La película crea un panorama donde deja a un lado la legalidad, el compromiso, el juramento, lo ético y moral para apegarse en la emocionalidad. En el film resalta el valor que tiene una madre de donar un embrión, y también de volver a entregar a la familia que decidió darle vida cuando es adulta.

La escena de revelación de éste proceso entre la familia y la hija que se entera de la verdad por un desconocido fue igual que otras películas comunes. Una explosión de emociones que no se pueden separar y razonar objetivamente.

La objetividad humana es algo que muchas personas obvian en los momentos más difíciles; aun cuando está en riesgo la vida que se conoce. La trama juega con el cliché de todos los films románticos; pero conecta con el espectador.

Hay algunas escenas innecesarias y poco creíbles, pero es lo suficiente compacta para causar una posición clara sobre su dirección. Una de las cosas que me gustó fue que el protagonista era arquitecto (eso resalta preponderantemente).

Éste es uno de los recientes estrenos de Leonardo Padron en Netflix, una serie que relata un hecho que puede ocurrir por un homicidio de culpabilidad. Es interesante porque el argumento central resulta en la muerte de un grupo de niños inocentes en la celebración de cumpleaños de uno de ellos.

¿Lo atípico? Es que fue causado por un brincolin inflable que se elevó debido a una corriente de aire natural. El contexto de la trama se relata muy bien bajo esa perspectiva, pero a medida que avanza la serie, se visualiza un conjunto de artimañas y desemboca en un homicidio culposo de manera inequívoca.

Si no sabes que es un homicidio culposo, éste se puede consumar por impericia, inobservancia o negligencia. En éste caso hubo inobservancia por parte de uno de los protagonistas y debido a ello ocurrió el hecho fatídico.

La trama de la serie juega con las emociones del protagonista, si debe o no entregarse a la policía y si debe seguir con sus negocios. En la serie hay una situación que provoca que el protagonista éste atado a no revelar la verdad.

La serie sigue el juego de las telenovelas latinas; el narcotráfico también hace presencia y muestra la peor versión del continente. Destaco las vistas de los paisajes naturales de México en la serie. Para mí es una producción que destaca, pero no es impresionante.

Por un lado, Someone Like You fija una posición clara sobre el amor hacia los padres y el perdón por una verdad oculta. En el caso de The Accident envía un mensaje claro: Todos somos responsables de nuestros actos; ya sea por acción u omisión. Nadie puede escapar de su propio accionar.
