Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un nuevo post donde les hablaré de película que me gustaron cuando era más joven. Siempre me han gustado las películas animadas sobre todo cuando era niña que es cuando uno ve más caricaturas. Disfrutaba mucho de ver películas en VHS o DVD y las veía muchas veces si me gustaban mucho. Las películas de las que hablaré hoy la he visto recientemente y la verdad me trajeron lindos recuerdos, además de ser buenas ya que sus tramas a pesar de todo, abordan temas serios y profundos así que les hablaré de ellas, comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come with a new post where I will talk about movies that I liked when I was younger. I have always liked animated movies especially when I was a child which is when you see more cartoons. I enjoyed watching movies on VHS or DVD and I watched them many times if I liked them a lot. The movies I will talk about today I have seen recently and the truth is that they brought me nice memories, besides being good because their plots, in spite of everything, deal with serious and deep topics, so I will tell you about them, let's go!

Esta película me encantaba cuando era niña y recuerdo que la veía en un canal nacional de mi país. Es del año 1988 y producida por Universal Studios, Lucasfilm y Amblin Entertainment, esta película fue tan exitosa que se creó una franquicia. La trama se centra en un pequeño apatosaurus que vive con su madre y sus abuelos, los dinosaurios van camino hacia el Gran Valle para combatir la escasez de comida. Un día Pie Pequeño se consigue a otra dinosaurio con la que no se lleva bien debido a que él es un "cuello largo" y ella un triceratop. A ambos los ataca un tiranosaurio rex que se los intenta comer, pero la mamá de Pie Pequeño va a su rescate resultando herida, pero durante la pelea ocurre un gran terremoto que mata a varios dinosaurios entre ellos el tiranosaurio rex. La mamá de Pie Pequeño está moribunda y le dice a su hijo como llegar al Gran Valle, acotándole que no debe rendirse jamás y que ella siempre lo va a acompañar. A partir de aquí la historia muestra la Aventura de Pie Pequeño para reencontrarse con sus abuelos junto con amigos que va haciendo en el camino, además de enfrentar obstáculos muy difíciles y seguir adelante a pesar de haber perdido a su mamá, la cual le enseñó a mantener la esperanza. Era una película que de niña me gustaba mucho y que tiene un mensaje muy bonito, además de ser conmovedora.
I loved this movie when I was a child and I remember watching it on a national channel in my country. It is from 1988 and produced by Universal Studios, Lucasfilm and Amblin Entertainment, this movie was so successful that a franchise was created. The plot centers on a little apatosaurus who lives with his mother and grandparents, the dinosaurs are on their way to the Great Valley to fight the food shortage. One day Littlefoot gets another dinosaur with whom he doesn't get along because he is a "long neck" and she is a triceratop. They are both attacked by a tyrannosaurus rex that tries to eat them, but Littlefoot's mom goes to his rescue and gets hurt, but during the fight a big earthquake occurs that kills several dinosaurs including the tyrannosaurus rex. Littlefoot's mother is dying and tells her son how to get to the Great Valley, telling him that he must never give up and that she will always be with him. From this point on, the story shows Littlefoot's adventure to meet his grandparents along with friends he makes along the way, as well as facing very difficult obstacles and moving forward despite having lost his mother, who taught him to keep hope. It was a movie that I liked very much as a child and that has a very beautiful message, besides being touching.

Esta película me fascinaba y tenía un VHS con este filme el cual veía bastante. Esta película es del año 1999 producida por Warner Bros y basada en una novela llamada El hombre de hierro de Ted Hughes. La historia esta ambientada en el año 1957 en plena Guerra Fría, mostrando que un objeto desconocido se estrelló cerca de la costa de Maine, para ir a la ciudad de Rockwell. Aquí conocemos a un niño llamado Hogarth el cual se encuentra a un robot gigante intentando comer unas líneas de transmisión, se da cuenta que es un robot amable que no recuerda para qué está hecho, además de que se puede reparar solo de daños que le puedan ocurrir. El niño entabla una linda amistad con el robot y le muestra a su superhéroe favorito en los comics, Superman. Sin embargo todo se ve obstaculizado cuando agente del gobierno estadounidense llamado Kent sospecha de que Hogarth tiene algo entre manos, por lo que el niño le pide a su amigo, el artista Dean, que esconda al robot en su casa. A partir de aquí Hogarth y Dean intentan esconder al Gigante pero Kent es bastante astuto y quiere que el niño confiese que tiene al Gigante con él, amenazándolo de muchas maneras. La película nos muestra como El Gigante de Hierro llega a formar una estrecha relación con el niño, queriéndolo proteger a toda costa, a pesar de las dificultades de sus sistema de defensa que llega a ser peligroso. Es una película que de niña me conmovía mucho y que al verla recientemente, me sigue conmoviendo, es una película que marcó mi infancia.
This movie fascinated me and I had a VHS with this film which I watched a lot. This movie is from 1999 produced by Warner Bros and based on a novel called The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. The story is set in the year 1957 in the middle of the Cold War, showing that an unknown object crashed near the coast of Maine, to go to the town of Rockwell. Here we meet a boy named Hogarth who encounters a giant robot trying to eat some transmission lines, he realizes that it is a friendly robot that does not remember what it is made for, plus it can repair itself from damage that may occur. The boy strikes up a nice friendship with the robot and shows him his favorite comic book superhero, Superman. However, everything is hindered when a U.S. government agent named Kent suspects that Hogarth is up to something, so the boy asks his friend, the artist Dean, to hide the robot in his house. From here Hogarth and Dean try to hide the Giant but Kent is quite cunning and wants the boy to confess that he has the Giant with him, threatening him in many ways. The film shows us how The Iron Giant comes to form a close relationship with the boy, wanting to protect him at all costs, despite the difficulties of his defense system which becomes dangerous. It is a film that moved me a lot as a child and that, having seen it recently, continues to move me.

Esta película la conocí entre los 11 o 12 años un día cuando en la biblioteca de mi colegio la pusieron y quedé encantada. Coraline es una película animada en stop motion del año 2009 basada en una novela homónima de Neil Gaiman. La trama se centra en una niña de 11 años llamada Coraline Jones, la cual se muda con su padres a una nueva ciudad, ella es una niña muy curiosa y al ver que sus padres no le prestan atención debido a que se la pasan ocupados, decide buscar conocer su nuevo hogar por sí misma. Conoce a otro chico llamado Wybie Lovat que se convierte en su nuevo amigo, regalándole más adelante una muñeca muy parecida a ella. Intenta descubrir cosas interesante en el nuevo lugar donde vive, también intenta hacer que sus padres le presten atención pero no lo consigue, llevándola a discusiones con ellos. Sin embargo un día descubre una puerta secreta en su casa, la abre y descubre un túnel que al pasarlo, llega a su casa pero descubre que sus padres son otros, ya que son como ellos pero con ojos de botones además de ser más divertidos que sus padres originales. Esto maravilla a Coraline y piensa quedarse en el Otro Mundo, sin embargo no todo es lo que parece y todo se va convirtiendo en una pesadilla donde Coraline debe escapar de la Otra Madre y salvar a su familia. Esta película es muy buena, cuidando hasta el más mínimo detalle. Tiene un buen guion adaptado, fotografías maravillosas, una banda sonora excelente y la trama es muy buena, cuando la vi de nuevo siendo más grande me encantó mucho más.
I got to know this movie when I was 11 or 12 years old one day when it was shown in my school library and I was enchanted. Coraline is a 2009 stop motion animated film based on a novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman. The plot focuses on an 11 year old girl named Coraline Jones, who moves with her parents to a new city, she is a very curious girl and seeing that her parents do not pay attention to her because they spend their time busy, she decides to seek to know her new home by herself. She meets another boy named Wybie Lovat who becomes her new friend, later giving her a doll that looks just like her. She tries to discover interesting things in the new place where she lives, she also tries to make her parents pay attention to her but she doesn't succeed, leading her to arguments with them. However, one day she discovers a secret door in her house, she opens it and discovers a tunnel that when she goes through it, she arrives home but discovers that her parents are different, since they are like them but with button eyes and they are funnier than her original parents. This amazes Coraline and she thinks to stay in the Other World, however not everything is what it seems and everything turns into a nightmare where Coraline must escape from the Other Mother and save her family. This movie is very good, taking care of even the smallest detail. It has a good adapted script, wonderful photographs, an excellent soundtrack and the plot is very good, when I saw it again when I was older I loved it even more.

Todavía sigue en pie el hecho de que me gustaría que hubiera una segunda parte de Coraline, quedé picada con ese final y todas las teorías de que ella nunca salió de ese mundo 😔
The iron Man es de esas películas que ya no sacan ni ves en estos tiempos donde de verdad te enseñan valores verdaderos y no simples propagandas políticas sin sentido es una película memorable que nunca me cansaré de ver.
In my case I also got to see quite a few animated films on VHS, the ones I liked the most I watched them over and over again almost daily, my favourite was undoubtedly The Jungle Book and Robin Hood.
I also saw The Iron Giant when I was a bit older, it was quite good. As for Coraline, I saw it a lot after its premiere to see what it was like and only because people said it was scary, I also liked it but it wasn't scary to say the least, maybe for a child it was.
