La historia se centra en Ellen Hutter y su esposo Thomas, Ella
Se presenta como una esposa joven recién casada que no quiere separarse se su esposo Thomas ,pero debido a la deuda que este tiene con su amigo y su intención de querer proveer a Ellen en su recién comenzado matrimonio, toma el arriesgado trabajo de ir a llevarle un contrato de venta al Excéntrico Conde Orlok , quien busca comprar una propiedad y debido a su rara condición no puede ir en persona a la ciudad, Thomas cegado por la recompensa toma camino hacia el extraño pueblo en las montañas donde se encuentra la Mansión del Conde, mientras en la ciudad Ellen se queda con su mejor amiga Anna y el amigo de Thomas , Frederick, que la acompañan, pero Ellen no puede evitar que sus pesadillas y su angustia la consuman , algo oscuro la acecha y el que Thomas esté lejos solo lo hace intensificar. Mientras Thomas por otro lado se encuentra más extrañado de las extrañas personas del pueblo y aparte de Que al conocer a este conde Orlok resulta ser un Hombre escalofriante y demandante , y que añadiendo los extraños sueños que Thomas tiene ,ha estado llevándolo a la locura sin saber que es lo que está pasando, pero hasta que Orlok muestra sus verdaderos colores como el monstruo que es, Thomas se enfrenta a él casi perdiendo la vida pero logrando huir al final.Todo mientras Ellen es afectada cada día con más intensidad por visiones horribles y ataques epilépticos que sufría hace años , y es que Ellen ha estado ocultando hace años un terrible secreto, que de alguna forma su alma se ha vinculado a un monstruo ,y este es el mismo Conde Orlok, un ser maléfico , y oscuro , un no-muerto ,un nosferatu, Ahora depende de Thomas llegar a tiempo para evitar que el Conde se lleve a Ellen y ,a está luchar contra su oscuro dominio.

Para este fan- art recree está imagen de Ellen hablando con el Profesor , que es una de las escenas en dónde se ve tan estéticamente bonita que la ame, me parece que el nivel de Lili Rose Deep para lograr crear una actuación tan poderosa, transmitiendo tanta melancolía y vulnerabilidad, al mismo tiempo su faceta más dramática para emular ella misma las escenas de posesión es increíble , realmente nunca la había visto destacar mucho en la actuación ,pero para mí la película es realmente sobre Ellen y está vínculo tóxico que desarrollo con Orlok , y está pesada carga sobre sus visiones y sensibilidad hacia lo oscuro, todas las actuaciones fueron increíbles pero la forma en que interpretó a Ellen y sus escenas de posesión me dieron mucho más que el mismo Conde Orlok.

Poniendo que el punto más fuerte de la película en su hermosura, la estética que lograron conseguir, con su ambientación envolvente de una historia gótica, también se encuentran las capacidades actorales de cada actor, Como la interpretación de Bill Skarsgård como el mismo Conde , sabiendo que tuvo que desarrollar una actuación de un monstruo dándole su voz característica y trasmitir toda su actuación con una prótesis de cuerpo completo y un vestuario de pieles pesados, pero que para Bill que está acostumbrado a estos papeles lo hace sin problemas. Sin embargo me pasó algo con la película a diferencia de mucha gente que salió súper complacidos con ella, a mí la verdad no me pareció tan terrorífica y eso que soy bastante miedosa 😅, realmente sentir que el Orlok quedó bastante relegado como personaje terrorífico ,lejos de su aspecto grotesco que da sí asco ,más no te aterroriza( realmente el bigote no fue buena opción) , a veces pareciera que Heer Knot su secuaz, tiene escenas más escalofriantes que el mismo Nosferatu, en sí entiendo el uso de la peste y las ratas para transmitir esa idea del miedo sembrado por el vampiro y lo desconocido, pero Orlok a veces parecía un ex novio tóxico y sí bastante violento y loco ( por supuesto lo que le hizo a la familia de los amigos de Ellen fue atroz) , pero sus ademanes se sentían más de un hombre malvado de la época ,que de la cruel criatura sin alma del vampiro, por lo que para mí en ese aspecto no me dejó de convencer el personaje.

Para el fan art hice un dibujo del conde Orlok dándole consejos a una versión moderna del vampiro, el mismo Edward Cullen, porque luego de ver qué se la pasan acosando a Ellen en sueños ,pues me recordó bastante a toda la actitud acosadora del Edward entrando al cuarto de bella de noche para verla dormir, bien acosador el Edwin,jajaja , así que parece ser una cosa de vampiros, aunque no creo que sea bueno seguir los consejos amorosos del nosferatu.

Otro tema que no me dejó de cerrar es esta relación entre Ellen y Thomas , siento que después de ver la película la idea del amor que le tenía Ellen a Thomas era más , que lo amaba por hacerla sentir "normal" como ella le expresa al doctor , de alguna forma , algo en Thomas cortaba no solo la influencia de Nosferatu en Ellen , síno también al parecer le disminuía está "sensibilidad " que tenía hacia las cosas ocultas, a mí parecer esta necesidad de Ellen de no separarse de él era más usarlo de salvavidas que una relación amorosa en sí, tampoco estoy diciendo que Ellen amara al conde , ciertamente " que el no puede amarla ya que no sabe amar,solo poseer " de esa manera creo que Ellen en su soledad se refugio en la compañía de este extraño ser que siempre busco la forma de tomarla del mundo para que ella no escapara, creo que talvez sí la película hubiera mostrado algo más sobre como era su relación con Thomas antes de casarse ,o incluso con su padre, que por lo que vemos no era buena, hubiéramos podido tener un mejor desarrollo del personaje , y es algo que me pasó con la película , sentí que todo quedó un poco a medias en como se desarrolla la historia.

En fin la verdad aunque esas cosas me molestaron le doy un puntaje de 4⭐/5⭐, porque me parece que cada escena es bella , es una de esas películas que te envuelve tanto que quisieras adentrarte en ese ambiente o esa estética ,pero que con la historia quedó bastante corta , aunque esa es mi opinión impopular ustedes que me dicen ?
