Hello friends of the Movies & Tv community I hope you are doing well today. I had a movie of 2023 pending to see and there were also many doubts in me about whether to see it or not, since I saw it a little bizarre so to speak and well today I could see Poor Things and really is little just to say that very crazy things happen and together at the same time. So I will be talking about this movie that many people have liked and that has been recognized in the film awards.

This film begins by telling us the story of Bella Baxter a kind of human who was resurrected by Dr. Godwin a rather peculiar scientist besides having a striking appearance has a lot of passion for how humans work and also how science can create wonders how he managed to resurrect the human Bella Baxter name that he himself placed. Bella is practically a baby in the body of a young girl, she has to start learning to walk and to understand the world where only Dr. Godwin and her coexist, he has always told her that going out to the outside world can be very bad that there are horrible things that could happen to her, Bella simply accepts somehow that her life is to be in that mansion in London with her "God" as she calls him or her father Godwin. But how long can a person stay locked up in one place while learning that there is more to know and explore, that is what Bella is willing to discover even if she has to go against what her father Godwin has taught her.

By the time Bella is able to understand that her body reacts in a different way when experimenting with it and to know that there are things like masturbation and pleasure, she wants to know more about it and it is something that is shown a lot in the film but it is all new to her, although her beginnings in sexual life can get a little out of control along the way. She will also have to learn to behave like a young woman and know that sometimes it is better not to say everything we think, she has to learn that not everything that seems to be good is and that not everyone has good intentions with her. It is a long road in which we can see how the person who is Bella becomes a human being who begins to ask herself deeper questions where she will see that life is not only what she learned with Dr. Godwin and that there are many things she must understand.

This 2023 Iranian-Anglo-American film directed and co-produced by Yorgos Lanthimos of comedy and science fiction genre shows us one of the most personal roles that Emma Stone has played as Bella Baxter, a very peculiar young woman who was the victim of a tragedy and who came back to life thanks to Dr. Godwin who is played by the incredible actor Willen Dafoe who plays a very important role in the film and also very peculiar for being a man who had a tragic childhood where science was always present in his life. We also have the participation of Sarah Margaret Qualley and Ramy Youssef who have important roles in the film and who also deserve to be praised for their good acting.

There are no words to describe what one can think when watching this movie, at the beginning you can say that everything is so weird but then there is a lot of emotion and also moments of drama that make the movie very entertaining and the truth I feel that it is a movie with a very original script, each of the scenes fulfills what is expected of the story and can even surprise you what happens next. Personally I really liked the performance of Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo who have most of the scenes in the movie, I can imagine both of them dying of laughter when recording so many explicit scenes and that made the movie go from a funny moment to a tense moment and made me want to laugh. It is quite long, it has a duration of two hours and seventeen minutes where everything can happen in a second, the truth is that it is one of those movies that you see and you say that you will always remember it because it has so many scenes that stay in your mind. Besides the good script I think that the choice of actors was undoubtedly the touch for this film to be so well received by the public and I liked the ending, so you have to see it in its entirety to see that unexpected ending.
