K-Drama Delights: Ranking My Top Five K-Series Of 2024

For the first time in my time of reviewing series, I won't be sharing their pictures and that's because I'm in a bid to publish a post but got no good internet connection where I am to find and have them downloaded. This wouldn't in anyway affect how these series got to be in my top 5 kdrama of 2024.

I had a bit of a hard time deciding which would make it to my top 5 as I did a rundown of the ones I've left saved after seeing them, I deleted some and that's the main sign you need to know they were not good enough for a re-watch. But for this list, even though not all are in it, they were all worth my time. I won't be reviewing but just share why I love these series.

Lovely Runner

My most favourite in the year 2024, I'll even choose this series over many other series I've seen years before last year. I enjoyed this series for many reason, and they are:

The Storyline is amazing and well written, about a superstar who dies untimely in the present day, and a lady who goes back in time of his school era to prevent his death from happening over and over. I also love the chemistry between the main leads and somehow, I love the character name choices lol.

If I am to rate this series for anyone to check it out, it's a 10/10 from me. The series met all my expectations and beyond, a sweet romance and comedy show for your time. Honestly, I've seen this series more than four times already.

Marry My Husband

My second best for the year 2024, a sweet revenge story that had viewers smiling at how well a revenge can be carried out. I'm a huge fan of the female lead but she won my heart over again with her role in this particular series.

A woman diagnosed with cancer catches her husband cheating with her best friend and in a rift, falls to her death but is given a second chance to live again from the time before her marriage. She sets out on changing her fate to her bestfriend, a sweet revenge takes place.

I specially like the twists, the revenge scenes and even with less comedy, one feels satisfied with the series. It's a 9/10 from me, you should check it out.

Judge From Hell

I saw this one recently and it won my heart totally, maybe it's because of the female lead or the storyline especially the gratifying verdicts in it or maybe the male lead character had a thing or two to do with it, everything was entertaining about this series. Even the few comedy and fashion of the female lead had me loving it.

It's a story about a demon who is punished to punish criminals and send them to hell, and a righteous detective who would do anything to stop her from achieving her plans until they fall in love and crime still continues.

Although I think the female lead stole the whole show but there were just enough screentime for the male lead and other supporters to make the series that good. It's a 9/10 from me, do check it out.

My Demon

My Top 4 for the year 2024 but I'm yet to see it again even though it's been long I saw it. It's a very fictional story with almost nothing to relate with as a person but it had me hooked all through and I think that's enough for it to be on this list.

The series is about a demon guy who somehow gets involved with a lady that takes his power away and he only can use it when he's with her. The situation brought them closer and love grew. The two stole the whole show in this one, there was almost no time to admire or like the other supporting characters but they did well.

It's a 8/10 from me for being a series I can re-watch and would highly recommend if you're in for a good mini superpower series hehe.

My Sweet Mobster

My most recent and last on the list but not the least, just one I'd gladly see again after sometime. The series tells of a guy who was a gangster and tries to lead a normal life, employs all past criminals into his company and is living with some of them. He encounters a lady that made him even more normal like every other guy and he becomes so sweet.

It's the first time the male lead is taking up the role of a lead and I must say he killed it, his unique voice had so much to do with how much many viewers love him. The female lead was a natural at the role, I've seen her play other roles before, I think she's made for it.

It's a 8/10 but I bet you'll enjoy your time on this refreshing story with a bit of past mistakes and sad tales to tell. In all, it is worth watching.
