𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆-𝑯𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑺𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝑰𝒏 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 - "Shooting Stars" Review

One of my favourite rom-com setting in movies is the office love and it has to be the love-hate kind as it give more rush of emotions when the characters involved get to realize their love is more than the hate they've been giving or taking. Another kdrama with such a storyline drew my attention in seconds.

I didn't download this series from recommendation, I fell in love with a scene I came across and rushed to go see the whole thing, that decision was just so right as I could find myself wishing that the series did not come to an end.

I once saw a short movie of a love-hate relationship in a office that went really crazy until they let their feelings show in a more relaxed way. That gave me higher expectations for this series since it's my favourite kinda series and they didn't fall short of those expectations.

Shooting Stars is a 16 episodes long Korean series that was released in the year 2022. You know that feeling where you wish you had seen a movie long before you did, I had same for this series. It was just so refreshing to see after a series that seemed too intense, maybe I'll make a review of that soon.

The series "Shooting Stars" is about a top star who is in a love-hate relationship with his agency's PR team leader. The series is also about different characters coming together in the agency finding love after hating each other.

Since it's about an actor, the series also showed a lot about how scenes are being shoot in real life for our pleasure as viewers. I find it noth intriguing and funny as they try to act a movie in a movie, really exciting!

If one could love a lead character double time, this character would win my love over and over. Gong Tae-sung starred by Young-Dae Kim is the top star in the series but before this series, I had seen him star as a teenager in a mystery and crime genre Korean series titled "Penthouse". That was the first time Korean series introduced him to me but I got to like him more from this series.

How he makes faces, play the hating role in different scenes and still act as the most sweetest being when he fell in love with the female lead, all that made me love his role in the series.

Does it seem fair to like the male lead and only a little about a female lead in a series? Because that was my situation in this series, I wouldn't love the series so much if the male lead was a little like the female lead, but the two make a really good match for the storyline.

There were a lot of amazing supporting characters that caught my attention, I even had to download a series that has one of them as a lead in it. My main reason to recommend this series to anyone is for whoever would love those office romance that comes with different dramas and really funny scenes.

And then, you get to see how busy and tiring it could get for a top star with the rumors, scandals. The role of the PR team in the series also got me wondering if the news read about stars could actually be trusted even when they are directly from the agency they belong to.

There is the lawyer to make sure the agency wins, there are the reporters to write only things that would be in favour of the agency and then, there is the haters who try to bring down a star with hate clubs and comments. This series shares a lot about all that and I really find it intriguing.
