Huge Major Plot Flaw in the Movie Ambulance (2022)
The movie Ambulance (2022) was recently added to Netflix and that was how I got to watch it.
The action, depiction, and acting were good, and the story would have been great too, if not for this huge flaw.
This flaw was so huge it ruined all the hard work and every effort put into the movie. And if you watch the movie you can see the effort and see they did a lot of things right. If not for this freaking flaw!
The Flaw
The story is about a bank robbery gone wrong. All the robbers died apart from two, and these two escaped in an ambulance with an injured cop and an EMT.
The greater part of the movie which is supposed to be the most action/suspense-filled and the most entertaining part of the movie is the chase.
As they make away with the ambulance the police chase them with helicopters, cars, and what have you. This was supposed to be the most entertaining part. But it is ruined because how is it possible that the robbers have two hostages, an injured cop and an EMT and they couldn't do the obvious thing we see in hostage movies?
The obvious thing which is to make a strong deal with the cops. A simple deal of do not follow us or we kill the hostages. We do not want to see a car or helicopter or sniper, nothing! If we as much as sight any of your men we'll kill the hostages.
Very simple deal! Yet this movie had these guys with two hostages in the van and they were only focused on running away till the end - a very long time!
They told the police not to come near or they'd kill a hostage a few times but they were never serious about it and they never cared about making the deal strong or trying to make the police keep to it. What crap?
And it's not like the robbers were two ignorant guys who didn't know what an advantage was. They were well-trained guys with a truckload of experience. One of them was an ex-marine with a great load of tactical experience, and the other was a career robber brought up by his dad who was also a career robber.
His dad even sent him to the FBI academy (or something of the sort) to train with FBI agents just so he could learn their tricks and be better at robbery.
And none of these guys could say "Don't come or we'll kill a hostage"?
Yet this is something we see in every hostage movie ever conceived. The bad guys always do this, so why didn't they do this in this movie?
Instead, they let the police chase them for so long, that they went through hell and even had to make a deal with a cartel boss for half the loot. What in the hell?
This was so sad to watch. It's sad how millions of dollars can be involved in a project but it would still have obvious childish mistakes like these. Millions of dollars are supposed to get you the best brains.
Brains like mine 🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚
End.
Meanwhile, I'll still like to see if anyone can find a plot flaw in my novel, published by Danish publisher Jabopress:
Hi there, my novella Professor Otagburuagu just got published. It promises to be thoroughly entertaining and intellectually stimulating. Written by myself and illustrated by Scandinavian artist @katharsisdrill. You can get it from me for just 4 HBD.
You can also order the hard copy from anywhere in the world via this link:

Thank you!
That last part for me, though. Okay, braniac.😄
But yeah, I get your point about such a flaw. You shouldn't have talked about them being highly skilled if they didn't know the very basic things. Nice movie recommendation. Will not be adding to watchlist, lol.
LOL. I'm sure so many people watched it and enjoyed it without realizing the stuff I realized here, that's where the brains come in 🌚🌚🌚.
Thanks for dropping by 👌🏾
Haha. The obvious mistakes film makers make never cease to amuse me. Nicely reviewed. Thanks for sharing!
It's mind boggling sometimes 😅. You're welcome, and thanks 🙂.
