The Butterflies In "Feeling Butterflies" - Movie Review [ENG/ESP]

I was reluctant to see this movie as I had it downloaded along with some Korean series I had been hoping to see. Since Korean series take more time to get done with, I decided to see this full movie with some other ones which I'll share my reviews on later. I saw this movie and at the end, I was like "What did I just watch?" 😅 it really was as the title implies... A movie about butterfly feelings 😂
But believe me, it's worth seeing considering the fact that I got to learn about butterflies and also a few lessons from the main character.
"Feeling butterflies" is an hallmark movie, an hour long with the genres "comedy, romance, drama". It was released in the Year 2022 so not so old and it definitely has the kind of storyline I love to see in romantic movies. The movie is starred by popular hallmark characters but it's my first time seeing them in a movie. Obviously, because I rarely see these kinds of movie but I saw a few more suggestions of their other movies and I might check them out later.
The movie is about a lady whose business is making celebrations more memorable with butterflies she tends to and releases during the celebrations for payment. She is faced with a difficult contract for a bigger pay and a life changing decision, what could it be? You'll have to see the movie to know what that is.
The main Characters had good chemistry with each other
I couldn't help but notice how well the two connect to each other and by the two, I mean Emily Mariposa (starred by Kayla Wallace) and Garrett (starred by Kevin McGarry), the butterfly business lady and a single father she worked for but got closer thanks to his daughter. The two gave the love vibe from the very beginning of the movie but of course, storyline won't let them say it out until the intermission of the movie or at the end.
Well, that makes the movie more memorable for me anyways. Garrett couldn't say it out loud that he is in love with the woman who makes his daughter happy with her butterfly knowledge and cheerful self and Emily couldn't come out with her feelings after he said he was in a complicated relationship. But the main aspect of this movie is that they had to work together to help Emily overcome a huge task, how they went about it was an interesting watch for me.
The movie gets a 8/10 rating from me because of this...
The Butterflies aspect... Like there were actual butterflies, those ones we see at weddings when the couple are done with their vows, those butterflies spread around instead of petals. I chuckled when I saw that it was actually a business one could venture into, that intriguing part got the movie a 5/10 from me.
The comedy aspect... I laughed a lot on this one especially the scenes with the female lead's best friend Adam who first noticed his best friend was falling in love and the scenes with Emily's father are super hilarious too. Where he kept running his mouth about his daughter to Garrett was one scene I could never get tired of 😅 this gave them a 2/10 from me.
The little girl in the movie got my attention...* She was cheerful from start to finish as if she had all she needed, her role in making her father realize that he was in love was so adorable. It only showed that she was after her father's happiness and will gladly accept Emily as her new mother. Maybe it's because she's little, I find little characters like that adorable to see in movies, she got the rating up by 1/10.
Do check the movie out, it is going to be worth your time and yeah, you can see it with family.

Estaba reacio a ver esta película porque la había descargado junto con algunas series coreanas que esperaba ver. Dado que las series coreanas toman más tiempo para terminar, decidí ver esta película completa con algunas otras, sobre las cuales compartiré mis reseñas más adelante. Vi esta película y al final estaba como "¿Qué acabo de ver?" 😅 realmente fue como el título lo indica... Una película sobre los sentimientos de las mariposas 😂
Pero créanme, vale la pena verlo considerando el hecho de que aprendí sobre las mariposas y también algunas lecciones del personaje principal.
"Sintiendo mariposas" es una película emblemática, de una hora de duración con los géneros "comedia, romance, drama". Fue lanzado en el año 2022, por lo que no es tan antiguo y definitivamente tiene el tipo de historia que me encanta ver en las películas románticas. La película está protagonizada por personajes emblemáticos populares, pero es la primera vez que los veo en una película. Obviamente, porque rara vez veo este tipo de películas, pero vi algunas sugerencias más de sus otras películas y podría revisarlas más tarde.
La película trata sobre una dama cuyo negocio es hacer que las celebraciones sean más memorables con mariposas que ella cuida y libera durante las celebraciones a cambio de un pago. Se enfrenta a un contrato difícil por un salario mayor y una decisión que le cambiará la vida, ¿cuál podría ser? Tendrás que ver la película para saber qué es eso.
Los personajes principales tenían buena química entre ellos
No pude evitar notar lo bien que los dos se conectan entre sí y por los dos, me refiero a Emily Mariposa (protagonizada por Kayla Wallace) y Garrett (protagonizada por Kevin McGarry), la mujer del negocio de las mariposas y un padre soltero para el que trabajaba, pero se acercó gracias a su hija. Los dos dieron la vibra de amor desde el comienzo de la película pero, por supuesto, la historia no les permitirá decirlo hasta el intermedio de la película o al final.
Bueno, eso hace que la película sea más memorable para mí de todos modos. Garrett no pudo decir en voz alta que está enamorado de la mujer que hace feliz a su hija con su conocimiento de las mariposas y su personalidad alegre y Emily no pudo expresar sus sentimientos después de que él dijera que estaba en una relación complicada. Pero el aspecto principal de esta película es que tuvieron que trabajar juntos para ayudar a Emily a superar una gran tarea, la forma en que lo hicieron fue un reloj interesante para mí.
La película obtuvo una calificación de 8/10 de mi parte debido a esto...
El aspecto de las mariposas... Como si hubiera mariposas reales, esas que vemos en las bodas cuando la pareja termina con sus votos, esas mariposas se extienden alrededor en lugar de pétalos. Me reí entre dientes cuando vi que en realidad era un negocio en el que uno podía aventurarse, esa parte intrigante le dio a la película un 5/10.
El aspecto de la comedia... Me reí mucho con esta, especialmente las escenas con el mejor amigo de la protagonista femenina Adam, quien notó por primera vez que su mejor amigo se estaba enamorando y las escenas con el padre de Emily son súper gracioso también. Donde él seguía diciendo cosas sobre su hija a Garrett era una escena de la que nunca me cansaba 😅 esto les dio un 2/10 de mi parte.
La niña de la película me llamó la atención...* Estaba alegre de principio a fin como si tuviera todo lo que necesitaba, su papel en hacer que su padre se diera cuenta de que estaba enamorado fue tan adorable. Solo demostró que buscaba la felicidad de su padre y aceptará con gusto a Emily como su nueva madre. Tal vez es porque ella es pequeña, encuentro a los pequeños personajes adorables para ver en las películas, obtuvo la calificación en 1/10.
Mire la película, valdrá la pena y sí, puede verla con su familia.
