Review of The X-Men 97 Episode 6.
Hello everyone, how are you all? Today I was at home all day so there was no work pressure. Currently there is no pressure to study. So, I watched episode 6 of X-Men 97 without delay. This episode was released on 17th of this month. In my previous post, I talked about episode 5 of The X-Men 97. Hopefully, episode 7 of X-Men 97 will be released tomorrow.
Now let's come directly to the story. Here, I will give some spoilers about this episode. Those who haven't seen it can skip this post.
This episode is titled "Lifedeath - Part 2" which means it is related to episode 1 of "Lifedeath - Part 1". And I think this name is suitable for this episode because it gave many twists from the beginning to the end. This entire episode revolves around two people: Professor X and Storm, and that's what I'll be discussing.
First, the biggest twist is the revelation that Professor X is still alive and living with the Shia people. He is now in the Shear Galaxy. But how did he get there? How is he alive? That he is alive, his X-Men team members don't know why. Nothing is said about them in this episode. Hopefully, it will be revealed gradually in the coming episodes. However, although he can be seen moving, he is only able to walk due to a robotic suit. His potential marriage to Empress Lilandra is a significant development, hinting at his peaceful life away from Earth. However, his desire to return to Earth and his students create a conflict with Lilandra, who fears that he may never return to space.
At the very end of "Lifedeath - Part 1," we saw a demon attacking storm and Forge. The demon repeatedly tries to convince Storm that he will return her powers and that the X-Men team members mistreated her. But Storm trusts herself and goes to find the cactus to save Forge. Eventually, she regains her powers, kills the demon, and saves Forge.
Eventually, Mister Sinister is also informed that he was the one who attacked Genosha. This is where the episode ends. I didn't find the episode bad. In this episode, we see Professor X using his powers. But there should have been more information about the Shear Galaxy and the mutants there. And I love Storm's story. The story of her regaining her powers is beautifully presented. It can be said that Episode 6 sets the stage for a thrilling conclusion to the season with the return of the big mutants and the promise of exciting developments to come. If you have watched this episode, give your feedback.
