It's been a while since I posted here, but it was that I had not seen any movie that I considered interesting to share with you, just yesterday I found one that really seemed to me that contains the necessary to share with all of you, it is the film of Bob Marley entitled ¨Bob Marley: One Love¨, his real name was Robert Nesta Marley, great Jamaican guitarist, musician and composer, he is considered one of the most important artists of the twentieth century who became a global cultural icon.

Hace un tiempo que no publicaba por acá, pero era que no había visto ninguna película que considerara interesante para compartir con ustedes, recién ayer encontré una que realmente me pareció que contiene lo necesario para compartir con todos ustedes, se trata de la película de Bob Marley titulada ¨Bob Marley: One Love¨, su nombre real era Robert Nesta Marley, gran guitarrista, músico y compositor jamaicano, se le considera uno de los artistas más importantes del siglo XX quien se convirtió en un icono cultural global.

Bob Marley managed to popularize Reggae music outside Jamaica, he was a person very committed to society and of great spirituality, he defended the Rastafarian movement, this film addresses the historical moment that he had to live and how it affected him from all spheres, sentimental, physical and spiritual that led him to try to achieve social equality and love among all people and countries, which he always defended in all his lyrics.
The style of his music and his popularity show in the film how he gradually managed to make people aware of the need for love to prevail and leave behind the inequalities that only generated death and war even among the inhabitants of his own country.

This film was released in Jamaica in January of this year 2024 and in the United States in February.

Bob Marley logró popularizar la música Reggae fuera de Jamaica, él fue una persona muy comprometida con la sociedad y de gran espiritualidad, defendía el movimiento rastafari.
En esta película se aborda el momento histórico que le tocó vivir y cómo lo afectó desde todas las esferas, sentimentales, físicas y espirituales que le llevaron a tratar de lograr la igualdad social y el amor entre todas las personas y países, lo que defendía siempre en todas sus letras.
El estilo de su música y su popularidad muestran en la película cómo él logró poco a poco que las personas concientizaran la necesidad de que primara el amor y dejar un poco atrás las desigualdades que solo generaban muerte y guerra aún entre los propios habitantes de su país.
Esta película se estrenó en Jamaica en enero de este año 2024 y en Estados unidos en febrero.

CONCLUSIONS

I consider, and this is my personal opinion, that this film about the life and work of Bob Marley presents from the beginning the deep love and respect that Bob felt for humanity and especially for his fellow countrymen, which he managed to take to other lands through his compositions and interpretations of reggae, Throughout the film there are very vivid scenarios that reflect the era in a very realistic way and that leads us to reflect on all that can be achieved with music, art and a sincere feeling about universal love in the world society, to achieve peace and brotherhood between countries.

Note: I consider myself a lover of most musical genres, but I confess that Bob Marley's music and lyrics still generate strong emotional and physical sensations in me today.

CONCLUSIONES

Considero, y es mi opinión personal, que esta película sobre la vida y obra de Bob Marley presenta desde sus inicios el profundo amor y respeto que Bob sentía por la humanidad y en especial por sus coterráneos el cual logró llevar a otras tierras a través de sus composiciones e interpretaciones del reggae, durante todo el filme se presentan escenarios muy vívidos que reflejan la época de manera muy realista y que nos lleva a reflexionar sobre todo lo que se puede lograr con la música, el arte y un sentimiento sincero sobre el amor universal en la sociedad mundial, para lograr la paz y hermandad entre países.

Nota: Me considero un amante de la mayoría de los géneros musicales, pero les confieso que la música y letra de Bob Marley aún hoy genera fuertes sensaciones emocionales y físicas en mí.
