A Young Doctor's Notebook review, an amazing Daniel Radcliffe with a morphine problem ( Eng/Esp)

Since I'm at home with a fever today after having satisfied my husband and daughter at the table with some excellent burgers (you can find them in my profile with many other recipes) I decided to start watching something set in a cool place against the terrible heat that instead afflicts. This series with the great Daniel Radcliffe is based on a book by Mikhail Bulgakov, the series tells of a young doctor who is sent to an isolated imaginary country in the coldest Russia, where there is only snow, ignorant peasants and his strange colleagues. Vladimir the doctor has a strange peculiarity when he talks to his future self, as soon as he arrives in the remote hospital he is a naive young man who is immediately put to the test by his colleagues who don't take him seriously and the farmers who rely on temporary treatments not trusting the diagnoses carefully of the newly graduated doctor, his monologue with himself as an adult becomes more intense from episode to episode, little by little thanks to his advice he manages to endear himself to colleagues and inhabitants, who begin to appreciate his skills but soon a monster of name morphine will begin to eat away at his head and his career, the advice of his future self who has lost everything to that terrible drug will be of no avail (let us remember, however, that at the time it was legal and was not believed to be addictive), since the young doctor tries morphine convinced he can control it, his life will become a spiral of dependence and pain but also of loneliness filled with the only available woman and of boredom due to the austere place where he lives. The series is very well done and perfectly describes the addiction cycle but despite the strong and dark themes the series has something joyful and sarcastic about it, one could say a Dramedy genre, there will be very dark moments addressed in a funny way and other very light ones and funny, some at times grotesque. A very enjoyable series in a cold setting with short episodes and two seasons that can be watched in one day. I highly recommend it for me rating 9! Then there's Radcliffe who obviously makes everything better and doesn't fail to show off his acting skills and versatility.

Esta serie con el gran Daniel Radcliffe está basada en un libro de Mikhail Bulgakov, la serie habla de un joven médico que es enviado a un país imaginario aislado en la Rusia más fría, donde solo hay nieve, campesinos ignorantes y sus extraños colegas. La serie está muy bien hecha y describe perfectamente el ciclo de la adicción pero a pesar de los temas fuertes y oscuros la serie tiene algo alegre y sarcástico, se podría decir un género Dramedy, habrá momentos muy oscuros abordados de manera divertida y otros muy ligeros y divertidos, algunos a veces grotescos. Una serie muy divertida en una ambientación fría con episodios cortos y dos temporadas que se pueden ver en un día. ¡Lo recomiendo mucho para mí con una calificación de 9! Luego está Radcliffe, quien obviamente hace que todo sea mejor y no deja de mostrar sus habilidades de actuación y su versatilidad.
