Hola a todos en la querida comunidad de Movies & Tv el día de hoy por fin pude ver la película que está arrasando en taquilla y por la cual muchas fanáticas de diferentes edades habían estado esperando por esta película. Mis expectativas eran muy altas cuando ví el tráiler oficial pero sin duda, la película quedó espectacular cada escena y actor que estuvo en ella le dió un toque especial y el resultado final es algo maravilloso. Lo único que me entristece es que no pude verla en el cine pero aún así la disfrute muchísimo y me hizo llorar en varias escenas sobre todo la del final, es así que me atreveré a hablarles de la nueva película Live-Action de Barbie protagonizada por Margot Robbie cómo Barbie y Ryan Gosling cómo Ken.

Hello everyone in the beloved Movies & Tv community, today I finally got to see the movie that is sweeping the box office and for which many fans of different ages have been waiting for this movie. My expectations were very high when I saw the official trailer but without a doubt, the movie was spectacular, every scene and actor that was in it gave it a special touch and the final result is something wonderful. The only thing that saddens me is that I couldn't see it in the theater but I still enjoyed it a lot and it made me cry in several scenes especially the final one, so I dare to talk about the new Barbie Live-Action movie starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken.

La trama de esta película empieza mostrándonos como es la vida de Barbie, desde que se despierta, lo que come, sus pijamada de chicas y las maravillas que hay en el mundo de Barbie. En este mundo todo es perfecto, las Barbies se destacan por tener cada una un rol diferente, cómo Barbie Abogada, Barbie Sirena y muchas más. Todo es rosado, bonito y nunca nada sale mal, todos los días son un día perfecto en el mundo de Barbie. Pero de pronto Barbie (Margot Robbie) una mañana despierta y nota algo diferente, las cosas le empiezan a salir mal y otro cambio importante es que ya no está de puntillas como suelen estar siempre las Barbies y es allí cuando ella empieza a plantearse quien es realmente Barbie y tiene emociones humanas como la tristeza o la decepción.

The plot of this movie starts showing us how Barbie's life is, from when she wakes up, what she eats, her sleepovers and the wonders of Barbie's world. In this world everything is perfect, the Barbies stand out for having each one a different role, like Barbie Lawyer, Barbie Mermaid and many more. Everything is pink, pretty and nothing ever goes wrong, every day is a perfect day in Barbie's world. But suddenly Barbie (Margot Robbie) wakes up one morning and notices something different, things start to go wrong and another important change is that she is no longer on tiptoe as Barbies always are and that's when she starts to wonder who Barbie really is and has human emotions such as sadness or disappointment.

Ken (Ryan Gosling) es perfecto, está siempre cerca de Barbie, tiene el cabello platinado y usa ropa muy cool que lo hace ver muy guapo, como un Ken. También estás los otros Ken que tienen diferentes características. Ken is just Ken or so he thinks, that his world revolves around Barbie and he wants to have a relationship with her and live in a beautiful mansion happily ever after. But when Barbie starts having these strange ideas that Ken doesn't understand, he goes with her to the real world to find out what's going on and everything will become a mess but a lot of fun.

En el mundo real Barbie se da cuenta que existen cosas como el machismo, cosas que ella no entiende como referencias de hombres sexualizandola por su manera de vestir. Su meta es encontrar a la niña que es básicamente la que tiene el poder de cambiar su manera de ser en el mundo de Barbie. Durante esta travesía Barbie se da cuenta de que ha vivido mucho tiempo en una burbuja y empieza a tener problemas existenciales como ideas de muerte, mucha tristeza y sensación de no encajar.

In the real world Barbie realizes that there are things like sexism, things she doesn't understand like references to men sexualizing her because of the way she dresses. Her goal is to find the girl who is basically the one who has the power to change the way she is in Barbie's world. During this journey Barbie realizes that she has been living in a bubble for a long time and begins to have existential problems such as ideas of death, a lot of sadness and a feeling of not fitting in.

Pero el hecho de que Barbie y Ken estén en el mundo real hace que el otro mundo empiece a cambiar debido a sus acciones en el mundo real, Barbie reconoce que no sabe quién es realmente y que tal vez siempre ha vivido una mentira sin propósito alguno. Quiero opinar que las actuaciones de Margot Robbie y Ryan Gosling estuvieron excelentes mucho mejor de lo que yo pensaba, Margot interpreto de manera natural y espontánea a la Barbie que todos conocemos y Ryan Gosling como Ken también lo hizo muy bien, además de que el look de Ken le quedó perfecto con ese cabello platinado. No podíamos esperar menos de esta película con una directora como Greta Gerwig la cual dirigió películas muy reconocidas como Lady Bird y Little Woman ambas grandes películas que aún permanecen en la mente de todos los que las hemos visto. De hecho leí algo muy interesante, creo que la idea de hacer la película de Barbie fue de Margot Robbie y ella quería que la directora (si lograban concretar la película) fuera Greta Gerwig, al final todo termino siendo así y Greta escogió sin dudar a Margot para que hiciera el papel de Barbie.

I want to say that the performances of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were excellent much better than I thought, Margot played in a natural and spontaneous way the Barbie we all know and Ryan Gosling as Ken also did very well, plus Ken's look was perfect with that platinum hair. We couldn't expect less from this movie with a director like Greta Gerwig who directed very well known movies like Lady Bird and Little Woman both great movies that still remain in the minds of all of us who have seen them. In fact I read something very interesting, I think the idea of making the Barbie movie was Margot Robbie's and she wanted the director (if they managed to make the movie) to be Greta Gerwig, in the end everything ended up being like that and Greta chose Margot without hesitation to play the role of Barbie.

Para una niña de los 90s como yo que ya no tiene mucho conocimiento de las películas de Barbie porque no les seguí el hilo a las nuevas que salieron, está película me encantó, desde la dirección hasta la fotografía, las escenas son realmente como si estuvieras viendo a una Barbie pero real en una ciudad de Barbie de juguete, hay demasiados detalles donde el color rosa y los accesorios destacan además de que aparecen muchas Barbies interpretando diferentes profesiones y me recordó mucho a esos momentos dónde jugaba con mi hermana menor y teníamos algunas Barbies, una casa y hasta una camioneta de Barbie y una piscina (la piscina era una de mis cosas favoritas al jugar) pero realmente tienes que verla para darte cuenta de lo genial que quedó está película.

For a child of the 90s like me who doesn't have much knowledge of Barbie movies because I didn't follow the thread to the new ones that came out, I loved this movie, from the direction to the photography, the scenes are really like if you were watching a real Barbie in a Barbie toy city, there are too many details where the pink color and the accessories stand out plus there are many Barbies playing different professions and it reminded me a lot of those moments where I played with my younger sister and we had some Barbies, a house and even a Barbie truck and a pool (the pool was one of my favorite things to play with) but you really have to see it to realize how great this movie was.

Van a ver una escena de locura en dónde Ken después de viajar del mundo real al mundo de Barbie se vuelve más egocéntrico al darse cuenta de que un hombre debe ser respetado solo por serlo, eso lo aprendió de todo lo que vio en el mundo real.

The controversial topic and that some people even said that the movie was bad is only 0.1% of the population, because the movie touches on really important issues that maybe a child or a little girl will not understand but will still enjoy watching the movie especially for its striking colors and songs but I think it is better for adults to see it, it is more worthwhile. Among the topics discussed in the movie, the patriarchy comes up, the fact that men have more power and women are often left aside just because they are women. You will see a crazy scene where Ken after traveling from the real world to Barbie's world becomes more egocentric when he realizes that a man should be respected just for being a man, he learned that from everything he saw in the real world.

Barbie piensa por un instante en dejar todo el desastre como está pero la adolescente y su madre no dejarán que las cosas simplemente queden así, Barbie debe salvar su mundo y darse cuenta de que ella es mucho más que una simple Barbie, que tiene muchas cualidades y que puede ser lo que quiera ser. El soundtrack de la película está bastante variado y divertido, hay canciones de Dua Lipa la cual también interpreta a una de las Barbies en la película, Lizzo la cual hizo una canción para el comienzo de la película y le quedó genial, Nicki Minaj y Karol G también le agregaron un toque divertido con sus canciones a las escenas.

Barbie thinks for a moment about leaving the whole mess as it is but the teenager and her mother will not let things just stay like that, Barbie must save her world and realize that she is much more than just a Barbie, that she has many qualities and that she can be whatever she wants to be. I love that line, because in the movie we see how all the Barbies become aware that they are made to do whatever they want with their lives besides being pretty or just living next to a Ken in a supposedly wonderful world. The soundtrack of the movie is quite varied and fun, there are songs by Dua Lipa who also plays one of the Barbies in the movie, Lizzo who did a song for the beginning of the movie and it was great, Nicki Minaj and Karol G also added a fun touch with their songs to the scenes.

Knowing that the messages that this movie wants to give us are so many like the fact that there is no perfection, the theme of the struggle for women's rights and equality, the search for the purpose of our lives, the teaching to the little and not so little girls who play and played with Barbies, in the end there is nothing like perfection, the world just wants us to be a certain way so we don't look weird or obsolete, but each one of the Barbies and the women who have grown up with them really have to be proud of our achievements both academic and personal in a world where being a woman is extremely difficult, where also the change in our appearance and age makes us feel as if we are worthless.

Realmente les recomiendo ver esta pelicula, yo llore demasiado con el final pero luego me reí porque terminó de una manera totalmente inesperada, también hay que destacar el hecho de que ambos actores hicieran todos esos bailes y coreografias que aparecen en la película y que me parecieron muy geniales. Me hubiera gustado llevarme esa experiencia de haber visto Barbie en el cine, pero aún así me siento muy feliz de haber podido verla y recordar tantos momentos que he vivido tanto en mi niñez como en mi adultez. Fue simplemente la mejor película que he visto del 2023. Vayan al cine y veanla está muy interesante.

I really recommend you to see this movie, I cried too much with the end but then I laughed because it ended in a totally unexpected way, also note the fact that both actors did all those dances and choreographies that appear in the film and I thought they were very cool. I would have liked to have taken that experience with me if I had seen Barbie in the cinema, but I still feel very happy to have been able to see it and remember so many moments that I have lived both in my childhood and in my adulthood. It was simply the best movie I have seen of 2023. Go to the movies and see it, it's very interesting.
