Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un nuevo post bastante genial donde les recomiendo otras 3 películas de terror. Tenía mucho tiempo sin traerles añguna publicación referente a películas, pero estoy de vuelta para traerles más contenido referente al cine y la televisión. Anteriormente hice dos publicaciones recomendando algunas películas de terror pero tenía mucho tiempo sin recomendarles más, así que aprovechando que estamos en el mes de terror y además, ha pasado tanto tiempo que he visto tan películas de este género les vengo a traer más. El terror podría decirse que es el que más disfruto de ver, me gusta mucho ver una película de terror y que genuinamente me deje una sensación de miedo, se podría decir que es satisfactorio porque significa que la película cumplió su cometido. En este caso les traigo tres películas que me gustaron mucho y que personalmente me dejaron wsa sensación de horror, comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come to you with a new pretty cool post where I recommend you 3 more horror movies. I had a long time without bringing you any post regarding movies, but I'm back to bring you more content regarding movies and TV. Previously I did two posts recommending some horror movies but I had a long time without recommending more, so taking advantage that we are in the month of horror and also, it has been so long that I have seen so many movies of this genre I come to bring you more. Horror is arguably the one I enjoy watching the most, I really like to watch a horror movie and that it genuinely leaves me with a feeling of fear, you could say that it is satisfying because it means that the movie did its job. In this case I bring you three movies that I really liked and that personally left me with a feeling of horror, let's go!
Oddity
Esta película seguramente sea la más nueva de la lista ya que fue estrenada este año. La trama gira en torno a la misteriosa muerte de una mujer llamada Dani, la cual fue aparentemente asesinada en extrañas condiciones. Su hermana gemela, Darcy es una muejr ciega que también es una medium la cual sigue triste por la muerte de su hermana un año después. El que solía ser su cuñado, el psiquiatra Ted Timmis le cuenta que está volviendo a salir con alguien y que se mudará con su nueva novio, pero resulta que Darcy también llega a la casa donde pudo haber vivido su hermana con su esposo. Darcy lleva un extraño maniquí que al principio es muy raro, pero que resulta ser de mucha utilidad para descubrir lo que pasó con su hermana. Todo lo que cubre la trama es misterio y terror porque no se sabe que es lo que le ocurrió realmente a la mujer asesinada, pero el giro de acontecimientos puede resultar bastante sorpresivo para mucho y el final es satisfactorio. Personalmente a mí no me generó mucho miedo pero la verdad es que el ambiente es bastante oscuro y tétrico, con una historia muy bien construida y un buen final, la verdad que la película me gustó mucho.
This movie is probably the newest on the list since it was released this year. The plot revolves around the mysterious death of a woman named Dani, who was apparently murdered under strange conditions. Her twin sister, Darcy is a blind woman who is also a medium who is still saddened by her sister's death a year later. Her former brother-in-law, psychiatrist Ted Timmis tells her that she is dating again and moving in with her new boyfriend, but it turns out that Darcy also arrives at the house where her sister may have lived with her husband. Darcy is carrying a strange mannequin that at first is very odd, but turns out to be very helpful in finding out what happened to her sister. All that covers the plot is mystery and terror because you don't know what really happened to the murdered woman, but the turn of events can be quite surprising to many and the ending is satisfying. Personally to me it did not generate much fear but the truth is that the atmosphere is quite dark and gloomy, with a very well constructed story and a good ending, the truth is that I really liked the movie.

Esta película cuando la vi por primera vez al principio no me atrapó, pero al analizarla y verla más a fondo la considero como una buena película de terror. It Follows comienza mostrando a una mujer corriendo despavorida sabiendo su terrible final y luego se muestra que fue brutalmente asesinada, y aunque parece un caso aislado no es lo que parece. Luego se ve a una pareja de jóvenes en una cita, el chico le comenta a la chica sobre una extraña mujer que está en el cine, la chica la cual se llama Jay no la ve y el chico aparentemente asustado le pide a Jay que se vayan. Luego de tener relaciones íntimas en el carro el chico duerme a Jay para luego despertar amarrada a una silla de ruedas, el chico le explica que mediante las relaciones sexuales que mantuvieron ahora le traspasó una maldición donde un ente que toma distintas apariencia humanas la perseguirá y ese ente solo puede ser visto por gente que está maldita, si ese ente la trapa antes de traspasar la maldición la matará y luego irá por la persona que se la transmitió. A partir de aquí la chica junto a sus amigo intenta desesperadamente buscar una solución antes de que el ente logre llevársela. Realmente es una película que te mantiene tenso y que aunque parece que se resuelve todo en algunas ocasiones, resulta que la maldición es difícil de vencer, realmente la recomiendo mucho por su originalidad y ambiente tétrico.
This movie when I saw it for the first time at first it didn't catch me, but after analyzing it and seeing it more thoroughly I consider it a good horror movie. It Follows begins by showing a woman running in terror knowing her terrible end and then it is shown that she was brutally murdered, and although it seems like an isolated case it is not what it seems. Then a young couple is seen on a date, the boy comments to the girl about a strange woman in the movie theater, the girl whose name is Jay doesn't see her and the apparently frightened boy asks Jay to leave. After having intimate relations in the car the boy puts Jay to sleep and then wakes up tied to a wheelchair, the boy explains to her that through the sexual relations they had he has now passed on a curse where an entity that takes on different human appearances will chase her and this entity can only be seen by people who are cursed, if this entity traps her before passing on the curse it will kill her and then go after the person who passed it on to her. From this point on, the girl and her friends desperately try to find a solution before the entity manages to take her away. It really is a movie that keeps you tense and although it seems that everything is solved at times, it turns out that the curse is difficult to overcome, I really recommend it highly for its originality and gloomy atmosphere.

Esta podría estar catalogada como una de mis películas de terror favoritas por el giro de trama que tiene. La historia se presenta en periodos de tiempos distintos, a través de flashbacks de la infancia de los protagonistas y en la actualidad donde los chicos ya son adultos. Para dar un resumen general, los hermanos Kaylie y Tim Russell en su niñez se mudaron junto a sus padres Alan y Marie a una nueva casa, donde Alan el cual es un programador adquiere un nuevo espejo para decorar su oficina. Alan cada vez se va volviendo loco alucinando con una mujer a través del espejo, pasando mucho tiempo encerrado en la oficina y distanciándose de su familia, A lo largo del tiempo el espejo comienza a hacer estragos en los dos adultos, terminando con los padres fallecidos y los niños traumatizados, prometiéndose el uno al otro que se reunirán de nuevo. En la adultez Tim y Kaylie se reúnen y aunque Tim no quiere saber nada más de lo que ocurrió esa noche de la muerte de sus padres, Kaylie lo convence de probar que todo lo que ocurrió no fue culpa de nadie, sino del espejo que está maldito, el cual ella recupero gracias a subastas. A partir de allí van ocurriendo muchas cosas que muestran que el espejo hará lo posible para protegerse a sí mismo y acabar con los dos hermanos, a pesar de que ellos piensen que están protegidos. Es una película realmente buena que genera miedo y te tiene tenso en todo momento, además de que el giro de acontecimientos el excelente y un final que inesperado, realmente la recomiendo.
This could be listed as one of my favorite horror movies because of the plot twist it has. The story is presented in different time periods, through flashbacks of the main characters' childhood and in the present day where the kids are now adults. To give a general summary, siblings Kaylie and Tim Russell in their childhood moved with their parents Alan and Marie to a new house, where Alan who is a programmer acquires a new mirror to decorate his office. Alan increasingly goes crazy hallucinating with a woman through the mirror, spending a lot of time locked in the office and distancing himself from his family, Over time the mirror begins to wreak havoc on the two adults, ending with the parents deceased and the children traumatized, promising each other that they will meet again. In adulthood Tim and Kaylie reunite and although Tim doesn't want to know anything more about what happened that night of his parents' death, Kaylie convinces him to prove that everything that happened wasn't anyone's fault, but the mirror that is cursed, which she recovered thanks to auctions. From there many things happen that show that the mirror will do everything possible to protect itself and kill the two brothers, even though they think they are protected. It is a really good movie that generates fear and keeps you tense at all times, plus the turn of events is excellent and the ending is unexpected, I really recommend it.

Oddity es una de las películas que quiero ver por los buenos comentarios que he leído en redes sociales; no tengo altas expectativas, pero si quiero corroborar que tan buena es.
It Follows es uno de mis películas de terror favorita, segunda vez que veo protagonizar a Maika Monroe y a parte de eso, creo que es una de las mejores historias que he visto en uj film de terror, usar el elemento de un encuentro sexual casual para expandir una maldición, es una idea genial. El año que viene se estrena la secuela.
