Hola amigos de la comunidad de Cinetv, espero que se encuentren bien el día de hoy. Hoy quise unirme al concurso #111 para hablar sobre una de mis películas favoritas de un matrimonio donde ambos se aman profundamente pero la vida cómo siempre tiene planes diferentes y ocurre un suceso que cambia la relación tan profundamente que nos deja varias enseñanzas. Les hablo de Votos de Amor, muchos ya la habrán visto ya que no es tan nueva está película y además cuenta con dos protagonistas increíbles como lo son Rachel McAdams y Channing Tatum. Una de las razones por la que ví está película fue por la trama y por qué ví mucha química entre los dos y para mí es una de las películas de romance más bonitas que he visto en toda mi vida.

Today I wanted to join the contest #111 to talk about one of my favorite movies about a marriage where both love each other deeply but life as always has different plans and an event happens that changes the relationship so deeply that leaves us several lessons. I'm talking about Vows of Love, many of you have already seen it since it is not so new and it also has two incredible protagonists such as Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. One of the reasons why I saw this movie was because of the plot and because I saw a lot of chemistry between the two of them and for me it is one of the most beautiful romance movies I have ever seen in my life.

Les contaré un poco la historia de Votos de Amor, el título original de la película es The Vow y fue dirigida por Michael Sucsy y protagonizada por Channing Tatum y Rachel McAdams, la historia basada en hechos reales nos cuenta la relación de Leo y Paige una pareja de jóvenes que se encuentran viviendo el sueño de haber encontrado a su otra mitad, ambos tienen una gran pasión por el arte pero Leo es quien se dedica por completo al mundo musical mientras que Paige viene de una familia más conservadora donde sus padres la criaron para que fuera a la universidad y se graduara de abogada, pero las cosas cambiaron cuando Leo y Paige se conocen creando una atmosfera de tension por parte de los padres de Paige quienes no aprobaron su relacion con Leo y tampoco su decisión de no dedicarse a su carrera, por buscar su proposito de vida.

I will tell you a little of the story of Vows of Love, the original title of the film is The Vow and was directed by Michael Sucsy and starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams, the story based on true events tells us the relationship of Leo and Paige a young couple who are living the dream of having found their other half, Both have a great passion for art but Leo is the one who is fully dedicated to the music world while Paige comes from a more conservative family where her parents raised her to go to college and graduate as a lawyer, but things changed when Leo and Paige meet creating an atmosphere of tension from Paige's parents who did not approve of her relationship with Leo and her decision not to pursue her career, to find her purpose in life.

La película muestra al comienzo momentos hermosos entre Leo y Paige, se puede sentir que se aman profundamente y que sueñan con cuidarse y formar una familia juntos. Sin embargo, como la vida siempre tiene sus sorpresas las cosas cambian cuando tienen un accidente automovilístico que deja gravemente herida a Paige. Mientras Paige se encuentra en estado de coma, los doctores dan un mal pronóstico: cuando despierte no recordara nada debido a que tiene amnesia y puede que los recuerdos que tenía con Leo ya no se encuentren en su mente. The film shows at the beginning beautiful moments between Leo and Paige, you can feel that they love each other deeply and that they dream of taking care of each other and starting a family together. However, as life always has its surprises things change when they have a car accident that leaves Paige seriously injured. While Paige is in a coma, the doctors give a bad prognosis: when she wakes up she will not remember anything because she has amnesia and the memories she had with Leo may no longer be in her mind. When she wakes up she is very confused and when Leo tries to approach her and tell her that he is her husband, she does not recognize him and has a fit of fear, so Paige's parents decide to take him home when he leaves the hospital.

Este hecho hace que la historia se torne gris, Leo empieza a tratar de acercarse de nuevo a Paige y que ella junto a él pueda recordar la historia de amor que ambos construyeron pero no será una tarea fácil ya que Paige se siente muy asustada y su mente es la de una joven cuya vida está enfocada en estar con su familia y dedicarse a su carrera, al mismo tiempo los padres de Paige aprovechan esto como una oportunidad para alejarla de Leo y que pueda tener un futuro mejor. Después de esto Leo comienza a buscarla de manera que ella pueda interactuar con él y así tal vez pueda recordar algo de lo que vivieron juntos. El se dedica con tanto amor hacia ella a mostrarle la casa donde vivían, fotografías y el lugar donde a Paige le gustaba pasar el rato mientras pintaba en grandes lienzos.

This fact makes the story becomes gray, Leo begins to try to get closer to Paige again and that she together with him can remember the love story they both built but it will not be an easy task as Paige feels very scared and her mind is that of a young woman whose life is focused on being with her family and dedicate herself to her career, at the same time Paige's parents take this as an opportunity to get her away from Leo so she can have a better future. After this Leo begins to look for her so that she can interact with him and maybe she can remember something of what they lived together. He dedicates himself with so much love towards her to show her the house where they lived, photographs and the place where Paige liked to hang out while painting on large canvases.

Hay momentos de tensión y frustración ya que Paige aunque desea recordar siente que esa vida ya no forma parte de ella y eso es lo que intenta hacerle entender a Leo, pero él la ama demasiado como para dejarla ir y aunque desea que ella siga a su lado no la presiona y empieza a seguir su vida a pesar del dolor que siente por no poder estar con ella y demostrarle su amor. Es una historia que te hace sentir tristeza porque es realmente fuerte lo que ambos vivieron y donde vemos cómo de un día para el otro las cosas pueden cambiar en un segundo y lo que solías amar ya no quiera ser parte de tu vida. Realmente amé que eligieran a Channing y a Rachel porque aunque ambos parecen que no tienen tanta química cuando empezamos a ver la historia nos sorprenden con una actuación que te hace sentir la relación de una forma tan real, bonita y a la vez dolorosa.

There are moments of tension and frustration because Paige, although she wants to remember, feels that this life is no longer part of her and that is what she tries to make Leo understand, but he loves her too much to let her go and although he wants her to stay by his side, he doesn't pressure her and starts to follow his life despite the pain he feels for not being able to be with her and show his love for her. It's a story that makes you feel sad because it's really strong what they both lived and where we see how from one day to the next things can change in a second and what you used to love doesn't want to be part of your life anymore. I really loved that they chose Channing and Rachel because even though they both seem like they don't have that much chemistry when we start watching the story they surprise us with a performance that makes you feel the relationship in such a real, beautiful and at the same time painful way.

Siento que uno de los mensajes más importantes de esta historia es la fuerza y determinación que tiene Leo para luchar por el amor de su vida a pesar de las circunstancias en las que se encuentra, nunca se da por vencido y es paciente en cuanto a esperar que el tiempo pase y que Paige logre recordar, mientras que el va creando de nuevo un vínculo con ella desde la paciencia y la amistad como cuando su relación empezó. En el amor siempre van haber situaciones que nos hagan sentir que no es suficiente el solo hecho de amar a la otra persona, también debemos hacérselo saber con acciones, estando presente en los momentos más importantes y teniendo la paciencia de entender que en este caso Paige no lo recuerda y le genera mucho estrés y miedo su insistencia, pero con el tiempo llega a volver a enamorarse quizás una segunda vez de Leo, más allá de lo que piense su familia o sus amigos, se enamora de él porque fue sincero y le demostró que aunque no estuvieran juntos él siempre cuidaría de ella y se preocuparía por su bienestar y eso es algo que solo el amor puede lograr.

I feel that one of the most important messages of this story is the strength and determination that Leo has to fight for the love of his life despite the circumstances in which he finds himself, he never gives up and is patient in waiting for time to pass and for Paige to remember, while he is creating again a bond with her from patience and friendship as when their relationship began. In love there will always be situations that make us feel that it is not enough just to love the other person, we must also let them know with actions, being present in the most important moments and having the patience to understand that in this case Paige does not remember him and his insistence generates a lot of stress and fear, but with time she falls in love with Leo again, maybe a second time, beyond what her family or friends think, she falls in love with him because he was sincere and showed her that even if they were not together he would always take care of her and worry about her well being and that is something that only love can achieve.
