Welcome to a new review dear members of the community, how are you today? I'm pretty good, today I had a pretty quiet day that I really needed and I decided to watch a movie that my brother recommended me a few weeks ago and he has been insisting me since then and honestly I was not very interested in the plot, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and here I am after having finished it to tell you how I liked it, so today I want to tell you about the movie called "Dream".

This Korean movie released on April 26, 2023 has a very interesting plot that I can summarize in a very simple way: After a soccer player was in the center of a controversy that ended up affecting his reputation, his work team considers that the only solution is to accept a job that can clean his image, so he ends up accepting a mandatory way to train a team of homeless people who will participate in a soccer tournament while the whole process is documented to show a better image of the player and thus improve his reputation.
The movie starts with a professional soccer game, where our protagonist Yoon Hong-dae who minutes before the game started in an interview was asked a question about his runaway mother which broke his concentration, so when he was in the game he exploded competing against one of his own teammates which caused them to lose the game (or at least that's what I interpreted because they don't really make it clear). When they leave the stadium there are many reporters, among them the same one who asked him the question about his mother and he makes a similar comment again, this is when Yoon Hong-dae attacks him by stinging his eyes with his fingers.

Clearly that action generated a lot of controversy for being a unique form of aggression, so there are many articles and news talking about what happened and giving him a bad reputation, so after devising a plan to give some kind of show to Yoon Hong-dae, his manager decides that he should be the coach of a soccer team made up of homeless people who will be the representatives of South Korea in a soccer tournament with other countries, Yoon Hong-dae does not accept, but still his decision is not taken into account and ends up being forced anyway.

We also meet Lee So-min, an aspiring production manager who will be in charge of making a documentary about the team to show the public that Yoon Hong-dae is a good person and boost his reputation again. So begins Yoon Hong-dae's journey with the most fake attitude they can see trying to give a good image of himself and showing himself as someone who is really doing things selflessly. So after a tryout, they select the members of the team that will represent Korea in 2 months and whom he must train, taking into account that none of them can play soccer, will he succeed?

I want to start my opinion talking about the story and I think it is important that it is in 3 points, the first is that the story in general is not relatively something new, similar movies have already been seen and that was the reason why I was not very interested in watching it, plus I do not like soccer either, but point two was what made me continue watching it, is that although the main plot is about soccer, there are really some secondary stories with each of the characters that allow us to know them better and that is what I consider that really takes the strong impact of the whole story and what really conquered me and this connects with point 3 which is nothing more than the great development that is obtained by putting together the three points, making a very complete, enjoyable and I would say also memorable story.

The secondary characters I would say that they are everything in the film, I even consider that they shine more than the protagonist, but with this I do not mean that the protagonist is not important, on the contrary, I would say that the brightness even of the protagonist depends on the secondary characters and it is a very good way to maintain a balance between the two, I would say that each one fulfills its job perfectly and they do not stand out more than others nor are they overshadowed by others either.
I found it amazing how much you can get so much into a story like this and you really end up understanding many of the circumstances of the characters and this makes you connect emotionally with them so as the story progresses and you notice the development of each one, is when the film is closer to the peak of ecstasy, even for me that as I said above, I'm not the biggest fan of soccer and I was really excited in many moments of the film, so the scenes of tension, excitement and suspense were very well executed.

Something that cannot be missing in this movie is comedy, I was really laughing a lot since the movie started because of the great creativity that Koreans have with their humor and although it may seem quite silly and innocent, to me honestly it is very funny, so from beginning to end I was laughing, both with the witticisms of the protagonist, the crazy attitudes of the aspiring director and with the team members, the way of mixing serious and funny moments was something quite enjoyable and was kept in very good balance as well.

Finally, I would like to say that I found the ending of the movie excellent, do not expect the typical ending that can be found in other similar movies, so this seems to me something much fresher and that leaves you with a feeling of having witnessed a real story and this always comes in handy to escape from other more fantasy stories. Although it took me so long to watch the movie, but thanks to my brother's insistence I did, now I also recommend the movie to all of you, it is suitable for all audiences and very entertaining, give it a chance and you will love it, you can find it on Netflix.

Bienvenidos a una nueva reseña queridos miembros de la comunidad ¿cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Yo bastante bien, el día de hoy tuve un día bastante tranquilo que realmente ya me hacía falta y decidí ver una película que me recomendó mi hermano hace unas semanas y me viene insistiendo desde entonces y honestamente no me llamaba mucho la atención por la trama, pero de tanto que me insistió le di el beneficio de la duda y aquí estoy luego de haberla terminado para contarles qué tal me pareció, por lo que el día de hoy quiero hablarles de la película llamada “Un sueño”.

Esta película coreana estrenada el 26 de abril del año 2023 tiene una trama bastante interesante que les puedo resumir de una forma muy sencilla: Luego de que un futbolista estuviese en el centro de una polémica que terminó afectando su reputación su equipo de trabajo considera que la única solución es aceptar un trabajo que pueda limpiar su imagen, por lo que termina aceptando de forma obligatoria el entrenar a un equipo de personas sin hogar que van a participar en un torneo de futbol mientras es documentado todo el proceso que muestre una mejor imagen del futbolista y así mejorar su reputación.
La película empieza con un partido de futbol profesional, donde nuestro protagonista Yoon Hong-dae quien minutos antes de comenzar el partido en una entrevista le hicieron una pregunta sobre su madre fugitiva lo cual lo desconcentró, por eso cuando estaba en el partido este explotó compitiendo contra uno de sus propios compañeros de equipo lo que causó que perdieran el partido (o al menos eso es lo que interpreté porque realmente no lo aclaran). Cuando salen del estadio hay muchos periodistas, entre ellos el mismo que le hizo la pregunta sobre su madre y le vuelve a hacer un comentario similar, aquí es cuando Yoon Hong-dae lo agrede picándole los ojos con los dedos.

Claramente esa acción generó mucha controversia por ser una forma única de agresión, por lo cual hay muchos artículos y noticias hablando sobre lo sucedido y dándole una mala reputación, por lo que después de idear un plan de darle alguna especie de show a Yoon Hong-dae, su manager decide que debe de ser el entrenador de un equipo de futbol conformado por personas sin hogar que serán los representantes de corea del sur en un torneo de futbol con otros países, Yoon Hong-dae no acepta, pero aún así su decisión no es tomada en cuenta y termina siendo obligado de todas maneras.

También conocemos a Lee So-min, una aspirante a directora de producción quien se encargará de hacer un documental sobre el equipo para mostrar al público que Yoon Hong-dae es una buena persona y así aumentar su reputación nuevamente. Así comienza la travesía de Yoon Hong-dae con la actitud más falsa que puedan ver intentando dar una buena imagen de sí y mostrándose como alguien que realmente está haciendo las cosas desinteresadamente. Así luego de una prueba seleccionan a los que serán los integrantes del equipo que representará a corea en 2 meses y a los cuales debe entrenar, teniendo en cuenta que ninguno sabe jugar futbol, ¿Lo logrará?

Quiero empezar mi opinión hablando de la historia y me parece que es importante que sea en 3 puntos, el primero es que la historia en general no es relativamente algo nuevo, ya se han visto películas similares y era la razón por la cual no estaba muy interesado en verla, además que tampoco me gusta mucho el futbol que se diga, pero el punto dos fue lo que hizo que la continuase viendo, es que aunque la trama principal sea sobre futbol, realmente hay unas historias secundarias con cada uno de los personajes que nos permite conocerlos mejor y es lo que considero yo se lleva realmente el impacto fuerte de toda la historia y lo que realmente me conquisto y esto conecta con el punto 3 que no es más que el gran desarrollo que se obtiene al juntar los tres puntos, haciendo una historia muy completa, disfrutable y diría que también memorable.

De los personajes secundarios diría que lo son todo en la película, hasta considero que brillan más que el protagonista, pero con esto no quiero decir que el protagonista no sea importante, todo lo contrario, diría que el brillo incluso del protagonista depende de los personajes secundarios y es una muy buena manera de mantener un equilibrio entre ambos, diría que cada uno cumple perfectamente con su labor y no sobresalen más que otros ni son opacados por otros tampoco.
Me pareció increíble lo mucho que te puedes meter tan dentro de una historia como esta y es que realmente terminas entendiendo muchas de las circunstancias de los personajes y esto hace que conectes emocionalmente con ellos por lo que mientras avanza la historia y vas notando el desarrollo de cada uno, es cuando más la película se acerca a la cúspide del éxtasis, incluso para mi que como bien decía más arriba, no soy el más fanático del futbol y realmente estuve emocionado en muchos momentos de la película, por lo que las escenas de tensión, emoción y suspenso estuvieron muy bien ejecutadas.

Algo que no puede faltar en esta película es la comedia, realmente me estuve riendo muchísimo desde que empezó la película por la gran creatividad que tienen los coreanos con su humor y que aunque puede parecer bastante tonto e inocente, a mí honestamente me causa mucha gracia, por lo que de principio a fin me estuve riendo, tanto con las ocurrencias del protagonista, las actitudes locas de la aspirante a directora y con los miembros del equipo, la manera de mezclar momentos serios y divertidos fue algo bastante disfrutable y se mantuvo en muy buen equilibrio también.

Por último, me gustaría decir que, el final de la película me pareció excelente, no esperen el típico final que se pueden encontrar en otras películas parecidas, por lo que esto me parece algo mucho más fresco y que te deja con una sensación de haber presenciado una historia real y esto siempre viene bien para escapar de otras historias mas fantasiosas. Aunque tardé tanto en ver la película, pero gracias a la insistencia de mi hermano lo hice, ahora también les recomiendo la película a todos ustedes, es apta para todo publico y muy entretenida, denle una oportunidad y les encantará, pueden encontrarla en Netflix.

Tienes mucha razón, pero justamente ese es uno de los motivos por los que me gustan sus series y peliculas, me agrada lo que dices del final, esta película está nominada a un monton de premios en la temporada de premios de Corea, definitivamente la veré, gracias por recordármela 💞🫂
Diría que es el mismo motivo por el cual me gustan también sus series y películas (además de todo el romance que les gusta meter en las historias como vidas perfectas, jaja). Espero que te guste tanto a mí cuando la veas.
