Good morning dear friends of the community, how are you today? I'm pretty good and I hope you are too. Today I wanted to see a movie and I was surfing the internet a little bit to know the movies that were trending in the last weeks, but no matter how many titles I discovered none of them ended up catching my attention, so I resorted to the old reliable technique of watching a movie that I already know, but that I have seen a couple of years ago to know if it is still as good, so today I want to talk about the movie called "Coco", let's start.

This movie released on November 22, 2017 is an American production that belongs to one of the best known studios and this is Pixar Animation Studios. This movie has several genres, because in this story we will find a lot of action, adventure, comedy, drama, fantasy, music and mystery, all in an animation that will not leave anyone unsatisfied. Here we will follow Miguel, a boy who wants to be a musician, but this is frowned upon in his family who want him to follow the family tradition of making shoes, but Miguel refuses and this ends up taking him to the land of the dead where he can not leave if a deceased relative does not give him his blessing, which Miguel's great-great-grandmother denies him, so Miguel decides to look for his great-great-grandfather.
What happens in the movie?
Let's talk a little about what happens in the movie, it begins with a little story told by the voice of a little boy who considers that he is cursed and the reason for this is because many years ago there was a family where the father was a musician, his wife and daughter enjoyed music always singing and dancing, this guy had the dream of taking his music to the whole world and to be known, so one day he took his guitar, said goodbye to his family and never returned. So the mother of the family, without giving herself time to suffer for it, decided to end the music that surrounded them forever and took care of her daughter by creating her own shoe business.

The shoe business became a family business, so it grew and maintained the tradition over the years and this thanks to Mama Imelda, who clearly over the years died as she grew older, but her family continued to tell the great story every day of the dead, remembering how music separated the family, but the shoes brought them back together again. The daughter in the story is Mama Coco, who is still alive and is the great-grandmother of Miguel, the boy who has narrated the story for us, he enjoys spending time with Mama Coco very much, even though she has some trouble remembering things due to her coming of age.

Music is still something unmentionable in young Miguel's family, but he aspires to become a musician just like his idol, a famous musician already deceased named Ernesto de la Cruz, but this desire is truncated by the family's refusal with music because of the story I told you at the beginning. By an old photograph Miguel thinks he has some kinship with Ernesto de la Cruz, so this inspires him to enter a music contest to be held on the day of the dead, but his grandmother breaks his instrument for his great rejection of music, but Miguel is not defeated, the day of the celebration the boy enters the mausoleum of Ernesto de la Cruz to take his instrument and participate, just play the guitar is transported to another dimension.
This dimension is nothing more than the land of the dead, here Miguel can interact with the skeletons of the deceased people who annually return to the land of the living to celebrate the day of the dead with their relatives who still remember them. Miguel must return before the end of the day of the dead, otherwise he would be trapped there, so Miguel meets with his dead relatives who help him to solve the situation, they discover that some dead relative must give him his blessing so that he can return to the land of the living and although his great-great-grandmother offers to help him, she demands that he must forget about being a dead person, Miguel refuses and rejects her blessing, so he decides to look for Ernesto de la Cruz, who will surely give him his blessing because he is a musician like him, thus Miguel's adventure begins.

My opinion about the movie
From this point on I want to talk about my opinion about the movie without mentioning any spoilers so that those who wish to see the movie can enjoy it. I will start with the story, it is one of the most original I have ever seen and I am sure the reason for this is simple, by taking a tradition from a country like Mexico (this is where they have the Day of the Dead tradition) and animating it with a story that really shows each of the actions that make up these traditions gave way to the originality of something that the world did not know or at least not for the most part and gave them the freedom to tell a beautiful story with these traditions.
The animation of the film is beautiful, you can appreciate in the pictures I share with you the quality of the animation, besides being a very colorful world where the story unfolds makes us really live in a world of fantasies that I personally find beautiful, the design of the characters, the representation of different concepts such as death and the respect it has, it really feels in a warm way thanks to the animation, in addition to the details that can be seen in the film I think everything is a masterpiece visually speaking, it is extremely beautiful.

In my personal opinion I consider that the film has two stories, the main and the secondary and this allows it to develop in a curious way leaving different messages for each one, on the one hand we have the message of the family, here we will find great importance of the family and its union, besides showing in a very real way the concept of a family, Its differences, its problems and also its solutions, it seems to me that the film really has a charm in every sense because it allows you to connect, connect in such an emotional way that I personally ended up crying, that's how strong is this story that connects us with people we love and are no longer with us.
The other important plot that we appreciate in the film is the death or rather the day of the dead, this tradition so celebrated and that gives a completely different concept to death in this country and knowing that other concept makes us understand how nice it can be certain things when we change our perspective of them, personally the film is a complete beauty, its characters, its story, the message, its animation, its great reflections and learning makes it a journey full of so many great meanings in which we undertake with Miguel and takes us to places we never thought to do it, a masterpiece.

Buen día queridos amigos de la comunidad, ¿cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Yo bastante bien y espero que ustedes también. El día de hoy quería ver alguna película y estuve navegando un poco por internet para conocer las películas que eran tendencia en las últimas semanas, pero por más que descubría títulos ninguno me terminaba llamando la atención, por lo que recurrí a la vieja técnica confiable de ver alguna película que ya conozca, pero que haya visto hace un par de años para así saber si sigue siendo igual de buena, por eso el día de hoy quiero hablarles de la película llamada “Coco”, comencemos.

Esta película estrenada el 22 de noviembre del año 2017 es una producción estadounidense que pertenece a uno de los estudios más conocidos y este es Pixar Animation Studios. Esta película tiene varios géneros, pues en esta historia encontraremos mucha acción, aventuras, comedia, drama, fantasía, música y misterio, todo en una animación que no dejará a nadie insatisfecho. Aquí seguiremos a Miguel, un niño que desea ser músico, pero esto está muy mal visto en su familia quienes desean que siga la tradición familiar de hacer zapatos, pero Miguel se niega y esto le termina llevando a la tierra de los muertos de donde no podrá salir si algún familiar difunto no le concede su bendición, cosa que la tatarabuela de Miguel le niega, por lo que Miguel decide buscar a su tatarabuelo.
¿Qué sucede en la película?
Hablemos un poco de lo que sucede en la película, la misma comienza con una pequeña historia contada por la voz de un pequeño niño quien considera que está maldito y la razón de esto es porque hace muchos años había una familia donde el papá era músico, su esposa e hija disfrutaban de la música cantando y bailando siempre, éste sujeto tenía el sueño de llevar su música a todo el mundo y que le conocieran, así que un día tomo su guitarra, se despidió de su familia y nunca regresó. Por lo que la mamá de la familia sin darse tiempo de sufrir por ello decidió acabar con la música que les rodeaba para siempre y se hizo cargo de su hija creando su propio negocio de zapatos.

El negocio de zapatos se convirtió en algo familiar, por lo que fue creciendo y manteniendo la tradición con el paso de los años y esto gracias a mamá Imelda, quien claramente con el paso de los años murió al envejecer, pero su familia seguía contando la gran historia cada día de muertos, recordando cómo la música separó a la familia, pero los zapatos la unieron de nuevo. La hija de la historia es Mamá Coco, quien sigue viva y es la bisabuela de Miguel, el niño que nos ha narrado la historia, él disfruta mucho de pasar tiempo con Mamá Coco, aunque ella tenga ciertos problemas para recordar cosas debido a su mayoría de edad.

La música sigue siendo algo innombrable en la familia del joven Miguel, pero éste aspira a convertirse en músico al igual que su ídolo, un músico famoso ya fallecido llamado Ernesto de la Cruz, pero este deseo se ve truncado por la negativa de la familia con la música por la historia que les conté al principio. Por una vieja fotografía Miguel piensa que tiene cierto parentesco con Ernesto de la Cruz, por lo que esto le inspira a entrar en un concurso de música que se celebrará el día de los muertos, pero su abuela rompe su instrumento por su gran rechazo a la música, pero Miguel no se deja vencer, el día de la celebración el niño entra al mausoleo de Ernesto de la Cruz para tomar su instrumento y participar, apenas toca la guitarra es transportado a otra dimensión.
Esta dimensión no es más que la tierra de los muertos, aquí Miguel puede interactuar con los esqueletos de las personas difuntas quienes anualmente vuelven a la tierra de los vivos para celebrar el día de los muertos junto a sus familiares quienes todavía les recuerdan. Miguel debe regresar antes de que finalice el día de los muertos, de lo contrario quedaría atrapado allí, así Miguel se reúne con sus familiares muertos quienes le ayudan a resolver la situación, descubren que algún familiar muerto debe darle su bendición para que pueda regresar a la tierra de los vivos y aunque su tatarabuela se ofrece a ayudarle, le exige que debe olvidarse de ser músico, a lo que Miguel se niega y rechaza su bendición, por lo que decide buscar a Ernesto de la Cruz, quien seguramente sí le dará su bendición al ser músico como él, así comienza la aventura de Miguel.

Mí opinión sobre la película
A partir de este punto quiero hablar de mi opinión sobre la película sin mencionar ningún spoiler para que puedan disfrutarla aquellos que deseen ver la película. Empezaré con la historia, es de las más originales que haya visto y estoy seguro que la razón de esto es simple, al tomar una tradición de un país como México (aquí es donde tienen la tradición del día de los muertos) y animarla con una historia que realmente muestra cada una de las acciones que conforman estas tradiciones dio paso a la originalidad de algo que el mundo no conocía o al menos no en su mayoría y les dio la libertad de contar una historia preciosa con estas tradiciones.
La animación de la película es preciosa, pueden apreciar en las fotografías que les comparto la calidad de la animación, además de ser un mundo bastante colorido donde se desarrolla la historia nos hace vivir realmente en un mundo de fantasías que en lo personal me parece precioso, el diseño de los personajes, la representación de diferentes conceptos como la muerte y el respeto que se le tiene, realmente se siente de una manera cálida gracias a la animación, además de los detalles que se pueden apreciar en la película me parece que todo es una obra maestra visualmente hablando, es sumamente preciosa.

En mi opinión personal considero que la película cuenta con dos historias, la principal y la secundaria y esto permite que se desarrolle de una manera curiosa dejando mensajes diferentes para cada una, por un lado tenemos el mensaje de la familia, aquí encontraremos grandes importancias de la familia y su unión, además de mostrarse de forma muy real el concepto de una familia, sus diferencias, sus problemas y también sus soluciones, me parece que la película realmente tiene un encanto en todo sentido porque te permite conectar, conectar de una manera tan emocional que yo personalmente terminé llorando, así de fuerte es esta historia que nos conecta con personas que amamos y ya no están.
La otra gran trama importante que apreciamos en la película es la muerte o mejor dicho el día de los muertos, esta tradición tan celebrada y que le da un concepto completamente diferente a la muerte en este país y conocer ese otro concepto nos hace entender lo lindo que puede resultar ciertas cosas cuando cambiamos nuestra perspectiva de ellas, en lo personal la película es una completa preciosura, sus personajes, su historia, el mensaje, su animación, sus grandes reflexiones y aprendizajes hace que sea un viaje lleno de tantos grandes significados en el cual emprendemos con Miguel y nos lleva a lugares que nunca pensamos hacerlo, una obra maestra.

Hola bro, la verdad cuando la vi me pareció muy genial, ya que me gusta mucho el tema de la muerte y todo lo que ella trae, aunque soy venezolano, siempre me ha llamado.
Esta película es un 10/10, tanto en animación, trama y sobre todo su historia, sin olvidarme de la música, posible me la busqué para verla de nuevo.

Siento que la incertidumbre de la muerte es algo llamativo, claramente desde un punto de vista que no sea negativo, aunque esto depende de cada persona, pero sin dudas esta película toca ése aspecto de la muerte de forma curiosa y entretenida.
La música es algo que no mencioné, pero tienes toda la razón, tiene muchos elementos que la hacen una obra de arte.

Saludos amigo, estas es una de las mejores películas animadas que sacaron para ese año e incluso es mejor que muchos de hoy en día, por toda su temática y la manera como lograron recrear cada segundo de la misma, en mi caso la he visto varias veces y siempre me rio y divierte. El personaje principal es todo un gran héroe y demuestra muchas cosas importantes esta película, la cual siempre será recordadas.
Comparto ése pensamiento de que fue la mejor de ése año e incluso de los recientes, no sabría decir por qué parece que las películas están en decadencia, quizás por esa falta de ganas de entregar películas que realmente plasmen y dejen huella, una lástima, pero siempre se valorarán las joyas como esta película.

Está película la vi con mis hijos y la disfrutamos muchísimo, verla es como estar en una montaña rusa de emociones nos lleva de estar alegres con las canciones de Miguel y reírnos con sus divertidas hazañas, melancolicos por la historia familiar que nos cuenta la abuela, hasta llorar en las escenas de Miguel con su abuelo. Toca el tema de la muerte de forma muy apropiada para explicárselo a los niños también ,excelente recomendación 🤗 Saludos
Nunca lo había visto desde la perspectiva que realmente explica la muerte de forma sencilla para los niños e incluso me gustaría decir que enseña sobre la muerte de la manera más positiva y esto realmente es necesario para aprender incluso de la vida. Una película que vale la pena ver más de una vez.
