Hola amigos de la comunidad de Movies & Tv, espero se encuentren bien el día de hoy. Hace poco ví una película coreana que me gustó mucho a pesar de que al comienzo no estaba del todo convencida de verla, me pareció interesante como se desarrolla la historia de
A Day,
un film que nos habla de cómo las decisiones que tomamos pueden cambiar y alterar para siempre nuestro futuro y terminar en un bucle que no parece tener fin.

Dirigida por Cho Sun-ho quien debutó con esta película en el año 2017, nos muestra una historia de intriga junto con la mezcla de suspenso y ciencia ficción necesarios para ser una excelente entrada al mundo del cine.

nos cuenta la historia de dos hombres que repiten el mismo día una y otra vez mientras ven a el ser querido de cada uno perder la vida en un accidente, es un ciclo que se repite y que llena de tensión mientras vas mirando lo que pudieran hacer los protagonistas para poder rescatar a sus familiares con vida y cambiar la historia de alguna forma.
Directed by Cho Sun-ho who debuted with this film in 2017, it shows us a story of intrigue along with the mix of suspense and science fiction needed to be an excellent entry into the world of cinema.
A Day
tells us the story of two men who repeat the same day over and over again as they watch each other's loved one lose their lives in an accident, it's a cycle that repeats itself and fills you with tension as you watch what the protagonists could do to rescue their relatives alive and change history in some way.

Kim Joon-young (Kim Myung-min) es un cirujano de renombre quien se ve afectado fuertemente al enterarse de que su hija está enferma de gravedad y que debe recibir un transplante que al parecer fue conseguido pero que en los últimos momentos le avisan que ya no va a poder recibir la donación del órgano. Esto lleva a Joon-young a verse entre la ética como medico y el amor que siente fuertemente hacia su hija, el deseo de poder verla con vida sin importar lo que tenga que hacer para poder salvarla así sea pasando por lo que cómo médico debería o no hacer.
Kim Joon-young (Kim Myung-min) is a renowned surgeon who is strongly affected when he learns that his daughter is seriously ill and must receive a transplant that was apparently obtained but in the last moments he is told that he will no longer be able to receive the organ donation. This leads Joon-young to be torn between his ethics as a doctor and the love he feels strongly for his daughter, the desire to see her alive no matter what he has to do to save her, even if he has to go through what he should or should not do as a doctor.

a film where suspense is used as the main tool to keep you watching the film until the end and to make us reflect on life and the good and bad decisions we make as human beings.
More than an accident, it is a way to see that everything we do towards others at some point comes back to us and that we cannot make decisions for others without consulting them first.
It is incredible to see the desperation of the protagonists and try to decipher how they can get there before the tragic accident where Joon-young's daughter and Shi-hoon's girlfriend die.

La película es sumamente trágica y melancólica cómo muchas de las que existen de Corea del Sur, pero en este caso el hecho de que todos sean culpables y víctimas al mismo tiempo de la situación que no para de repetirse es algo que te hace sentir pena y tristeza por todos los involucrados, es tan difícil el tener que aceptar que se cometieron errores y que por ello ahora la vida busca de alguna manera enseñarnos que siempre debemos hacer lo correcto aunque esto no sea lo que nos haga sentir bien o felices.
The film is extremely tragic and melancholic like many of those that exist from South Korea, but in this case the fact that everyone is guilty and victims at the same time of the situation that keeps repeating itself is something that makes you feel sorry and sad for everyone involved, it is so difficult to have to accept that mistakes were made and that is why life now seeks to somehow teach us that we must always do the right thing even if this is not what makes us feel good or happy.

La recomiendo por si quieren ver algo diferente dentro del cine asiático y si les gusta el género de drama y suspenso, es una historia muy triste pero que deja una gran reflexión y que nos enseña que sin importar cuánto deseemos que las cosas sean diferentes debemos enfrentar nuestra realidad para poder ser libres finalmente y vivir con las consecuencias de nuestros actos. Espero puedan verla y si ya lo hicieron me dejaran un comentario sobre que tal les pareció está película 🫠🫣
I recommend it if you want to see something different in Asian cinema and if you like the genre of drama and suspense, it is a very sad story but leaves a great reflection and teaches us that no matter how much we want things to be different we must face our reality to finally be free and live with the consequences of our actions.
