Sweet Home: Season 3 – Mutation is a Failure | Series Review [En-Es]
The world will never be what it once was. The tenacity of a single person prevails even though everything has turned to dust. The question of the third season of Sweet Home is: Can monsters and humans coexist?

Many people don't like Sweet Home, the series does indeed have a lot of ravings; but it is a production that stands out because of Song Kang's leading role and performance. I have to say that the show is not phenomenal, but it does have a point that makes you want to know what will happen. I've reiterated that in previous reviews of the first and second seasons. That's why I watched this latest season on Netflix of 8 episodes. My previous reviews: Season 1 - Season 2.
In this one, the plot center took several turns. The first one that stands out is human depravity. A monster can kill, but humans become emotionally hostile. That emotion triggers their inability to protect themselves, and, moreover, they end up becoming monsters. According to the revealed facts of the series, the reason this transformation occurs is because of negative emotions.
One thing I found interesting is that Cha Hyun-su (Song Kang) is shown to be more mature and tolerant. It's an aspect that has turned around radically, as he had a docile personality in the beginning. At the same time, also the split personality because of Cha Hyun-su's inner monster is someone who is uncontrollable.
The third season does not go beyond what has been seen—simple, empty and without a clear reason why the world has been destroyed. The storyline is repetitive and defines nothing new. Among the three seasons, the third is unnecessary. In a way, the series could have been compacted with two seasons and without so many characters that, in effect, had no importance whatsoever. You notice this after you get to the final part.
A muchas personas no les gusta Sweet Home, la serie en efecto posee muchos desvaríos; pero es una producción que destaca por el protagónico y la actuación de Song Kang. Particularmente debo decir que la serie no es fenomenal, sin embargo, tiene un punto que hace querer saber qué pasará. Eso lo he reiterado en las reseñas anteriores de la primera y segunda temporada. Por eso vi esta última temporada en Netflix de 8 episodios. Mis reseñas anteriores: Season 1 - Season 2.
En éste caso, el centro de argumentación dio varios giros. El primero que destaca es la depravación humana, un monstruo puede matar, pero los humanos se vuelven hostiles emocionalmente. Esa emoción desencadena que no se puedan proteger y, además, que terminen convirtiéndose en un monstruo. Según los hechos revelados de la serie, la razón en que ocurre esta transformación es por las emociones negativas.
Algo que me pareció interesante es que muestran a Cha Hyun-su (Song Kang) más maduro y tolerante. Es un aspecto que ha girado radicalmente, ya que él al principio tenía una personalidad dócil. Al mismo tiempo, también la doble personalidad por el monstruo interior de Cha Hyun-su es alguien que es incontrolable.
La tercera temporada no va más allá de lo que se ha visto, simple, vacía y sin una razón clara de por qué el mundo ha sido destruido. La argumentación es repetida y no define nada nuevo. Entre las tres temporadas, la tercera es innecesaria. A modo de ver, la serie se pudo compactar con dos temporadas y sin tantos personajes que, en efecto, no tenían ningún tipo de importancia. Esto lo notas después de llegar a la parte final.

Igualmente, la tercera temporada de la serie incorpora un nuevo elemento; es decir, un neohumano. Éste neohumano era en principio un ser humano que se convirtió en monstruo y luego mutó y se convirtió en un ser transcendental que ha perdido sus emociones y posee algún tipo de poder sobrenatural. Es un aspecto técnicamente diferente, pero que no termina de definir la razón del colapso del mundo.
El enfoque de esta tercera temporada fue definido por el valor de cada ser humano, resalté al principio la depravación humana. Muerte y asesinato entre unos y otros. El desprecio también hacia los humanos que han mutado también es un enfoque central en la serie, sin embargo, no es lo suficiente fuerte.
I didn't like that the series stayed in the same place where it closed in the second season, it has no logic. Also, it got boring, as absolutely nothing changed.
Something I must also point out is that there are a lot of unnecessary scenes. Each of these scenes made the third season longer and above all it lost definition.
No me gustó que la serie se mantuviera en el mismo lugar donde cerró en la segunda temporada, no posee lógica. Además, se volvió aburrido, ya que no cambió absolutamente nada.
Algo que también debo resaltar es que hay muchas escenas innecesarias. Cada una de esas escenas hicieron que la tercera temporada se volviera más larga y sobre todo perdiera definición.
Song Kang does a fantastic job, but the third season of the series has a poor script. So poor that it doesn't go beyond what has been visualized. Moreover, it follows the same intertwined cycle as some characters.
There is also a poor job in the development of the characters that did not grow emotionally, this is the case of Lee Eun-yu (Go Min-si) and Pyeon Sang-wook (Lee Jin-wook). These two important characters had no growth at all in the 8 episodes of the third season, but rather, they deconstructed themselves little by little. Instead of solidifying their personalities, the decline made them unbearable to endure.
The message of the third season is confusing. On the one hand, it tells you that humans can live with monsters and that they will all change eventually, while on the other hand, emotional sensitivity is lost, no matter why or what. It is only worth protecting oneself. It's not a solid message, the third season, being a closure, should solidly answer all the doubts and try to bounce back among the viewers.
Sweet Home: Season 3 was disappointing. So sad to watch and empty. There was nothing different, plus there was a desire to cling to something that doesn't exist. I watched the series again because Song Kang is one of the best South Korean actors. You can watch the third season of the series, but you will be disappointed in many ways.
Song Kang hace un trabajo fantástico, pero la tercera temporada de la serie posee un guion pobre. Tan pobre que no va más allá de lo que se ha visualizado. Además, sigue el mismo ciclo entrelazado con algunos personajes.
También hay un mal trabajo en el desarrollo de los personajes que no crecieron emocionalmente, este es el caso de Lee Eun-yu (Go Min-si) y Pyeon Sang-wook (Lee Jin-wook). Estos dos personajes tan importantes en la trama no tuvieron ningún tipo de crecimiento en los 8 episodios de ésta tercera temporada, más bien, se deconstruyeron poco a poco. En vez de solidificar su personalidad, el declive hizo insoportable soportarlos.
El mensaje de la tercera temporada es confuso. Por una parte, te indica que los seres humanos pueden convivir con monstruos y que todos cambiaran eventualmente, mientras que por la otra se pierde la sensibilidad emotiva, no importa por qué o para qué. Solamente vale la pena protegerse a sí mismo. Nos es un mensaje sólido, la tercera temporada, al ser un cierre, debería responder sólidamente a todas las dudas y tratar de remontar entre los espectadores.
Sweet Home: Season 3 fue decepcionante. Tan triste de ver y vacía. No había nada diferente, además existía un deseo por aferrarse a algo que no existe. Vi la serie nuevamente porque Song Kang es uno de los mejores actores surcoreanos. Puedes ver la tercera temporada de la serie, pero saldrás decepcionado en muchos aspectos.

Con sweet home tengo sentimientos encontrados, la primera temporada 10/10 pero después vino decayendo y alejándose bastante del webtoon, el cual me lo leí y por dios, si cambiaron muchas cosas drásticamente. Yo no entiendo como dicen que le gusto la química entre Song Kang y la actriz principal, no lo vi así, o, más bien será porque leí el webtoon que sé que con ella no era la relación. 😕
With sweet home I have mixed feelings, the first season 10/10 but then it came declining and moving away from the webtoon, which I read it and by god, if they changed many things drastically. I don't understand how they say they liked the chemistry between Song Kang and the main actress, I didn't see it like that, or, rather it will be because I read the webtoon that I know that with her it wasn't the relationship. 😕
La verdad que la primera temporada tuvo vacíos, la segunda decayó, pero la tercera es un caótico guion. Se aleja de muchas cosas y no responde a lo principal. Tampoco hay una respuesta única al virus. No hay ningún tipo de química... Solo hay una buena actuación de Song.
