Aquaman II The lost Kingdom (Movie Review) [ESP]

Today I want to share criteria and comments with you about a film that captivated me since its first part, and not only for the excellent cast that is presented, but for the quality and beauty of the images presented of the sea, both on the surface and in the depth, I am an inveterate lover of the ocean depths and for that reason the film captivated me much more.

Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Amber Heard as Queen Mera make a performance of excellence, but really the performance of Aquaman's baby is to be admired, the story is more than well achieved between fights, reconciliations and victories over old rivalries.

Hoy quiero compartir criterios y comentarios con ustedes acerca de un filme que me cautivó desde su primera parte, y no solo por el excelente elenco que se presenta, sino por la calidad y belleza de las imágenes presentadas del mar, tanto en la superficie como en la profundidad, yo soy un amante empedernido de las profundidades oceánicas y por esa razón la película me cautivó mucho más.

Jason Momoa cómo Aquaman y Amber Heard como la Reina Mera hacen una interpretación de excelencia, pero realmente la actuación del bebé de Aquaman es de admirar, la historia está más que bien lograda entre peleas, reconciliaciones y victorias ante antiguas rivalidades.

Well what we came to, this is AQUAMAN film of the superhero genre, in its second part, this time it is titled "Aquaman and the lost kingdom", directed by James Wan and produced by Peter Safran, in this staging Aquaman returns to confront evil, but for this he needs to take new strategies that allow him to achieve this goal, he will have to convince the Atlanteans to violate some of their sacred laws to achieve his purpose, one of them will be to free his brother, and to empathize with him for the sake of freedom of Atlantis.

Bueno a lo que vinimos, se trata de AQUAMAN película del género de los superhéroes, en su segunda parte, en esta ocasión se titula "Aquaman y el reino perdido", dirigida por James Wan y producida por Peter Safran, en esta puesta en escena Aquaman vuelve a enfrentar el mal, pero para esto necesita tomar nuevas estrategias que le permitan lograr este objetivo, tendrá que convencer a los atlantes de violar algunas de sus sagradas leyes para lograr su propósito, una de ellas será liberar a su hermano, y lograr empatizar con él en aras de la libertad de Atlantis.

It presents an exceptional work developing the relationship between protagonists and antagonists, showing an Aquaman full of doubts and fears, but maintains his combative fury and heroism in contrast we are shown his arch enemy Black Manta, with the sole objective of destroying at all costs to Aquaman and Atlantis even if this has to destroy the whole world, but this time with superior powers becoming a powerful and relentless threat, these new powers are obtained from the evil king of the ancient lost kingdom, which allows him to infiltrate the city of Atlantis and cause great damage to its inhabitants, presenting a technology that reminds us of the one presented in the film "The Matrix", but that does not detract from the colorfulness of the film in question, In this case, he discovers that what will free his master is the blood of Aquaman and from that moment on he does the impossible to obtain it, for which he kidnaps Aquaman's little son, and it is there where the action becomes more intense to recover the little one safe and sound, and it is precisely where the filial ties are intertwined with even more strength.

Se presenta un trabajo excepcional desarrollando la relación entre personajes protagonistas y antagonistas, mostrando a un Aquaman lleno de dudas y temores, pero que mantiene su furia combativa y su heroísmo en contraposición se nos muestra a su archiconocido enemigo Black Manta, con el único objetivo de destruir a toda costa a Aquaman y a Atlantis aunque para esto tenga que destruir al mundo entero, pero esta vez con poderes superiores convirtiéndose en una poderosa e implacable amenaza, estos nuevos poderes los obtiene del rey malvado del antiguo reino perdido, lo que le permite infiltrar a la ciudad de Atlantis y ocasionar grandes daños a sus habitantes, presentando una tecnología que nos recuerda la presentada en el filme "The Matrix", pero que no le restan colorido a la película en cuestión, en este caso el mismo descubre que lo liberará a su amo es la sangre de Aquaman y a partir de ese momento hace lo imposible por obtenerla para lo que rapta al pequeño hijo de Aquaman y es allí donde la acción se pone más intensa para lograr recuperar sano y salvo al pequeño y es precisamente donde los lazos filiales se entrelazan con más fuerza aún.

The film develops with a very intense action from the beginning to the end, achieving an intense atmosphere of tension and expectations, full of great battles on the surface and underwater as well, with visual effects worthy of admiring all the time and that in some moments the technology used reminds us of some of the machines of "The Matrix", but that does not detract from the greatness of the film.

La película se desarrolla con una acción muy intensa desde el principio hasta el final, logrando un intenso ambiente de tensión y expectativas, llena de grandes batallas en superficie y submarinas también, con unos efectos visuales dignos de admirar todo el tiempo y que en algunos momentos la tecnología utilizada nos recuerda a algunas de las máquinas de "The Matrix", pero eso no le resta grandeza al filme.

To achieve the rescue of his brother, Aquaman is presented with a new actor, this time a Cephalopod (Otopo) who plays the role of an Atlantean-trained intelligence agent, but acting precisely as any real trained animal would, which makes his performance unique within the film.

Para lograr el rescate de su hermano, Aquaman se presenta con un nuevo actor, esta vez un Cefalópodo (Otopo) que interpreta el papel de un agente de inteligencia de entrenado por los atlantes, pero actuando precisamente como lo haría cualquier animal real entrenado, lo que hace de su interpretación algo único dentro del filme.

A super cool scene is when Aquaman manages to convince his brother, the former king, to eat a cockroach telling him that it was a great delicacy of the earth and his brother in his ignorance about food issues of the surface and due to the hunger they had product of the time they had not eaten, ingests a large cockroach and finds it very tasty hehehehe, it is certainly one of the scenes that I liked most of the film.

Una escena supergenial es cuando Aquaman logra convencer a su hermano, el antiguo rey, de que se comiera una cucaracha diciéndole que eso era un gran manjar de la tierra y su hermano en su ignorancia sobre temas alimenticios de la superficie y debido al hambre que tenían producto del tiempo que llevaban sin comer, ingiere una gran cucaracha y la encuentra muy sabroza jejejej, sin duda es una de las escenas que más me gustó del filme.

Personal considerations

I consider that a great job was done in recreating the underwater world with visual effects that captivate you from the beginning of the film, the incorporation of real marine biology to the design of the cities of Atlantis was great, as well as the presentation of its inhabitants and their daily customs.

It can be said that in this new staging of a superhero film, Aquaman stands out for a unique visual style, with those incredible underwater fights with a quality that makes you think that they are really happening, Momoa's performance really enriches the quality of the film, as it intermingles the fury of the warrior, with the tenderness of the father and the filial love between brothers, all this to give a unique flavor to the interpretive quality of each of the scenes presented.

The tenacity and will of the protagonist allows him, at last, after a hard work between fights and pranks, to recover the love of his brother, who proves that he is a sincere man who only wants the development of the welfare of his people, both underwater and on the surface.

Consideraciones personales

Considero que se realizó un gran trabajo en recrear el mundo submarino con unos efectos visuales que te cautivan desde que comienza la película, la incorporación de la biología marina real al diseño de las ciudades de Atlantis quedó genial, al igual que la presentación de sus habitantes y sus costumbres diarias.

Se puede decir que en esta nueva puesta en escena de un filme de superhéroes, Aquaman se destaca por un estilo visual único, con esas increíbles peleas bajo el agua con una calidad que hacen pensar que realmente se están produciendo, la actuación de Momoa realmente enriquece la calidad del filme, ya que se entremezcla la furia del guerrero, con la ternura del padre y el amor filiar entre hermanos, todo esto para darle un sabor único a la calidad interpretativa de cada una de las escenas presentadas.

El tesón y voluntad del protagonista le permite, al fin, después de un arduo trabajo entre peleas y travesuras, recuperar el amor de su hermano, que comprueba que él es un hombre sincero que solo quiere el desarrollo de bienestar de su pueblo, tanto el submarino como el de la superficie.

Throughout the film, there are many humorous moments that make the audience empathize not only with the film, but also with each of the characters presented in each of them.

But I think the genius of the film is precisely in the message that is transmitted at the end, where at last the Atlanteans and humans begin to accept each other as different species, but that can fraternize on the same planet common to all.

Durante toda la puesta en escena se presentan muchos momentos de humor que hacen que el público empatice muchísimo no solo con la película, sino también con cada uno de los personajes que se presentan en cada una de ellas.

Pero creo que la genialidad del filme está precisamente en el mensaje que se transmite al final, donde al fin los atlantes y los humanos comienzan a aceptarse como especies diferentes, pero que pueden confraternizar en un mismo planeta común para todos.

In conclusion, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is a film with excellent visuals and an exciting story that holds the viewer's interest from start to finish, its character development and stellar acting by the leads and antagonists make it a memorable film and a valuable contribution to the superhero franchise, I recommend watching it without fail.

En conclusión, Aquaman y el Reino Perdido es una película con excelente visualización y una historia emocionante que mantiene el interés del espectador desde el principio hasta el final, su desarrollo de personajes y la actuación estelar de los protagonistas y antagonistas hacen que sea una película memorable y una contribución valiosa a la franquicia de superhéroes, recomiendo que la vean sin falta.
