Julians Hard Cider
Greetings my friends, I had another video shoot a few weeks back and as always, I like to share some awesome stills from the footage.
This time let's head up to the beautiful little mountain town in San Diego- Julian (famous for you guessed it- Apples)
Julians Hard Cider is a cute little bar in Julian California- known for their Apples (we will visit the Orchard a little later)
The first things we shot were some product shots
The owner had some great ideas for staging his products- Cherry Bomb- Cherry Pie
To get some action for the video I asked him to cut and pick up a piece of Pie..
Inside- I got a few candid shots of some patrons playing games- this is the womans face after dropping in the last piece for a victory
Lots of beautiful beers and ales on tap (I don't drink so I can't vouch for the taste- but everyone seemed to love them)
Product/Decor Shots
Classic Action Shot- double branding with the cup and beer can
Obviously whenever there is a dog.. you get the dog
Cool spin off a caramel apple beer
Kind of looks like apple juice (which they DID have- obviously- and they sent me home with some- delish)
Cheers
Next we got some product shots
Loved the balance between this shirt and their backdrop
Their Orchard was off site- and not going to lie- it was getting towards the end of apple season- so it wasn't as "apple lushios" as I would have imagined- but there were still a few patches of good apples)
I also got some awesome shots on the drive home which I will share in the next post.
But as always- thanks for stopping by. For those who prefer mountains over beaches- Julian is an awesome place- very cute little downtown area - AND about an hours drive to the beach if you DID want to visit the beach every now and then.
Until next time
Much Love
Andrew
It's been a while but I've been to Julian! Cute little town.
I live down in San Diego- Julians about an hours drive- been up there a few times- super cool downtown area- but for living- as of now I'm a closer to the beach guy 😀
I understand. Julian didn't seem to have a lot going on other than it was cute. I was there because I was hired to fly in a small plane above a mansion and huge property for photos, this was before drones... But I also got ground level shots and interiors too, then visited the town area for lunch.
Kensington area was my home for a while, way back when I went to Mesa College. San Diego area was a fun place to live!
oh- cool- kensington is right down the road.
I've lived in city heights for a year and mission valley/linda vista currently. Very cool neutral area- feels like I'm 15 minutes to pretty much anything
Nice!!! I didn't live there very long, but many great memories. And many beach days! Missing those beach days lately. It was 20ºF here this morning...
