaves Dathomir with an omen where her future would only bring destruction.

The next story is about the former Jedi apprentice Barriss Offee, who was charged with treason against the Republic and magnicide against the Jedi in a temple bombing where several Jedi, civilians and clones were killed in an attempted protest against the Jedi order. Serving her sentence in prison, Barriss witnesses the execution of order 66 in the temple, which dictates that "all Jedi are considered traitors to the republic and are sentenced to death" but since Barriss is no longer a Jedi, her clone jailers do not execute her. Some time later with the new galactic empire, Barriss is given a choice, between remaining a Jedi and dying then and there, or renouncing her past, to enter the ranks of the empire to join the ranks of the inquisitors.

I think these shorts were the most awaited by the whole Star Wars community, mainly because in the previous shorts we had already revealed pasts like that of Count Dooke, who we knew nothing about him as a Jedi until these mini stories came out within the same continuity. In the same way it happens with Empire stories, most of the Star Wars fandom was waiting to know what happened with Barriss Offee, since she was defeated in The Clone Wars we didn't know about her until now.

However I noticed that they kept the same focus on catering to the audience to make the series neither too long nor too short. They took a character that caused too much curiosity to know more of his story like Count Dooke and Barriss Offee, with characters like Ahsoka and Morgan that while interesting, the development of their story no longer had as much boom as the first two.

However, the Ahsoka and Morgan stories do have a part that everyone wanted to see, in Ahsoka's case, is how she defeated the third brother and got her white lightsabers and in Morgan's case we go deeper into the battle of Dathomir and see General Grievous fight like the killing machine he was. However there are details that while I don't mind nor can I say I disliked I must mention.

Stories of the empire is something that Disney had been doing a lot of hype a lot before the month, with stories that most when seeing the trailers were excited, as is the case of Barriss, but then see the full story and episodes, honestly did not exceed my expectations, and I feel that they could have given a better development.

For example it was already known that Barriss in the times of the new republic, or the empire at its peak, would already be dead, because she did not appear in Rebels or in the other movies, but to see her as an inquisitor for a brief moment and then move to the light side and give her an open ending where it is not known if she survived or not, it seems to me very unsuccessful to close the chapter with this character.

Espero se encuentren muy bien ❤️ yo bien, volviendo a retomar muchas cosas gracias a que tengo internet ✨ y en Hive, dentro de ellas están las reseñas😌 y no puede ser que es el mes aun de Star Wars y solo llevo una publicación 🤣 pero eso cambiará el día de hoy 😌, en esta oportunidad les traigo una breve pero entretenida reseña sobre “Historias del Imperio” 💪🏻

Estos son una serie de cortos de 20min que cuentan de forma resumidas hechos que ocurrieron dentro de lo que es el mundo de Star Wars y sus historias enfocándose en dos personas, esto ocurriendo antes de las guerras clon, durante las guerras clon y después con la surgimiento y caída del imperio, dentro de dos perspectiva, desde historias de los buenos o Jedis e historia del imperio.

El año pasado Disney sacó lo que fue historias de los Jedis, dónde nos contaba acerca de la historia de lo que fue el Conde Dooke en su época de Jedi, maestro retirado y su caída al lado oscuro y a la vez la vida de la joven padawan Ahsoka Tano, su niñez, su entrenamiento con Anakin para la guerra de los clones y su vida después de la caída de los Jedi y la orden 66. Cómo ven estos cortos muestran esas historias o momentos que no se ven en las series de la cronología o en las películas, y revelan esos agujeros de teorías de lo que sucedió.

Historia del Imperio nos centra en el primer momento con la bruja de Dathomir Morgan Elsbeth, en el momento exacto donde su planeta es atacado por las fuerzas del ejército de droides separatistas del General Grievous, por órdenes del Conde Dooke. Con la pérdida de su madre a manos del cyborg, Morgan busca refugio con los clanes de las montañas, donde ante la pasividad de los demás clanes, Morgan decide retomar a la batalla siendo casi derrotada sino hubiese sido por los refuerzos, decepcionada, Morgan abandona Dathomir con un presagió donde su futuro solo traería destrucción.

La siguiente historia es sobre la ex aprendiz Jedi Barriss Offee, quien fue acusada de traición contra la república y magnicidio contra los Jedi en un atentado en el templo donde murieron varios Jedis, civiles y clones en un intento de protesta contra la orden Jedi. Pagando su sentencia en prisión, Barriss presencia la ejecución de la orden 66 en el templo, que dicta que “todos los Jedis son considerados traidores de la república y son sentenciados a muerte” pero como Barriss ya no es una Jedi, sus carceleros clones no la ejecutan. Tiempo después con el nuevo imperio galáctico, se le da a Barriss a escoger, entre seguir siendo una Jedi y morir en ese momento, o renunciar a su pasado, para adentrarse en las filas del imperio para formar parte de las filas de los inquisidores.

Estos cortos creo que eran los más esperados por toda la comunidad de Star Wars, principalmente porque en el anteriores cortos ya se nos habían revelado pasados como el del Conde Dooke, que no sabíamos nada sobre él como Jedi hasta que salieron estás mini historias dentro de la misma continuidad. De la misma forma pasa con historias del imperio, la mayoría del fandom de Star Wars esperábamos saber que paso con Barriss Offee, desde que fue vencida en en The Clone Wars no se supo de ella hasta ahora.

Sin embargo me di cuenta que mantuvieron el mismo enfoque de atención al público para no hacer la serie ni tan larga ni tan corta. Tomaron un personaje que causaba demasiada curiosidad saber más de su historia como es el Conde Dooke y Barriss Offee, con personajes como Ahsoka y Morgan que sí bien son interesantes, el desarrollo de su historia ya no tenía tanto bum como el de los dos primeros.

Sin embargo, las historias Ahsoka y Morgan si tienen una parte que todo mundo quería ver, en el caso de Ahsoka, es como venció al tercer hermano y consiguió sus sables de luz blancos y en el caso de Morgan adentrarnos más en la batalla de Dathomir y ver al General Grievous pelear como una máquina asesina que fue. Sin embargo hay detalles que si bien no me molestan ni puedo decir que me disgustaron debo mencionar.

Historias del imperio es algo que Disney venía haciendo bastante propaganda muchísimo antes del mes, con historias que la mayoría al ver el tráilers se emocionaba, como es el caso de Barriss, pero luego ver completo la historia y los episodios, honestamente no supero mis expectativas, y siento que pudieron darle un mejor desarrollo.

Por ejemplo ya se sabía que Barris en los tiempos de la nueva república, o del imperio en su auge, ya estaría muerta, porque no apareció ni en Rebels ni en las demás películas, pero al verlas como inquisidora un momento breve para luego pasarse al lado luminoso y darle un final abierto donde no se sabe si sobrevivió o no, me parece muy poco acertado para cerrar el capítulo con este personaje.
