Major Plot Flaw in the Movie KAOS (No Spoiler)

This new series KAOS, starring Jeff Goldblum, is the bomb!

It was just released on August 29, this year, and it's a great recommendation for you to watch. It's a must-watch, if you ask me.

The plot and setting is just pure fire! The idea of bringing the Greek myths and religion to the modern world, seeing some of the gods and characters from Greek mythology 🔱, the way the story screws with them and the comedy from them is just rapturous.

I'm a big fan of Greek Mythology, I even called myself Son of Aphrodite, and wanted to start an animation enterprise:

So based on this bias, this series, it's setting and premise can almost do no wrong in my eyes, but...

The Major Plot Flaw

But alas, I'm too logical to not see and talk about the plot flaw I noticed in this movie.

The plot flaw is about "The Frame" and the "Meander water".

The Meander Water is some water the gods drink to stay immortal. In the movie this water comes from harvested human souls.

Zeus killed his tyranic father and the titans, so that he and his siblings can take over the rulership and become gods. And when he killed his father he absorbed his father's soul and it made him more powerful.

He craved the feeling so he started killing more people and absorbing their souls, but then the killings were too much and a better means of absorbing souls was invented.

The better means? He simply created something called The Frame. When humans die and go to the underworld, they pass through The Frame.

Everyone thinks passing through means you would be renewed/reincarnated, but it's a lie. Instead your soul would be harvested and turned into Meander water so that Zeus and other gods can drink it, stay immortal, and feel powerful.

Now, the plot flaw is, if the gods weren't drinking this until Zeus killed his father, went on a killing spree, and came up with this better way to harvest souls, then what were the gods doing to stay immortal before?

How were they immortal?

How did Zeus's father and the Titans stay immortal long before this process?

How did the gods stay immortal while Zeus was on his killing spree?

You understand?

So, how come this water is now so important when everyone was doing fine (and having the things this water is supposed to give) for thousands of years without it?

That's a huge plot flaw, and I can't believe the makers of this movie didn't see it or explain it away some way somehow. Especially with how important this water was considered to be.

Conclusion

For those who have watched the movie, did you see this plot flaw or am I just bringing your attention to it?

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but sadly logic had to come for it's pound of flesh. Lol.

It would be nice if someone takes me up on all my tough talk about logic and try to find a plot flaw in my book Professor Otagburuagu. I'll really love to see that. Lol.

Heheheh. The show is really worth it. Especially if you like Greek mythology. It's also a great mix of seriousness and comedy.
