The Night We Met ; My Favorite Movie Sound Track

“The Night We Met” was sung by lord Huron and first released in 2015. My first encounter with the song was through the love-emotional movie titled “13 Reasons Why”, which was released in 2015 but I watched it in 2017. I Remember crying emotionally over this movie. The Song has a very pleasant harmony that is sweet to the hearing and able to pierce a hard heart to be soft. “The Night We Met” is a Folk Rock Genre Music.

The Movie 13 Reason talks about serious emotional matters like a bully from friends, sexual assault, drug abuse, and gun violence. The Movie is centered around two lovers, in which one took her life because she has had a lot of traumatic experiences lately leading the guy to be heartbroken. The part of the movie that touched me, leading me to cry while I was watching the movie was, Hannah Baker who took her life because she had experienced a lot of bad experiences that affected her mental health. Hannah loves Clay Jenson, and Clay Jenson also loves Hannah. The whole drama revolves around high school. After Hannah committed Suicide Clay Jenson was never himself since then, he often hurt himself blaming himself for Hannah’s death that he was not there with her. Clay Jenson struggles to get his emotional feelings back. The Movie is emotional and each time I watch it I get emotional and upset also of Hannah commuting suicide. I felt that even though she was raped and had a lot of people bullying her and not supporting her that should not guarantee the end of the World to her.

I will also say the song “The Night We Met “ is the only song that made the movie more emotional and trendy. When it gets to the emotional part of the movie and they play this song I often cry then because, after Hannah's death, Clay Jenson struggles to get his broken self back.

The reason why the movie is named “13 Reasons Why” is because Hannah left a note for Clay listing 13 reasons why she killed herself and at the end of the note she made it clear that Clay was not the reason why she killed herself because she knows people are aware that both of them were deep lovers.

Music is pleasant to the soul, and this song and emotional movie pierced my heart to tears and I was so pained. I feel lord Huron who happens to be the singer of the song got emotional while writing and singing this song.

I so much love this song that for some years now, I still play it like it was sung yesterday. I play it when I want to sleep, I play it when I wake up, when am in the bathroom, or when am doing morning road work.

This Folk-Rock Genre Music is the best I have ever heard. This Song made the movie not just within the country but also globally. I have watched several movies relating to traumatic experiences like this that caused several mental illnesses in the movie, But this song makes the Movie so Complete.

To anyone yet to listen to this song, I will recommend you to listen to the Full song below.
