3 Movies of Legendary Stars in a week

What a fabulous week it has been for all the movie lovers. In the last 10 days 3 movies of mega stars and who have been my all-time favorite also got released. Jackie Chan's - Hidden Strike, Harrison Ford's - Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Tom Cruises - Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning. These are all mega stars, all above 60 and can still pull the audience into the theatre, which none of the actors of today's time has the capacity to do so. I have grown up watching their movies, the Indiana Jones and the Mission Impossible series, always eagerly looking forward to.

From the 3 Tom Cruise is my super favorite, at the age of 61 he can give a run to any of the new stars. These are legends of the film industry; stars are like these are not seen commonly. Jackie Chan at the age of 69 is incredible with his stunts and you still enjoy watching him in action, and what can you say about Harrison Ford at 81, just a charmer I can say. These are the people who have never had any type of limitations with aging, at least not on the screen. Yes, they will be surely having their challenges but to come this far needs a lot of conviction.

I watched all the 3 movies in the last 10 days...haha, yes, I am a movie buff, I am capable of doing that. And it was not a surprise at all that for all the 3 movies the cinema halls were full. In a long time, I have not seen cinema halls to more than 50% capacity. As if like movies were released after ages. Such a delight it was. MI - this was part 1 and I hope the part 2 comes out soon. MI got released last Saturday and the first show was a night show after 10, even though Sunday being a work day here, I could see the theatre full for the late-night show. I guess there are many crazy people like me who would want to grab the first day first show. Though I did not go for that one.

Now coming to the review of the movies. I will rate Mission Impossible on top of the charts , then Hidden Strike and then Indian Jones. All of these are action movies, got to see some amazing stunts, especially the Mission Impossible scene where Tom Cruise jumps from the cliff on a bike. It is a legendary scene, there was already a lot of talk of this scene even before the movie got released as he has done it by himself.
The story lines were decent. These days all the action movies are based on nuclear power posing threat to humanity and so were these stories also somewhat on similar lines. Indian Jones I enjoyed some of the scenes where they go back in time and then Harrison Ford does not want to come back into the present from there. Jackie Chan in his style always mixes action with humor, which was fun. I can say all of them were full of thrill and action.

I always watch a movie with the sense of only getting entertained and do not put too much of mind in it thinking, how this can happen or it cannot happen and that's where I always leave the cinema hall feeling entertained.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

This is really interesting. When I was much younger Tom Cruise was my favorite movie star and I watched most of his movies back then. I used to tell myself that if I ever get into the movie industry, I would want to be like him. I don't know much about Harrison Ford but Jackie Chan is definitely another legendary star, I love his great acting skills and his movies are never boring.
I'll look up all three movies and see when I can get a watch on them.

For kids of 80s and 90s Tom Cruise is favorite. Harrison Ford is now 81 years and he barely makes movies so yes for the new generation he is not very popular, unless you lay your hands on some vintage cinema collection :-) All of these are truly legendary performers

I'll try doing that and see how I react to the beginning of those types of collections. I think I'll be easily distracted by the clothes they wear or the type of building they live on or even the now unconventional things they may do :)
