La calidad de las películas animadas de DC siempre han sido muy superiores a sus contrapartes de Marvel, y ante un evento tan importante como crisis en tierras infinitas, donde inclusive van a dividir la historia en 3 cintas diferentes para poder desarrollar todos los acontecimientos de la mejor forma, esperaba muchísimo de la cinta, pero tengo que ser sincero y decir que las primeras dos partes me decepcionaron, aunque solo hablaré de la primera en este post.

The quality of DC animated films have always been far superior to their Marvel counterparts, and in the face of an event as important as Crisis on Infinite Earths, where they are even going to divide the story into 3 different films to be able to develop all the events of the better way, I expected a lot from the film, but I have to be honest and say that the first two parts disappointed me, although I will only talk about the first in this post.

Relatando un poco la historia, vemos como El Monitor, un ser que está destinado a ver los acontecimientos del mundo sin interferir, decide actuar al ver una gran ola de antimateria que esta eliminando uno a uno todos los universos conocidos, por lo que recluta a los héroes más importantes de todas las líneas de tiempo, para tratar de detener esta nueva amenaza multiversal, pero a diferencia de los cómics, hay muchos que poca importancia tienen, yendo cada uní casi que por su lado.

Un anciano misterioso, quien no sabremos quien es hasta la segunda entrega, envía a Flash (Barry Allen) a diferentes etapas en su vida a través de su viaje en el tiempo, siendo importante para la historia su encuentro con Amazo, un cyborg que le está dando una paliza a la liga de justicia, que finalmente sería clave para descubrir como proteger su universo de la ola de antimateria. Entre todo esto, tambien vemos la relación de Flash con Iris, su boda y otras cosas, pero lo que me llamó la atención fue como de ser originalmente una pelirroja, ya es canonicamente un mujer de color.

También vemos otras historias en la misma línea temporal, donde este Barry conoce al Sindicato del Crimen, unos doppelgängängers de la liga de la justicia, que su objetivo fue conquistar al mundo, con héroes tan inverosímiles como Lex Luthor, cosa si me gustó la verdad. Pero como ya comenté antes, otros personajes que aparecen tienen un nulo desarrollo, o simplemente no se les vuelve a ver, por lo que si hubieran distribuido un poco más el metraje hubiera sido mucho mejor.

But as I mentioned before, other characters that appear have zero development, or are simply not seen again, so if they had distributed the footage a little more it would have been much better.

Y es que justamente aquí veo la mayoría de los problemas, porque se siente que todo el desarrollo es como un prólogo, no buscan darle una solución al problema principal, sino que hayan una solución que termina abriendo muchos otros problemas, y aunque se que esta es apenas la primera parte, y que por simple lógica debería ser así, se siente un mal sabor de boca ver el final, algo parecido a lo que vimos en Spiderman Across the Spiderverse, pero sin esa animación demencial, cabe destacar.

And it is precisely here that I see the majority of the problems, because it feels that the entire development is like a prologue, they do not seek to provide a solution to the main problem, but rather find a solution that ends up opening up many other problems, and although I know that this It is only the first part, and by simple logic it should be like that, it feels like a bad taste in your mouth to see the end, something similar to what we saw in Spiderman Across the Spiderverse, but without that insane animation, it is worth highlighting.

Y objetivamente eso fue lo que menos me gustó, sin duda alguna, la animación, pues se ve como inacabada o insuficiente para lo que fueron las peliculas antecesoras. Uno de los mayores fuertes de las películas de DC siempre fue su animación increíble, en este momento solamente me llega a la mente Justice League Dark, de las últimas que recuerdo que cada fotograma fue cuidado al detalle, aunque creo que con el reinicio de los nuevos 52, justifican muchas cosas por una nueva cabeza creativa, o al menos esto es lo que supongo yo, realmente no indague para hacer mi argumento.

And objectively that was what I liked the least, without a doubt, the animation, because it looks unfinished or insufficient for what the predecessor films were. One of the greatest strengths of DC films has always been their incredible animation, at this moment only Justice League Dark comes to mind, one of the last ones that I remember in which each frame was taken care of in detail, although I think that with the reboot of the new 52, ​​they justify many things for a new creative head, or at least this is what I assume, I didn't really dig to make my argument.

En conclusión, y sólo hablando de la primera entrega, fue algo decepcionante, la historia inicia con Flash y sus viajes en el tiempo, y aunque no siguen la historia original, pues SuperGirl tiene un peso indescriptible, la verdad siento que la historia no se desarrolló de la mejor forma posible, sumado a la animación y la integración, siento que como película defrauda, no se que tan bien parada pueda terminar cuando la saga terminé y se presente la lucha contra el antimonitor, alguien que ni siquiera se menciona hasta esta parte de la historia.

In conclusion, and only speaking of the first installment, it was somewhat disappointing, the story begins with Flash and his travels in time, and although they do not follow the original story, because SuperGirl has an indescribable weight, the truth is that I feel that the story does not developed in the best possible way, added to the animation and integration, I feel that as a film it disappoints, I don't know how well it can end when the saga is over and the fight against the anti-monitor is presented, someone who is not even mentioned until this part of the story.
