Bleach is back with a new season, and the most surprising of all is the handling of the manga's storyline in its adaptation. Although the return of the anime last year surprised fans and even me, this second season of Thousand - Year Blood War had me intrigued, that is, I had doubts if it would be as good as the first one and cause the same euphoria. Some time ago, I wrote about my expectations and the first season.

The invasion of the Seireitei (society of souls) has caused a set of upheavals, and every single secret that dominates the history of the world has been revealed in this arc. I am referring to the universe created by Tite Kubo. According to the plot, this universe is divided into the world of humans, the Seireitei, and the Wekomundo (Hollow World). I don't know where Jigoku (Hell) is, this plot doesn't make it clear if the power of the Spirit King reaches this realm of transcendence, but the scenario of this season focuses on the hegemonic power over the first three.

The most outstanding battles in this season were Rukia Kuchiki's, and the reason is simple: her Bankai Hakka on Togame. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful after the one performed by Captain Tōshirō Hitsugaya: Daiguren Hyorinmaru. This Bankai is the one I want to see the most, but unfortunately, it will be in 2024 in the third season.

Bleach regresó con una nueva temporada y lo más sorprendente de todo es el manejo de la argumentación del manga en su adaptación. A pesar de que el regreso del anime el año pasado sorprendió a los fans e incluso a mí, ésta segunda temporada de Thousand - Year Blood War me tenía intrigado, es decir, tenía dudas si sería tan buena como la primera y causaría la misma euforia. Hace un tiempo escribí sobre mis expectativas y la primera temporada.

La invasión del Seireitei (sociedad de almas) ha causado un conjunto de revuelos y se han revelado en este arco cada uno de los secretos que dominan la historia del mundo. Me refiero al universo creado por Tite Kubo. Según la trama, éste universo está dividido en el mundo de los humanos, el Seireitei y Wekomundo (Hueco Mundo). No sé dónde queda el Jigoku (infierno), esta trama no deja claro si el poder del Rey espíritu llega a este reino de transcendencia, pero el escenario de esta temporada se centra en el poder hegemónico sobre los tres primeros.

Las batallas más destacadas en esta temporada fueron la de Rukia Kuchiki, la razón es simple: su Bankai Hakka no Togame. A mi modo de ver, es uno de los más hermosos luego del que efectúa el capitán Tōshirō Hitsugaya: Daiguren Hyorinmaru. Éste Bankai es el que más deseo ver, pero lamentablemente será en 2024 en la tercera temporada.

Rukia's Bankai is exquisite, dangerous, and powerful. Watching her say Bankai was delightful, and the scenes themselves were very well crafted. In the plot, one of the saddest parts was that of Captain Sajin Komamura, who, mowed down by revenge, lost his reason and his powers at the hands of the patriarch of his clan. The Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō Dangai Joue implemented by Sajin is amazing, but at the same time, it turns to dust quickly.

In this season, I didn't like the "Opening". It was very poorly worked, it looks very childish and is not at all adapted to the reality of the season. I even thought, when I watched it, that the anime would have filler. It gave me chills every time I had to play it or fast-forward it. It was definitely a bad strategy.

This season was characterized as being a bit slow, not so fast and not so shocking either. Of course, each part is very well-connected and developed. The work behind it is noticeable; however, there were gaps or dialogues that, in my opinion, should have been thoroughly discarded. This would have caused more emotion.

El Bankai de Rukia es exquisito, peligroso y a la vez potente. Verla decir Bankai fue encantador, y las escenas en sí mismas fueron muy bien trabajadas. En la trama, una de las partes más tristes fue la del capitán Sajin Komamura, qué segado por la venganza perdió la razón y sus poderes en manos del patriarca de su clan. El Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō Dangai Joue implementado por Sajin es increíble, pero al mismo tiempo se vuelve polvo rápidamente.

En esta temporada no me gusto el “Opening”. Fue muy poco trabajado, se ve muy infantil y para nada adaptado a la realidad de la temporada. Incluso pensé, al verlo, que el anime tendría relleno. Me daba escalofríos cada vez que tenía que reproducirlo o adelantarlo. Fue sin lugar a dudas una mala estrategia.

Esta temporada se caracterizó por ser un poco lenta, no tan rápida y tampoco tan impactante. Claro, cada parte se encuentra muy bien conectada y desarrollada. El trabajo detrás se nota a leguas; sin embargo, hubo vacíos o diálogos que debieron, a mi modo de ver, desechado a fondo. Esto hubiera causado más emoción.

Another exciting moment in the story was when Captain Kenpachi Zaraki summoned his Shikai Nozarashi. The only thing is that we wouldn't get to see his funny little lieutenant, Yachiru Kusajishi, anymore. I liked the fight, the dimensioning, and how they focused on Zaraki's battle scenes with quincy Gremmy Thoumeaux. A blast!

I liked Lieutenant Renji Abarai's entrance and Byakuya Kuchiki's entrance after training at the Spirit King's palace. These scenes in particular were very exciting because they came back stronger, even though the story didn't show much of it. In my speculations, I thought it would open up a bit of a bigger denouement and show the in-depth effect of the growth of most of the captains, but it didn't happen. The plot followed the anime, and there was no filler. This season of 13 episodes was not the same as the previous one, and this poured into what Tite drew and wrote in the manga originally. To my way of thinking, it is a tie-in season.

When Ichigo returned to the Seireitei of the Spirit King's palace, his reiatsu was gigantic, the most incredible thing is the power he now possesses. I hope the plot will show every single thing that was not shown in the manga regarding the powers of his greenish Bankai and power. We will have to keep waiting.

Otro momento emocionante en la historia fue ver cuando el capitán Kenpachi Zaraki invocó su Shikai Nozarashi. Lo único es que ya no podríamos ver más a su pequeña y divertida teniente Yachiru Kusajishi. Me gustó la pelea y el dimensionamiento, cómo se enfocaron en las escenas de la batalla de Zaraki con el quincy Gremmy Thoumeaux. ¡Una pasada!

Me gustó la entrada del teniente Renji Abarai y la de Byakuya Kuchiki luego de entrenar en el palacio del Rey Espíritu. Estas escenas en lo particular fueron muy emocionantes porqué ellos regresaron siendo más fuertes; aunque la historia no mostró mucho de ello. En mis especulaciones pensé que abría un poco de mayor desenlace y mostrarían en profundidad el crecimiento de la mayoría de capitanes, pero no fue así. La trama siguió el anime y no hubo relleno. Esta temporada de 13 episodios no fue igual a la anterior, y la razón esta vertida en lo que Tite dibujo y escribió en el manga originalmente. A mi modo de ver es una temporada de enlace.

Cuando Ichigo regresó al Seireitei del palacio del Rey Espíritu, su reiatsu era gigantesco, lo más increíble es el poder que ahora posee. Espero que la trama muestre cada una de las cosas que no se mostraron en el manga respecto a los poderes de su verdeado Bankai y poder. Habrá que seguir esperando.

Ichigo's entry was memorable in the war, but it didn't have the greatest relevance. It was very much downplayed.

The most shocking part goes to Ōzokutokumu (Division 0) and, in this particular case, Ichibē Hyōsube. His battle against Yhwach is shocking, but the most incredible thing is how he uses Ichimonji in this fight. Of course, to that I must also add his mastery of Hohō, Kidō, Zanjutsu and Hakuda.

The adaptation of the Bakudō 62, Hyapporankan is amazing. That scene in the anime blew my mind. This is the best fight of this season. My highest praise goes to the part where Ichibē Hyōsube says Shin'uchi: Shirafude Ichimonji. When this happened, it marked a before and after in the battle against Yhwach.

Something I noticed, and which is significant, is Ichibē's power to use the limbs of the Spirit King. This part in the manga made me doubt, but I indeed confirmed it with the anime, and I understood a bit why the god of the Bleach universe was isolated in a palace, didn't speak, and was just a piece of meat.

This season is loaded with several interesting things, such as the true name of Renji's Bankai. In an anime endowed with one battle after another, no one will come out unscathed, and everyone has a lot to lose while the blood of thousands of Shinigami is spilled at the hands of the Quincys of the Wandenreich.

Can the Seireitei be saved from destruction? How many Gotei 13 captains will die? What is the Spirit King really like? Who is the enemy that Ichigo must now also defeat? Experience a story dominated by Getsuga Tenshou. Rating 9/10. I'll read you in the comments.

La entrada de Ichigo fue memorable en la guerra, pero no tuvo la mayor relevancia. Fue muy minimizada.

La parte más impactante se la lleva Ōzokutokumu (División 0), y en este caso particular, Ichibē Hyōsube. La batalla de él contra Yhwach es impactante, pero lo más increíble es como utiliza el Ichimonji en esta pelea. Claro, a eso también debo agregarle su dominio del Hohō, Kidō, Zanjutsu y Hakuda.

La adaptación del Bakudō 62, Hyapporankan es increíble. Esa escena en el anime me dejó perplejo. Esta es la mejor pelea de esta temporada. Mis mejores alabanzas se la llevan la parte donde Ichibē Hyōsube dice Shin'uchi: Shirafude Ichimonji. Cuando esto ocurrió se marcó un antes y un después en la batalla contra Yhwach.

Algo que noté y que es significativo, es la potestad de Ichibē de usar las extremidades del Rey Espíritu. Esta parte en el manga me hacía dudar, pero en efecto la confirmé con el anime, y comprendí un poco por qué el dios del universo de Bleach estaba aislado en un palacio, no hablaba y solo era un trozo de carne.

Esta temporada está cargada de varias cosas interesantes, como es el caso del verdadero nombre del Bankai de Renji. Un anime dotado de una batalla tras otra, nadie saldrá ileso y todos tienen mucho que perder, mientras que la sangre de miles de Shinigamis es derramada en manos de los Quincys del Wandenreich.

¿Podrá el Seireitei salvarse de la destrucción? ¿Cuántos capitanes del Gotei 13 morirán? ¿Qué es realmente el Rey Espíritu? ¿Quién es el enemigo que ahora debe también vencer Ichigo? Vive una historia dominada por Getsuga Tenshou. Calificación 9/10. Te leo en los comentarios.
