Greetings friends of Hive I hope you are very well, this time I come to share an experience I lived today in the movie theater of the Margot Benacerraf.

Saludos amigos de Hive espero que se encuentren muy bien, en ésta oportunidad vengo a compartir una experiencia que viví hoy les en la sala de cine de la Margot Benacerraf.

After leaving the editing room, I noticed that we are in the university's anniversary week, I looked at the billboard of the movie theater and saw that there was a film forum with the filmmakers, The Rodriguez Brothers.

Después de salir de clases de la sala de edición, me percaté que estamos en la semana de aniversario de la universidad, me asomé a la cartelera de la sala de cine y vi que había un cine foro con los cineastas, Los hermanos Rodríguez.

This pleased me a lot, taking into account that I had been wanting to see this film for a while, but I didn't know where I could see it, since it is still rotating in festivals and can't be sold while that is happening.

Esto me agrado mucho, tomando en cuenta que tenía rato con ganas de ver esta película, pero no sabía donde podía verla, ya que aún se está rotando en festivales y no se puede vender mientras eso sucede.

The film is about a single mother who lives with her daughter, her husband is in prison and has just been diagnosed with a brain tumor. This affects him with a headache that he has constantly and that the directors let us know through the sound and visual effects that they implement.

La película trata de una madre soltera que vive con su hija, su esposo se encuentra preso y le acaban de diagnosticar un tumor en el cerebro. Este le afecta con un dolor de cabeza que tiene constantemente y que los directores nos hacen saber a través de los efectos sonoros y visuales que implementan.

This film represents the social reality of Caracas, from the architecture of the neighborhoods, the economic situations and many of the realities of the family structures of the lower classes of Caracas.

Este filme representa una realidad social de caracas, desde la arquitectura de los barrios, las situaciones económicas y muchas de las realidades de las estructuras familiares de las clases bajas de Caracas.

As the directors say, these films are not for the public to like, it is a cinema that comes to make you uncomfortable.

Como dicen los directores, estas películas no son para que al público le agrade, es un cine que te viene a incomodar.

One of the most interesting things I can appreciate in this production is the acting work of the protagonist, who has to transmit throughout the film an intense headache that torments her along with all the situation she lives and brings with her since her childhood.

Una de las cosas más interesantes que puedo apreciar de esta producción es el trabajo actoral de la protagonista, quien tiene que transmitir en todo el filme un dolor de cabeza intenso que la atormenta junto a toda la situación que vive y trae consigo desde su infancia.

The directors in the film show us the patterns that the protagonist is repeating from her mother. The psychology is present in this film and shows the incomprehension that she brings with her from childhood transformed into hatred, a feeling that is represented through the tumor she has.

Los directores en la película nos muestran los patrones que la protagonista está repitiendo de su madre. La psicología hace presente en esta película y se muestra la incomprensión que trae consigo desde la infancia transformada en odio, sentimiento que se representa a través del tumor que ella tiene.

I thank the perfect universe from the beginning of its creation for this causality to happen today, for me it was a unique experience to see this film with these wonderful directors and this great actress. To be able to listen to their experiences and opinions of what it was like for them to be able to achieve this masterpiece is one of the best classes I have ever had.

Agradezco al perfecto universo desde el principio de su creación para que esta causalidad se diera hoy, para mí fue una experiencia única ver esta película junto a estos maravillosos directores y esta gran actriz. Poder escuchar sus experiencias y opiniones de lo que para ellos fue poder lograr esta obra maestra es una de las mejores clases que he podido tener.
