Hola amigos de la comunidad de Movies & Tv, espero se encuentren bien el día de hoy. Hace unos días ví una película con mi hermana sin tantas expectativas debido a las reseñas de otras personas a través de la app de Letterboxd donde decían que la película "Trap" fue una historia que en vez de generar miedo o suspenso, realmente lo que hizo fue dar risa y que les parecía un desperdicio dentro del género de Terror y Misterio. No tenía grandes expectativas como ya lo dije, pero realmente la película no fue tan mala como esperaba, tuvo buenas escenas y una historia que aunque no diera tanto miedo si me generó un enganche con la trama. Así que hoy les vengo a hablar de "Trap" una película que puede gustarte o hacer que te genere un poco de diversión al verla.

A few days ago I saw a movie with my sister without so many expectations due to the reviews of other people through the Letterboxd app where they said that the movie "Trap" was a story that instead of generating fear or suspense, really what it did was to give laughter and that they thought it was a waste within the Horror and Mystery genre. I didn't have high expectations as I already said, but the movie wasn't as bad as I expected, it had good scenes and a story that even if it wasn't that scary, it did generate a hook with the plot. So today I come to talk about "Trap" a movie that you can like or make you have some fun watching it.

La trama de Trap comienza con la historia de un padre de familia llamado Cooper (Josh Hartnett) quien le compra unas entradas a su hija Riley de su cantante favorita: Lady Raven, su hija ha estado esperando este momento deseando poder estar cerca de la cantante que la inspira y que hace que cante todos los días sus canciones como lo haria un gran fanatico. Cooper consigue entradas para él y Riley, cuando llega el día Riley se emociona y se viste con su ropa preparada para el gran concierto y su papá muy contento de poder cumplir este sueño a su pequeña hija la acompaña en el día que cambiaría para siempre sus vidas.

The plot of Trap begins with the story of a father named Cooper (Josh Hartnett) who buys tickets for his daughter Riley of her favorite singer: Lady Raven, his daughter has been waiting for this moment wishing to be near the singer who inspires her and makes her sing every day her songs as a big fan would do. Cooper gets tickets for him and Riley, when the day arrives Riley gets excited and dresses in her clothes ready for the big concert and her dad very happy to be able to fulfill this dream to his little daughter accompanies her on the day that would change their lives forever.

Cooper en medio del concierto se da cuenta de que hay una situación extraña ocurriendo mientras todas estas jóvenes cantan al coro de la famosa Lady Raven, esto lo pone en alerta y tiene que separarse de Riley para ver que es lo que esta sucediendo, su instinto como Bombero lo alerta aún más de la situación y se da cuenta de que hay policías por toda el area incluyendo dentro del concierto, el con cierta y curiosa agilidad logra meterse dentro de los espacios que están permitidos unicamente para trabajadores, con mucha cautela logra empezar a darse cuenta de que la situación es más peligrosa de lo que parece, él se entera de que hay un hombre muy peligroso en el lugar y que la policia está detras de él, esto cambia toda la experiencia que puede llegar a vivir un padre y su hija en un concierto.

Cooper in the middle of the concert realizes that there is a strange situation occurring while all these young women sing the chorus of the famous Lady Raven, this puts him on alert and has to separate from Riley to see what is happening, his instinct as a firefighter alerts him even more of the situation and realizes that there are police all over the area including inside the concert, With some curious agility he manages to get inside the spaces that are allowed only for workers, with great caution he begins to realize that the situation is more dangerous than it seems, he learns that there is a very dangerous man in the place and that the police are after him, this changes the whole experience that a father and daughter can live in a concert.

Ciertamente Cooper es el personaje principal interpretado por Josh Hartnett de forma excelente, dónde se muestra desde el comienzo como un padre que desea pasar un buen momento con su hija a luego estar involucrado con ese hombre que la policía ha estado buscando debido a ciertos asesinatos ocurridos de una forma muy violenta y del cual solo se sabe que este hombre tan peligroso es llamado "El Carnicero". Ya con el nombre de el tipo que están buscando pueden darse una idea de lo malévolo y cruel que es este sujeto y de que se encuentra en el concierto tal vez haciéndose pasar por un hombre común que está disfrutando de un concierto.

Certainly Cooper is the main character played by Josh Hartnett in an excellent way, where he is shown from the beginning as a father who wants to have a good time with his daughter to then be involved with that man that the police have been looking for due to certain murders that occurred in a very violent way and of which only it is known that this dangerous man is called "The Butcher". Already with the name of the guy they are looking for you can get an idea of how malevolent and cruel this guy is and that he is at the concert perhaps posing as a common man who is enjoying a concert.

La película es de género terror y misterio pero siento que es más de suspenso que de estos dos debido a que la historia comienza de una manera muy normal y luego hay varios giros de trama que hacen que la historia empiece a cobrar sentido, tenemos a un hombre que es un asesino serial quien además está relacionado con la vida de Cooper y Riley de alguna manera y que hace que la historia que comenzó como un simple momento de diversión dentro de un concierto se vuelva una completa pesadilla tanto para Cooper y Riley cómo para la famosa cantante Lady Raven quien tiene mucho que aportar en la trama para salvar la vida de un hombre que se encuentra encerrado en una casa dónde según el carnicero lo dejó ahí atrapado para asesinarlo de la peor manera que puedan imaginar.

The movie is of the horror and mystery genre but I feel that it is more suspenseful than both of these two because the story starts off in a very normal way and then there are several plot twists that make the story start to make sense, We have a man who is a serial killer who is also related to the life of Cooper and Riley in some way and that makes the story that began as a simple moment of fun at a concert turns into a complete nightmare for both Cooper and Riley as for the famous singer Lady Raven who has much to contribute in the plot to save the life of a man who is locked in a house where according to the butcher left him trapped there to kill him in the worst way you can imagine.

Las escenas del concierto son bastante realistas en cuanto a la emoción de las jovenes por conocer a Lady Raven, también el hecho de que muestren como personas que parecen llevar una vida completamente normal pueden esconder secretos muy sucios y llevar una doble vida dónde son el peor ser que puedas llegar a conocer, esto hace que la historia se torne interesante. Siento que de alguna forma la historia es bastante tétrica pero a la vez la forma en la que la contaron hace que se sienta como si tuviera algo de comedia dentro de ella, pero me pareció bastante buena y el actor que hace de Cooper (Josh Hartnett) hizo un trabajo increíble con su personaje y su relación con el asesino. Puede que las personas esperaran más acción o momentos dónde se viera el terror o la muerte de algún personaje pero el final solo me dejó pensando en toda la locura que fueron los últimos treinta minutos de película y como le dieron un cierre a la historia con un final abierto.

The scenes of the concert are quite realistic in terms of the excitement of the girls to meet Lady Raven, also the fact that they show how people who seem to lead a completely normal life can hide very dirty secrets and lead a double life where they are the worst being that you can get to know, this makes the story interesting. I feel that in some ways the story is quite creepy but at the same time the way it was told makes it feel like it has some comedy in it, but I thought it was pretty good and the actor who plays Cooper (Josh Hartnett) did an amazing job with his character and his relationship with the killer. People may have expected more action or moments where horror or character death was seen but the ending just left me thinking about all the craziness that was the last thirty minutes of the movie and how they gave closure to the story with an open ending.

Está historia puede que no todo el mundo sienta que es buena, pero tuvo sus momentos que para mí la hicieron bastante interesante y que de cierta manera me gustó tal cual la realizaron. Me deja reflexionando en todo lo que puede ocurrir dentro de una persona para convertirse en un asesino, dónde mencionan que este sujeto apodado El Carnicero tuvo una mala relación con su madre quien siempre se dió cuenta de su extraña actitud y la maldad con la que había nacido, esto es algo que suele estar asociado con muchos asesinos o antisociales donde tienen una experiencia traumática en el comienzo de sus vidas o simplemente nacen con el deseo de poder hacer el mal. Es bastante interesante ver cómo se desarrolla el personaje de el carnicero y como busca de forma muy inteligente escapar cada vez que intentan atraparlo.

This story may not everyone feel it is a good one, but it had its moments that for me made it quite interesting and in a way I liked it just the way it was done. It leaves me reflecting on everything that can happen inside a person to become a murderer, where they mention that this guy nicknamed The Butcher had a bad relationship with his mother who always realized his strange attitude and the evil with which he was born, this is something that is usually associated with many murderers or antisocial where they have a traumatic experience in the beginning of their lives or simply born with the desire to do evil. It is quite interesting to see how the character of the butcher develops and how he very cleverly seeks to escape every time they try to catch him.
