Movies & TV Shows Community Highlight #962
Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.
The Details
Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.
There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

After all, my actions need to be guided by my own understanding of right and wrong, because that way, I have skin in the game and more of a reason to abide by it. I can't just be doing what I'm told is right/wrong, because sooner or later, I will come to a situation that challenges that external distinction, and be forced to another choice. Do I continue to abide by someone else's value system, or do I choose "wrong"? Either way, it creates serious dissonance.

I'm just done watching the final episode of Season 3 of From which has been the Series that I have been kind of obsessed over this year. There is something about it that really intrigues me with the mystery of lost and the horror aspect of the walking dead. I did enjoy Season 3 probably more than the first 2 seasons since I was unable to binge watch it. Having one Episiode each week on Sunday morning was always something to look forward to followed by the tease of the new episode a couple days later and the speculation of the community. At the same time, this also took away from it as there were many things that were kind of spoiled in a way. I would say ideally, for someone who has not watched the show yet, it is perfect to fill an entire month with just watching 1 episode each day. I also like the fact that for the first time now in the final episode we got some answers even though there were a lot of hints toward them while a lot of the mystery and questions still remain. When it comes down to season 3, not all too much happened and there was a lot of filler stuff or plotlines that kind of dragged on and could easily have been shorter. But all of it didn't take away from the enjoyment as each episode as a tiny bit of interesting info while the last episode was satisfying leaving me wanting more. Season 4 is confirmed and I'm highly looking forward to it already.

In the plot certain things happen and in the end everything gets complicated to a serious point but we already know that it will be resolved because in Christmas movies the magic is that everything turns out well and everyone can be happy. And really this innocence is what I like about the movies because it invites you to continue being a child and let your imagination fly.

There are things that were a bit inconclusive, maybe they will make more of these movies to develop the why of this and that. It's an interesting movie, but it was more the marketing than what the movie itself gives. I didn't like something in particular and that was that I was expecting more script or more story to tell from the actor Ray Nicholson, I thought that would be the case since they gave a lot of publicity to his face and smile and he wasn't too linked to the story.

It is undeniable to say that animation, for this era, proposes designs and elements worthy of appreciation and value by the viewer. It's incredible how the people at Dreamsworks surpass themselves more and more in each project. With the visual effects, the sounds, the transitions and the creativity that comes from telling a story to captivate us and dazzle us emotionally. This in animation is interesting because the future that is coming, adding to the technological in the area, brings surprises for the future

In a previous post I did my review of the first movie: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone where we can see the beginning of Harry Potter and his way to the school of magic called Hogwarts, we know part of the story of Harry's birth and his relationship with the unnamable being, we also know how the rules of magic are handled and other main characters like Ron and Hermione who will be Harry's best friends in this adventure to discover how to become wizards and also discover the things that are hidden inside the corners of the dark world of Hogwarts.

I loved the movie it gave me encouragement in these moments, it shows me what I have been resilient and what I have overcome, continuing with my transformation process. I can relate.

This is how they arrive at the Romulus, this ship looks abandoned and with signs of serious damage, but the boys insistently try to execute their plan. However, little by little they will understand that in the ship there is much more than damage and destruction, there await terrors that they never imagined they would find, so the struggle for survival begins desperately.

The problems with this film are too numerous to list here but in a shell, the plot is absurd and unnecessary and the obvious conclusion of the good guys winning is something that is expected. I had hoped that the action would be a LOT better than it was though and especially with Cate, the action scenes don't even look good. It appears as though they threw a bunch of money at her and she agreed to sign on but then didn't even do the choreography practice properly and this necessitated a lot of body double work as well as creative camera use.

The film has very natural performances, which kept me attentive to the development of the story. I did not know the actors Lucie Zhang and Makita Samba. They both convey a lot of freshness, but it is she who stands out the most with her character so full of inner conflicts. I have followed Noemie Merlant's career. Curio and Portrait of a Woman on Fire are two of her films that I have published. She is fabulous and here she excels again with her character.
Congratulations to everyone that was chosen, and thank you to everyone posting in Movies and TV Shows! We look forward to the next report and highlighting even more of you.
