Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.

The Details

Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.

There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

🤖My review about The Iron Giant | Mi opinión sobre El Gigante de Hierro🎬

But I insist, that was the idea, which was perfectly achieved. The characters are the perfect tool to achieve this since they are endearing, especially the great and gentle giant who looked at the world through the eyes of a tourist, who discovers everything for the first time. He gradually learns human nature, the way things work, he sees the good things but also the terribly bad ones, although his friend Hogarth also took it upon himself, from his childlike innocence, to show him that in the end the good is more important.

Civil War

Critics of the film worried at the backstory and were skeptical about the politic alliances in the film - understandably, a Texas-Californian Front is about as far-fetched as it gets. There's no real exposition of how America got to this point of civil war, which disgruntles some viewers. But the ambiguity works - it's not so much about how America got this way, but the realities of war itself. Like 'The Beach' and '28 Days Later', 'Civil War' looks at the dark side of human nature, and just what we are capable of. There's some harrowing scenes both in the war reporter Kirsten Dunst's flashbacks of photographing scenes of horrific violence, and in the frenetic heat of their road trip to interview the president - mass graves, executions, senseless murders.

Review: Érase una vez una boda/ (Once upon a wedding) Comedy and romance on a small island

The movie is kind of funny, since it generates comical and embarrassing situations among the inhabitants of the island where the inhabitants elect their commander, this is responsible for the administration of wealth and everything that concerns the island, it becomes a dictator not to delegate power to anyone who are not children of the same so there is no other way to choose, However it is not a cruel dictator, but rather benevolent, aware of the needs of his people, very strange but funny things happen that you must discover when you see it, I could keep a smile for a long time because of the fun without falling into the absurd and ridiculous.

Charlie, it's you! | All Dogs Go to Heaven Movie Review

I believe that one of the stages where the foundations of friendship are laid is the one where we stop being children and open our eyes to the world and to the curiosity for what is not allowed. This is delicate, because if there is no trust with parents, in the street we tend to believe everything we are told. The body undergoes transformations and emotions are at the surface. Period where we look ugly, we look for ways to attract attention and be popular.

Thelma - Movie Review

This is a comedy with necessary dramatic elements directed and written by Josh Margolin, which is the first time he has directed a feature film in his short career; his work is correct in focusing briefly on the simple life of a woman who must again risk to do justice and that is where he must explore other areas of Los Angeles, where the story takes place, this is something I appreciate because I like to see that city in movies and the director creates good shots in different areas that have much meaning for the protagonists, whether in a home, in a nursing home, in a street or lonely area or even a cemetery; it is a very simple work, but perfect for the film that is.

Film Review: Intensamente 2 | Todas las etapas y emociones son importantes 🧡

Riley's emotions are better than ever, although she now feels a little pressure to fit in and be a person that others can look up to. Alegria ensures that Riley is always in a better mood and she is now able to deal much better with other emotions such as sadness, anger, dislike and fear. All of these emotions are essential for Riley to get through his stages in a way where he makes mistakes but can recover and learn from them. But now that anxiety has come out of nowhere and wants to take control of everything, that's when things start to get difficult and this emotion completely takes over Riley's destiny.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes | Review

Little by little, the connection with the human beings and each one of the apes that are there and especially the great ape that is kidnapped comes into play, which allows them to reflect, evolve and make new decisions in order to know what it is like to govern a great ape population. Other things I liked is the way the director manages to give a very happy, attractive touch and seeks that each ape can take his path and thus go creating the story, therefore, it is a film that beyond continuing the trilogy was not worth it, since once again new things stand out and leaves a big gap.

What a selection of movie reviews folks at @moviesonhive. Out of the seven selected me three jajajajajaja. I highly recommend Intensamente II, it has very important messages in these hectic times in which emotions often overwhelm us. Cheers to the nominees @mandysmoon, @riverflows, @equipodelta, @mafalda2018, @nameless16, @naath and @davidpena21.
