The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure | 𝕸𝖔𝖛𝖎𝖊 𝕽𝖊𝖛𝖎𝖊𝖜

I'm beginning to think that I do nothing aside watching movies day in day out but it really isn't true believe it or not, lol. In the last few weeks, I've seen a lot of interesting movies, and even longer series that took a lot of my time but was worth it for me. Among those many movies, this one won a place in my heart for not being too long but very interesting and just the right kind of movie I wanted to see and I really enjoyed my time on it.

Adventure, comedy, action, thrilling... It's all in!
It's a pirate movie! Haha

Allow me to add, there is more comedy and adventure than the genres in the movie and that is the very reason I enjoyed this movie.

The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure movie was first recommended to me through a friend's status I saw on WhatsApp, he was like "One of the funniest movie for me since this year" and I had the title saved to have it downloaded too. I love movies that make sure to give humour even when things get very serious and this movie is a perfect example of what I love.

The movie is about a Joseon crew who sets out on a search to find the last royal gold before their rivals do. How they got the interest to go on the search must be one of the unusual ways I've ever imagined as they took on the adventure without considering the dangers they might encounter. But I guess that is how pirates works, they choose not to be scared of what is yet to happen.

The crew sets out for the search, did they find it? Or did they lose their way? Or what did they find at last? You'll find out when you see the movie.

I saw this character (Han Hyo-joo) in the movie and knew it immediately that I was in for a movie with amazing characters as I've seen a few other series where she starred in and how well she plays her role. This movie is no different and considering that she got the main lead character to play on this one, she did so well.

Have-Rang is the Lead Captain, very daring, beautiful and a good fighter with brains. She is tempted alongside her team to go in search of Royal gold even though she didn't know the real worth of what she was searching for. Her way of leading is an aspect of the movie to learn from even though they were kind of primitive.

Her assistant (Kang Ha-neul) who tried is hard to be seen as the leader is my favourite character. When the viewers tag this movie funny, this character is the reason. He's not only a good fighter or always getting on his leader's nerve, he knows very well how to win a real fight with funny but tricky moves.

It turns out he's in love with the captain and the captain didn't return the love until close to the end of the movie so yeah... This isn't a romantic movie. While there are scenes that scared me thinking this character would die, there were scenes I concluded he would really die but he did not lol. It's so funny whenever I think about those scenes.

Another character (Kwang-Soo Lee) I felt attached to is one of the crew members who kept betraying the others including his Captain because of the possibility of him having all the royal gold they were searching for. How he believed that for what was yet to be found is so hilarious and his stupid acts made the movie even more interesting for the viewers, I can bet that lol.

There are other noticeable characters but I've shared the ones I enjoyed every bit of what they acted out on their part. Maybe it's because I've seen them in other movies before this one but they really are good, I almost didn't recognize one because of how he changed so much for this movie setting.

It is a movie about pirates and they did well to show that in their dressing, foods, adventure destinations and even in the way they talk. I think that was impressive considering that they made this movie at a time where pirates aren't popular or work anymore. I also like the tricks they pulled on dangers they faced during their adventure, making the storms look real and all the actions they took to stay safe.

It is a movie that is not just full of surprises on their adventure, it also showed unexpected moments for each main characters which gives the viewers more thrills and something to look forward to. The movie has a good ending, just in case you're wondering. Here is trailer of the movie...
